Good Morning, WW Friends ~
I missed posting the past few days because of busyness, but did get the time to read your posts and catch up.
We have a snow storm predicted this morning. I have school today and then an ophthalmology appointment right after school. Our Mid-Winter Break is tomorrow and next Monday & Tuesday. I look forward to the break.
DH brought home roses and a balloon and the best card ever! Talks about having "you in my life" and then when opened James Brown is singing "I feel good!" I got him a cute card and a box of Ferrero Rocher candies. We both love them but reserve them for special (like Valentine's) <lol>
Time to get myself ready to go. My appointment is 1/2 hour after school ends, so I'll be on the fast track. That will get me home earlier, which I love!
BBL. Make a great day!!

Hi Sue and friends,
Sounds like you had a great Valentine's Day, Sue. It is nice to be appreciated and your card and flowers and balloons said it all! Love the singing cards. DH wanted to take me out to dinner but we decided to wait until tonight because today was TOPS for me and WI day. I was up 3/10 or an lb. Don't you hate that? It's okay. The meeting was good, though. The presentations are all led by members and today was a good one on both depression and treating ourselves well. A no nonsense older member who I really like tells it like it is and she's so spot on with her ideas.
The snow is still around but roads are all fine. It is nippy out but pretty.
Have a good day all and I'll check in a little later. Hitting the computer and work now.

Hi friends,
I am having a rough day for a few reasons. My dear friend's time is nearly up - she's the one in hospice car - younger than all of us and when I saw her two weeks ago, we had such a long and meaningful conversation. She was eating well and told me she felt she has time left. Yesterday, her brother told me that hospice called and her passing is imminent. Sad to think I will never see her on this Earth again. Also have a bit of other drama going on...always something right?
Have a good day friends.

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
TGIF! I also went to WI this morning. I was up 2 lbs, but I expected more like 5 lb, so it was a gift.
Had a great day with breakfast with VBF after WW WI and then met a couple of friends from school for lunch. Then I ran errands, including washing my car and filling it with gas, so we're ready for the week-end.
Tonight will be pizza and salad, then a quiet TV night.
BBL. Make a great night!!

Hello friends!
I’m sad to report I am sick again. My doctor is not in the office on Fridays but I was able to see someone else. I tested negative for flu and covid, so it’s either the strep hanging around or a secondary infection. Anyway, more antibiotics. At least I had a few days of feeling better. I had to cancel a hospice visit I had scheduled for today with one of my mom’s former coworkers, which I was reall looking forward to. Hopefully, I’ll be able to see her next week.
Nothing exciting on our agenda. I am so thankful Olga got the house all clean. I would not have had the energy. DH picked up takeout from a local restaurant for our dinner. I had a large baked potato topped with grilled shrimp and cheese. I was only able to eat half. Just haven’t got much appetite.
Sue - Your day spent with friends sounded lovely!
Judy - So sorry to hear about your friend. Goodbyes are hard. I hope your other drama isn’t too serious. I smiled when I received your valentine the other day!
Ann- It was good to see you pop in. You remain in my thoughts and prayers.
