Good morning! Just back from the gym and doing the arm weight machines. I decided that I've been wearing myself out for not a lot of gain so I'm going to go to the Blink gym on mon & thur for leg weight machines and rowing and again on tues & fri for just arm weight machines (which takes almost twice as long as the leg machines). And on saturdays I'll go to Elevate gym for spinning. I'll still work on walking at least 30 minutes daily. Eventually I'll add more spinning classes. But I've been trying to go to the gym everyday and rowing everyday and lifting weights everyday and have been too tired to do ANYTHING else!
I need to exercise regularly but what I need even more is to get my eating under control. Mo, I'd like to join you on getting serious about our weight!
Mo, good luck, I know you can do it! And I can too!

Yes, I have two gym club memberships, lol! But I joined Elevate gym (formerly Golds gym formerly Sundown) back in 1984. Then in 1986, they had a promotion (they needed money to add swimming pools to their two clubs) where you had to pay a lot of money up front but then you got a lifetime membership of only $25 a year! Yup that's $25 a year! So I can actually afford a "no frills" gym for $15 a month. There aren't any classes so I still go to Elevate for all my exercise classes like spinning. I hope to add other exercise classes as I lose weight.
I joined Elevate/Golds/Sundown back when I worked in the office. While the gym isn't close to home is very close to the office so I used to go during lunch or after work. I joined the local gym last year when I decided to risk going back to gym and especially when I decided to go through with the knee replacement surgery.

Good mornin . I made whole whet spaghetti and sauce. I m going shopping for frozen broccoli and some fruit and maybe 7 sweet potatoes and to fill 2 water jugs to fit in my water cooler. my goal is to get off diet soda . for health and also cost. it is going to be sunny this week 45 about. I will try to walk. I signed up for WW online. 11 a month till it isn't. I paid off my nice new vacuum today when I got ssa. I could go to a gym for free with my program but I went a different gym. oi want to get serious about my weight too. I eat half a package of whole wheat past an half a can of non fat pasta sauce. Scott will help fill 2 water jugs . I have water cooler for bottom just to pbe put in. next Sunday wee are having a super-bowl party downstairs. I hope to buy some fruit too. I will see how much it costs to fill water jugs; I may go down the street to another store that I can fill jugs with with my wage. They open at 7. I have 2 caps for the jugs that would help with putting on.THey are each 4 gallon jugs. also I have to find the jug filler too. I am getting doctors at home. I am glad. I will see how much it costs eat the local store. What is nice you can get hot water or cold. Since ilife in an apartment where you cant fill from the refrigerator, this is cheapest way to do it. I think I have 8 gallons to fill and it hit they charge .49 cents a gallon.

Good morning! I'm struggling with my morning routine of going to the gym. I have to do better! On the plus side, Susan went to work yesterday. She was feeling nauseous and nervous so I ended up driving her. I didn't pressure her but did remind her that she'd been saying she needed to get back to work. She said once she walked in she was fine and had a really good day.
Amy, sorry about the sprained ankle! I had to look up diabetes 3, I hadn't heard of it. After looking it up, I was able to resist grabbing something sweet to eat!

So that was yesterday's response that I typed but didn't actually send. Oooops!
So didn't get to gym this morning, but I will walk on the TM, maybe outside too, I think today is supposed to warm up? Which is weird because it's only in the 20s now. Also, I'll go lift some hand weights at home, I don't need the gym for that!
Susan went to work again yesterday and drove herself! We're making progress!
