.Weather guessers had lots of storms for yesterday. Nope! Today one says rain 10 until 4, another says just 1 to three. Not planning with that advice.

Linda, you can’t trust those guys at the weather center.
I’ve been doing the dreaded housework and laundry and have over 8000 steps already. I sat down for lunch and when I got back up I felt stiff and sore in my legs and had a muscle twitch in my hip. 😂😂 Old age sux. But it’s a nice warm, sunny day so I can’t complain too much.
I hope you are all having a good day.

Chele I hear you on that!
Raining, raining, raining, mostly light but big storm last night.lawn is saturated. Dog is not happy and ran out to pee, started to get soaked and ran back. Then she treats the towel as an enemy , and it is more like a very weird bullfight. Half hour later it stopped briefly. That was one long squat! She ticked herself into her small fuzzy round bed in the family room with me.tNever opportunity is short walk around five. This goes in off and on through Saturday. It shut down first dat of the huge gold tournament in Scottsdale…the kind with big. Oval building with amphitheater seating around the holes, big crowds.
kept seeing things on Facebook about Paczki…Fat Tuesday Polishe jelly donuts with plum jam. Went out in light rain. Hoping some still keft at All Peirogi. Nope. Got some raspberry cholochi. It was really raining over in Mesa. I actually got to use car heater and defroster and heated seats! Temp dropped 14 degrees since yesterday.
today is indoor stuff Fter Minni got a quick face trim at groomer…too long and full of twigs leaves, etc! Picked reserved books at library and home to doThree loads of laundry and start dishwasher.
a using myself going through ethnic cookbooks and writing down stuff that looks promising. I do that on a slip of paper for each book, then cannot remember which book I saw something in. So it is going into a notebook by title, desserts on the right, other stuff left. Reminded myself of lots I want make.
Hope your day was good.

Linda, our weather forecasts are wrong a lot too. I can just picture Minni with that towel.
Chele, 8k steps is a lot! Hope the stiffness doesn't last. I feel like I can't consider myself old yet since DM is 30 years older than me! That's a long time to think of myself as old if I make it to her age. It's warmed up into the 70s here and there is a little bit more sun. They said we're experiencing record breaking cloudiness. I saw the SpaceX launch last night while streaming the U2 concert live from the sphere. Modern technology is amazing! (when it works)
Karen, safe travels today. There were several good performances after Tracy Chapman on the Grammys if you get a chance to watch the whole show. It seemed like a bit of a throwback show with more older performers than usual.

Thanks for the start, Chele. I hope you don't pay for those extra 1000 steps today. Major congrats on the loss. I just heard a doc the other day say that you don't want to lose any more than 1/2 to 1% of your total weight in a week. He was also talking about how quickly people were losing on the new weight loss drugs and how risky it was. Best to lose "the old fashioned way". Never too late to build muscle and cardiovascular health. I've been active since I was a kid and it used to really bother DM that she didn't have a "girly girl". Her favorite story to tell (and not in a good way) was when I was 7 or 8 years old and came home with my dress ripped from sliding into 2nd base during recess. I think it's been a good thing to have this background now that I'm older. I was talking to the pharmacist when I got my tetanus shot and she indicated that she was intimidated going to the gym. I talked her into getting a trainer for a few sessions. Speaking of the gym, the new year's resolution crowd seems to be long gone and I got in and out quickly today and didn't have to wait for any machines. Are you and Iggy still working out together? I never knew what lebne was. Does he use whole milk? What does he use for starter? What makes it different from Greek yogurt, other than how long it strains for?
Kathy, I also found a link to the Fast Car duo that had been taken down but I can't remember what page it was on (wasn't Twitter though). Good news on your DM's leg. I figured she would heal quickly. Amazing that your aunt is still driving at 97. Does she still live on her own? Is this the Philly or NSB one? Did your rain finally move out? I may have to go back to check out more of the Grammys. I didn't realize there were more throwbacks than just that one.
Sorry about all that rain, Linda. I hope the system wrings itself out some before it gets here. I know Minni is not happy with all that rain. I didn't realize there were different varieties of Polish donuts. LOL on not remembering what book a recipe was in. I do that all the time. I even do it with online recipes when I can remember the ingredients but not the title of the recipe or where I filed it.
Osteo went well today, as did PT. He's getting to know exactly where on the side of my knee to press to elicit a pain response 😧. I have to admit though that the pain level is so much less this year than it was last year. When I started going last March there were days pain level was a 10 or 11. These days it usually doesn't get beyond a 2. He thinks I may have aggravated it going up and down the hills spreading mulch for the last couple of days. No plans to do any more of that any time soon. Rain moves in tomorrow and we'll have it til Sunday then back again on Monday. I've enjoyed being in the low 60s but that will also be coming to an end.
