The biggest change has been my sweet tooth is a lot smaller than it was when I started to lose weight. It is much more manageable now. I think because I cut way back on the amount of sugar added foods I was eating. I've also learned to like plainer food without a lot of sugar, fat or salt. I look forward to my plain meals and snacks especially since I don't get much food noise eating this way.

I've made changes in what I eat over the years. When WW first came out with the CORE plan, I really liked the emphasis on whole grains and legumes, along with fruits and vegetables and simple proteins. I'd been reading about this way of eating for a while by then. I didn't follow the CORE plan because I wanted to continue to eat full fat cheese (in small amounts), and low fat rather than 0 fat cottage cheese, and these used too many points. But I did use many of the ideas from that plan, and I still eat that way now - lots of whole grains, legumes, and vegetables. I've since cut out almost all hard cheese and limited my intake of eggs for health reasons. And I eat almost no red meat, and limited poultry. I've also cut out most added sugar, except for very occasional treats. I've been leaning toward eating more whole foods plant based style, and reducing processed foods. Mostly I do this for health reasons, but I also find it easier to eat within my calories or points limits and still feel satisfied.

A number of years ago I did an aerobic exercise DVD a number of days a week and could feel the good impacts of doing it. Now I don't exercise and I've slowed down because of that.

I can see, feel, and use muscles that I've strengthened and increased the mass of since I've been doing strength training with weights. My aerobic activity allows me to have more endurance than I did before regularly engaging in those activities. They also help strengthen my muscles when I run or train on my bicycle trainer. My bone density has stabilized a bit since doing weight bearing exercise. My balance has improved from doing these exercises plus specific balance training.
