Kansas City pulled that Super Bowl out of the hat. Sorry about the Niners, Karen. When I went upstairs Niners were ahead in the 3rd. I wasn‘t rooting for or against either team.
I hope you are all doing well today.
It’s a nice sunny day and 41°. I’ve been cooking and dusting and vacuuming this morning and I am ready for a break. I’ve got 6500 steps in and 28 active minutes so I’m doing well on that front. Yesterday NWS was predicting snow for the area overnight but now they say it will be south and east of us. Yay!

Good for you, Chele.
got up gimpy after two very active days. But it went down hill from there. Sleepy and fuzzy. Feel like I caught something this weekend..Hope not. So after making breakfast for DH and straightening out the bookshelf mess in two places I tucked myself back into bed.

Thanks for the start, Chele. The Chiefs pulled that victory out of somewhere for sure. We made it about halfway through the 3rd quarter and the Niners were still ahead. I was a bit disappointed to hear about what we missed but glad we didn't stay up til the end or it would have taken us forever to get to sleep. Did you watch the Puppy Bowl yesterday afternoon? Congrats on the steps and active minutes. Glad you missed the snow. We might get a bit, but not what Liz is expecting. She'll be working from home this week, so that's good.
Linda, sorry you woke up feeling not-so-good. Hope crawling back into bed for a while was helpful and you're feeling much better.
Did you watch the entire Super Bowl, Kathy? Any memorable commercials for you, good or bad? I thought several of them were lame, including that Robert Kennedy, Jr. throwback commercial, CeraVe with Michael Cera, and the one with the 4-wheeler and the mullets. I got really tired of the number of times they played the TEMU commercial. But I did like the Doritos commercial, as well as the Mayo cat, Mountain Dew, and the E*Trade babies playing pickleball. Lots more social justice ads that usual, which was a good thing IMO. I do want to see the Wicked movie after watching the trailer. I tried to read the book several years ago but just couldn't get into it. Are you back down into the 60s for highs yet?
We are on our 4th day (and hopefully last) day of rain for a while. My sinuses are not happy. I got some things done around the house today. We have a fresh loaf of sourdough and clean towels. I managed to do some time on the rowing machine. The sun is supposed to shine tomorrow. Hopefully things will be back to normal then.

I managed to post today on yesterday's thread!
Chele, that was one of the best Super Bowl games I've seen. I thought most of the commercials were pretty lame this year though. It seemed like the theme was to use celebrities. We're in the 80s and might have some thunderstorms later along with a cold front. Tomorrow will just be in the 60s which is more my kind of weather. Wednesday is supposed to be sunny, but there are clouds every other day in the two week forecast. Linda, hope you're feeling better. Sounds like your body needed more rest. Pretty sky in your avatar. Karen, there are wetlands all around my neighborhood. There is a wildlife preserve just to the north and the Econlockhatchee river is just to the east. I didn't hear the limpkin call. I wondered if it could be a juvenile too. It's beak didn't look quite as long as the pictures of the adults, but it was very similar. I'll keep an eye out for it and see if I can get a decent picture.
I think I missed most of the commercials that you liked, but agree on the ones you didn't like. I was glad I stayed up until the end and saw the exciting finish. The Wicked movie looked good. I tried to read the book too and didn't get very far with it. I don't usually give up on books either, but for some reason I just couldn't get into it. The cold front is coming through tonight, so it's still quite warm out there. Hope the sinuses improve tomorrow.
