Thanks for the start, Chele. It's good that your new Fitbit has you moving regularly again. I've been meaning to ask about your avatar: sunrise or sunset? Guessing it's your neighborhood. The chickpea burger recipe came out kind of crumbly. It was a bit soft, even after letting it set in the fridge to firm up for over an hour. Taste is meh. It will be ok for lunches on a bed of arugula topped with kimchi. Almost 9 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber, so it's still healthy.
Kathy, has your heat returned? We're sitting very comfortably in the mid 50s right now, so quite a change from last week and the weekend. We'll be getting a good bit of rain with those increasing temps (at least it's not snow and ice). Are you expecting rain and fog again? Did you get a Calm app update on your phone that changed your background? I finally figured out how to change it back.
Happy Anniversary, Linda and Bob. Any special plans? Interesting exercise article. I wonder if what they aren't saying is that if you plan to exercise 4 minutes a day, you will probably exercise longer than 4 minutes. And the article does specify, "at least 25 minutes a week". Congrats on the new fridge, but oh no on that grocery bill to restock.
Dale went for a trail run (in the mud) and I'm getting some cooking done and getting ready for tomorrow. Arya and I both have oats for our breakfasts and Dale has broccoli for dinners. I have to stop on the way to Osteo for blood work and have to take a 24-hour urine collection with me tomorrow for another test. So much fun! Then on my way home from the gym, I'll be stopping at Walgreens for my first Shingrix jab. Dale did ok with the first one, but the 2nd one threw him for a loop, so we'll see how I do with this one. They recommend at least a couple of months between doses. I should have everything taken care of meal wise in the event I feel lousy Friday and into the weekend. Still awaiting FedEx deliveries, one that should have been delivered a week ago. We did get one delivered yesterday, so maybe we'll get lucky on all 3 today. Parking lots in KVL are apparently still messy, so I'll need to watch my footing again tomorrow. I hope the rain we'll be getting this evening will help with the melting.

Linda, I hope you are enjoying your day.
Karen, that’s a sunset from my bedroom window. Sorry chickpea burger crumbled.
Kathy, I hope you are having a good day.
Short post today. My eyes are burning and blurry today. Don’t know why. 50° and raining today.

Karen, we're getting close to 80 today, but it looks like they've lowered the forecast a bit to low 80s. They were saying near record breaking heat, but I think maybe it's too cloudy for that to happen. We have rain coming Sunday and then it's back to the 60s. The fog is pretty common this time of year. I didn't notice a Calm update, but maybe it hasn't made it to my phone yet. Hate it when stuff changes like that! Hope the Shingrix shot doesn't affect you too much.
Chele, pretty avatar. I love the colors against the winter trees. How are your eyes today? I wonder if the weather changes are affecting them. Hope they're doing better today. I had an eye doctor appointment yesterday just to check a new pair of contacts and woke up with a headache today. They always have to put that fluorescein eye stain into my eyes to look at the contacts on the eyes and it irritates the heck out of them. Their office is all the way across town, so it pretty much took up the entire day. The headache is gone now and the eyes feel back to normal.
Happy Anniversary, Linda and Bob! Hope you had a great day.
