Karen, thanks for the start. I hope the sinuses are better. The Puppy Bowl is always cute. I always get puppy fever. I’m glad Liz gets to work from home.
Kathy, did your cold front come through? I used to love the SB commercials, because they used to be funny. RFK Jrs siblings were not too happy with his ad.
How are you feeling today, Linda? I hope things have improved.
I lost 0.4 lbs this week. I think the increase in simple carbs slowed the loss. I had a bagel every morning. The bagels are now gone, so we’ll see of that was a problem or just my body adjusting.
It’s a nice sunny day heading for the low 40s but currently 34°. Iggy is making zucchini fritters and I am doing zoodles and spaghetti squash to mix with mushrooms, onions and garlic. It’s veggie day not fat Tuesday.

Kathy, I wouldn't have been able to sleep after the finish to that game. All the commercials are online now. I saw an article on I think it was CNN that gave their rankings and they absolutely loved the State Farm ad with "Ah-nold". They also mentioned that it seemed to be "the year of the celebrity commercial". The amount of $$ they have to pay to get an ad on the game plus what they had to pay celebs really drove up the price this year. So I hope the advertisers found it worth the expense. I agree with you on the lameness of most of them. Interesting that we had the same reaction to the Wicked book. I also usually don't give up easily. Did your cold front come through? We had some strong winds and rain around bedtime. The winds were so powerful that they moved my heavy Adirondack glider about 10 feet on the deck. We have some trees down but nothing close to the house.
How are you doing today, Linda? I hope you have more energy than yesterday. Is this a museum day?
Chele, sorry you're back to winter temperatures again, but the sunshine has to be nice. Did you get any snow? I think Liz and Gary got slammed and are under a winter storm warning until this evening. I hope some nice neighbor will shovel their sidewalk and driveway. Will you have the zucchini fritters with the squashes, mushrooms, and garlic? You must have caught a major sale on zucchini this week. No Fat Tuesday here today either. Congrats on the loss. Could well be a body adjustment. Hope so! I guess you'll see next week. Like you, we have cooler temps and sunshine. Sinuses are doing a lot better, but then I haven't taken them out in the cold yet so that could change. I forgot about the Puppy Bowl until it was over. I may try to see if it's available on streaming somewhere. Did Iggy watch? I know you would love for him to catch puppy fever.
Not much going on here today. A couple of loads of laundry, vacuuming, and some IP'ing has been done and don't have plans for much more. I also did an interval style weight training workout that provided good intensity minutes but was difficult because I was doing it in a space that was a bit small. Not sure I'll attempt that again, but it made up for missing iTone yesterday due to a telehealth follow up appointment. Too bad it's not warm enough to be out on the deck. Due to all the rain we've had, we do have some water visible in our part of the lake. Too bad they won't leave it that way. But swim season is coming.

Chele, there was a lot of wind last night, so I assume it was from the cold front. It was cooler today, but not cold. There were a couple of SB commercials I saw that were mildly amusing, but nothing that memorable. One of my all time favorites is the one with the Clydesdales playing football. The RFK one was beyond ridiculous. Congrats on the loss! It's normal for it to vary a bit.
Karen, we had some wind last night, but not as strong as what you had. Glad you didn't have trees down near the house. I wouldn't have been able to sleep not knowing the end of the game!
Linda, your table setting and flowers are pretty. Minni looks fierce with that toy. Love the eyebrows!
