It's unusual for me to be here first! We had a crazy hail storm last night. It sounded like someone was hurling big rocks at my windows. I don't think there is any damage though and thankfully it didn't last too long. DS and DBIL managed to be driving through it, but I'm not sure if the hail was as large where they were.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Thanks for the start, Kathy. I’m glad to hear you didn’t have any damage to your house. How did DS’s car do?
I was feeling sluggish this morning and then it was all go for errands.
It is a sunny day so after errands Iggy and I took a drive in the countryside. We saw some cows in a field with calves. I didn’t think it was calving season yet. Since the trees are bare we got to see some houses we don’t usually see. Some people must be doing well because we saw some big homes behind gates among the fields.
We were both cheered up by the sun.

Kathy,I saw a weather map this morning..sure looked icky for Florida.
Chele, enjoy that sun while you have it. Ours goes away tomorrow when California's rain hits here, but not like there. It will be gloomy all all week. Hope it does not start until after my hair cut and time at the museum. Cut will look a lot better now that I dyed hair yesterday. I just do not look good mixed gray.
I mailed the taxes and a box of different packets of Sees chocolates to sisters back east and stopped at Sprouts for stuff we can't get at Aldi's. Allergies were making we clog and eyes drip by then. Juniper tree pollen has been going on for two months! I think something else has added itself.
Got a big half Turkey breast at Sprouts , so I will make some New England bread dressing and have Turkey dinner tonight.
Finally cleaned out the deck box on the patio ,sorted it and organized it with containers I bought.
So I get to sit with a book for a while

Thanks for the start, Kathy. I'm glad you didn't have any damage and that what DS/DBIL drove through was less intense than what you experienced. Was there damage in your subdivision that you know of? It probably helped that your car is kept in the garage. Did you watch the Grammys? I didn't watch but did see a list of the winners and was happy that Joni Mitchell was a winner. I heard some OG at the gym today whining about how he was tired of hearing about Taylor Swift.
Chele, I hope you got unsluggish on your drive in the country. Seems kind of early for calves, but maybe Phil was right about spring. But then so many cows are artificially inseminated these days that nature doesn't have much of a role. I wonder how long it will be before there are no fields--only big houses behind gates and big subdivisions. How's your back?
Sorry about your allergies, Linda, but I guess it's that time of year. The minute you mentioned it being juniper I remembered what fits it gave you. There is so much non-native vegetation there that people have brought from where they used to live that it's hard to tell what else you might now be allergic to. Sounds like Thanksgiving in February for you tonight. Enjoy your book.
Class was more cardio than resistance training this morning. We even used the steps today, so it was fairly intense In fact, she described what we were going to do and then said, "good luck". I'm already near 13K steps and 121 of my weekly 300 intensity minutes. On the way home I stopped at Walgreens for a tetanus shot that the new PCP had recommended I get, since I think the last one I had was when I tried to cut off a couple of fingers with the mandolin, which I know some of you remember. The pharmacist said my arm would be really sore tomorrow so keep it moving today as much as possible. I had laundry to do when I got home, Arya needed ground turkey for dinner, and I needed to cut up a pineapple and deseed my last 2 pomegranates (hope I can find more at Publix on Thursday), so I've managed to keep it moving.
