Happy 7th Birthday to Arya! I canāt believe the baby is that old already.
Karen, I remember JFK being killed but not the election. We had pasta with zoodles, spaghetti squash etc. yesterday. How was the chili? The sun was out yesterday and it was gorgeous. Today is windy and cloudy. How was Osteo and the gym?
Kathy, still chilly down your way? Did you see DM for ā„ļø Day?
Linda, I understand your dish obsession. We like different dishes too. That pancake sounds fantastic. Congratulations on the weight loss. Howās the back after all the gardening?
I had a haircut yesterday afternoon and it feels great. I didnāt do a pixie cut this time but itās short. Today was Kroger day and tomorrow we get taxes done. Living la vida loca.
Have a good day.

Karen, Happy 7th birthday to Arya!! I don't remember when JFK was killed or anything about the election between him and Nixon. I do remember when RFK was killed a few years later.
Chele, it warmed up a bit today and we have a little bit more sun. It will keep warming up until the next front comes through this weekend. I have even more fun by doing my taxes myself, woohoo! And now I do DM's too. It's actually pretty easy with the tax software since it fills in the forms for you, but it's still a pain. We brought DM some flowers and chocolate, so she was happy with that.
Linda, I feel like we pay for nice winters with all the summer heat, humidity and hurricanes. We have baseball teams that come for spring training too. Good idea to have Valentine's lunch out instead of dinner.

Chele, hope you like your hair.
nanaged a decent short dog walk after a Tylenol and an Advil. Need to get veggies made to go with pork schnitzel tonight. Got to get more protein and veggies into the diabetic. Me too.

Thanks for the start, Chele. Good luck with the taxes tomorrow. What kind of cut did you end up with, if it wasn't a pixie? I don't remember much about when JFK got elected, but I do remember that TV ad for his campaign. And I definitely remember the assassination. We have wind today as well, but barely a cloud in the sky. I agree with you on Arya being 7. I stopped at the pet supply store on the way home and bought her a stuffed squeaky llama that she took to right away. It's the first time she hasn't been suspicious of something new, so that's progress. How was Krogering? The chili was great. However, it's amazing that these skinny little vegan chefs claim the full recipe makes 6 servings, but I make half a recipe and get 8. I had to buy additional box of quart jars so I can store part of it in the freezer.
Kathy, are the launches so frequent now that it takes the novelty out of seeing one? Was there one early this morning or was it before you got up? We got into the mid 60s today and I had to roll down the windows and open the sunroof. I also shed my hoodie to come home, in favor of a t-shirt.
Yes, Linda, Arya is now 7. Don't know how that happened so fast. She doesn't look it or act it. Sweet potatoes might be worth a shot for Minni. Why is squash out? If you don't want to bake it whole, it's available frozen already cut up. The kaisarschmarren sounds intriguing, but also sounds like a lot of work. Glad you had leftovers, but the reaction on his blood sugar isn't a good thing. The Sees probably didn't help either. I hope the relatives back east didn't get buried in the Nor'easter. The Giants spring training facility is in Scottsdale. How far is that from you? I wouldn't be able to walk with my knee pretzeled up under me. At least the back doesn't hurt. Sorry about 2 weeks worth of pile up on the desk. Easy to put things off but with my stuff it ends up taking me longer than if I'd just done it a bit at a time instead of piling it up.
Osteo went well, as did the gym. The parking lot at the latter was more crowded than the interior was for some reason. I had no problem getting on the machines when I wanted, so that's 2 weeks in a row. I had a little knee pain on the leg press for some unknown reason, but it feels ok now. It's a bit windy but otherwise a gorgeous day, especially for the middle of February.
