Miz Minni just would having nothing to do with canned food mixed with her old stuff, but wanted all new. She has been picking apart the kibble kind. I gave up and just gave her new this morning. Hope we do not have abdominal issues later, but this has fiber and probiotics and has been ok. Fingers crossed.
up wobbly from tired legs after yesterday, so asked Bob to get Minni walked before leave for museum. Doing both walks is too much today. I have been managing half mile.
Hope your weather is decent, some sun comes out and the day is good.

Thanks for the start, Chele. How are the eyes doing? Good news that Iggy's back pain wasn't kidney stones. I wish there was a better way for him to get as much calcium as he needs without taking pills. An Osteo friend takes a liquid supplement, but it's still the same mineral so I have to wonder if it's any safer. There are a lot of advantages to having a DO for a PCP. I wish we had more around here because they are much more progressive than the average MD. Are you getting some sunshine? We have had a little bit peek through the clouds from time to time, but nothing to get excited about. They say maybe Thursday, after another round of rain moves through tomorrow. The week's menu sounds great! What does the Lebanese kidney bean dish have in it? You're both definitely getting your fiber. I agree with the annoying crazies and their lack of reality as a basis as a major cause of our current states of mind in this country. It was a shame about the Lions not making it to their first Super Bowl. In some ways, I would have preferred a Ravens-Lions match up just to have some different teams in the mix.
We're all having crazy weather, Kathy. We had freezing fog this morning, so it was good that we didn't have to go anywhere until late morning when Dale left for tennis. Where are your temperatures trending later into the weekend? Did you watch the entire Lions-49ers game? I started reading an article on the ESPN website that detailed what the 2nd half problems were but it turned out to be a subscriber-only article and they only show the first couple of paragraphs. They looked like the better team in the first couple of quarters.
Linda, sorry your legs are still feeling the effects of yesterday's activity. How did Minni do with all new food? I hope the fiber doesn't hit all at once. I've never been to Flemings but have been to Ruth's Chris--been a while though, because it was my pre-vegetarian days. I did used to love a good steak. I hope you either have leftovers or other plans for dinner. We still have some remaining sushi, so dinner prep will be simple here. How was the museum?
I heard from Liz. She is working in the city today and has a mandatory "brainwash" she wasn't looking forward to. She said she is getting some knee pain relief thanks to the shots, so that was encouraging. She is hoping to remain on her current work schedule through April. That would be just past the one year mark since surgery. Hard to believe it's been that long ago.
I was fairly busy today with laundry and routine cleaning. Arya and I did take a nice walk around the property. She's funny in that she takes me on a different walk than she and Dale usually take.

Karen, our temps are staying about the same this week and another weather system is coming on Sunday. They said the 80s won't return for at least a couple of weeks. I watched the entire Lions/49ers game and don't really have an explanation for what happened to them. It just seemed like they started making mistakes and having near misses with dropped passes and almost getting turnovers. I didn't like their decision to go for two later in the game. They didn't get it and they would have been within one score with an extra point. I agree it would have been nice to have some different teams in the Super Bowl. At least we'll get to see all the cuts to Taylor Swift, lol. Thanks for the update on Liz. It is hard to believe the surgery was almost a year ago. That is funny on Arya and her different routes for different people.
Waving to Chele and Linda.

81 again today but 60s returning late Thursday with rain, My little doggie scared heck out of me and the Prime lady because since the fridge was delivered evidently I did not get the bottom bolt all to the hole to keep the left side of the security door shut. So even though the door was locked, she pushed hard on the plexiglas and bottom bars and opened it and ran out. The delivery gal stayed still as I dashed out. Minni has a three foot invisible line approaching strangers and was at it barking furiously. Bob said , “she won't bite. “The reply was, I've heard that before.” I took her color and walked her inside .we fixed the door. But it will have a dog pen side in front of it if it is open again. Phew.wonder if we now have a beware of dog note on our address? Tonight's dinner from a cookbook I Bought in London is creamy, leek, onion, potato, ham and cheese pie. It looks good. First time I made it.
