Hey friends,
Here we are already - saying goodbye to January and hello to February. Hope everyone is well.
Good news on my test results. All is fine and no obstructions. Better safe than sorry and I had a feeling this would be the case. Glad it's over although it was not a bad procedure.
Work has been hectic. Up and down and back and forth but I am doing fine. Communication could be better from above.
I'll pop in later! Have a good one all. Not sure what is on the menu tonight. Something easy! I will have to miss my TOPS tomorrow as I am going into work. DS and family arrive Friday so looking forward to that.
Sue, I hope your DH did well with his procedure today. Let us know. Pam, hope all's well!

Hello, WW Friends ~
I had a good day at school and came right home afterward. Good thing because I had an email that payroll is due in the morning and I may not have checked it before I went in. Now it's done and submitted.
Judy ~ Glad your test went well. My DH doesn't have his (duplex carotid artery scan) until next Tuesday. My DBIL is supposed to have had numerous tests this week so we plan to touch base with him tonight. The results will determine whether he has the TAVR or not. We are waiting anxiously to hear.
Hopefully we will hear something soon.
Make a great evening.

Hi Sue and friends,
Good to see you here, Sue. Keep us posted on your DBIL. We all have a lot going on, don't we? Getting older is for the birds sometimes, but beats the alternative! What is TAVR? And good luck to your DH on his scans, too. My dad had blocked carotids but managed well with them. My DH is feeling pretty well but yesterday he had to skip his Furesimide (sp?) - diuretics and gained 6 lbs overnight! He had two different dr. appts yesterday and was unable to take the meds. So now we realize even more how valuable those pills are to lower water weight.
I am at work now and having a good day so far. It feels SO good to get out of the house. I was going stir crazy especially with our gloomy, rainy and gray weather. It really takes a toll on me as far as feeling blue. Great to be among the group and I've had some nice chats with my wonderful co-workers.
Dinner is in the crockpot at home. I had a head of cabbage and some homemade kielbasa from the Polish import shop. I found a recipe online and threw in potatoes, onions, kielbasa, choppped cabbage and spices. It says to serve it over egg noodles or rice, but I don't think we even need that with the potatoes. Dinner will be ready when I get home!
Have a wonderful day and Happy February! One step closer to spring and hopefully some sunshine.

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
Happy Thursday - the end of my work week! I had a haircut appointment on my calendar for this afternoon, but when I got there my hairdresser had already gone. She had written it down for next Thursday. Not surprising since we just changed the frequency last month going from 5 weeks to 4 weeks, but apparently her fingers decided it was going to be 5 weeks <lol> So the lady who was there gave me an 11 a.m. appointment on Saturday instead.
I stopped at Meijer and picked up a prescription, and walked a bit and stretched my legs while I was there. I am walking better and noticing improvement all the time (so is DH).
My DBIL had bad news about his TAVR in that the office forgot to schedule him, no idea why! Now he's scheduled for next week. Judy, the TAVR is Transcatheter aortic valve replacement. He has a "leaky" aortic valve and this procedure is supposed to remedy it.
DH went out to DBIL's house today to see if he could fix his furnace, but they had to call in a professional. They did have a great talk about DBIL selling his house (more sooner than later).
I got embroiled in some bill paying and computer work and now it's almost time to pack it in, so
Have a great evening!
