Hey all,
Just a quick pop in to say hi. It's President's Day but not a holiday for us at the college. I have a busy day ahead.
I hope everyone had a good weekend.
I started my day with a spinach, tomato and egg omelette in a whole wheat tortilla. I feel satisfied and full. I am having lunch out at a nearby spot with a friend. I'll check out the menu beforehand.
I am down a lb. When I work the plan, it rewards me!

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
We have a beautiful sunny day though it is still quite cool! The sunshine is a welcome addition, though.
We had a fun evening last night and slept very well. I had FF Greek yogurt with blackberries and topped with some Fiber One Original cereal. My aim is to get back on track and get my weight down!
We are on mid-winter break from school, so I have plenty of free time on my hands. I have made our bed and DH cleaned up the kitchen before he left. I have started some laundry, and plan to make a trip to Meijer in a bit. Then I'll laze around some in the afternoon.
BBL. Make a great day!

Good morning all,
I had a good WI today. I am down 2.5 lbs. I am feeling encouraged.
Lunch with my friend was great yesterday. We had a good visit and I had spicy crab sushi for lunch which was delicious. DH is still not up to eating much due to antibiotics so I had a cup of the leftover mac and cheese and a side of veggies. I didn't bother making a big meal. I'll do the fajitas tonight. We had oatmeal for breakfast with some of the farm fresh blueberries today. Amazing how MUCH better they taste than the store variety and how much smaller they are. Direct from Maine and yummy. We will keep up the deiveries once a month. So worth it. They arrived frozen loosely in a big box. Easy to grab the amount just what we need.
I am a bit worried about my DH and his lack of eating. He really has only nibbled on a few things since Friday but says he is doing okay and it'll take time. Like your DH, Pam, he can be stubborn so I hope it is not something else. Always a worry!
Just work on tap for today and then I am going onto campus tomorrow. My friend is still hanging on in hospice but has stopped eating, drinking and waking. Her brother wrote today. I am glad she is passing peacefully and in no pain. I'm so sad. She was so full of life. Even did the Boston Marathon 26 miles long walk for the Jimmy Fund after her diagnosis with a big smile on her face. What an inspiration. THey gave her months to live and she made it 8 years full of positivity and courage and strength. A hero for sure.
Have a great day all and I'll bbl.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Tuesday! Things are quiet around here. We have that beautiful sunshine again and it is such a treat, and the temp is in the low 40's with an expected high of 48! What a treat!!
I got a phone call last night from my VBF's DH to tell me that she is in the hospital following a car accident that they were involved in yesterday. She had multiple injuries and they are awaiting a medical diagnosis. Hopefully it can all be fixed! They were due to leave on a month & a half long trip to Florida with their glamper tomorrow, but that will have to be postponed now. Sad because she was really looking forward to it.
I have been busy with this mid-winter break. Yesterday I did laundry and then grocery shopped at Meijer. I hadn't been in a couple of weeks (2 1/2 to be exact) so I needed a lot. Fortunately, my energy held out and it was a successful trip. Previously I had been limited by my energy and/or pain level, but yesterday was a huge success. DH had told me to just leave the groceries in the car and he would bring them in. I packed all the cold stuff in one bag, so I brought it in first and put it away. Then I brought in one bag at a time and it took the rest of the afternoon, but I got it done. I was glad too because DH got hung up on a job and didn't get home until 7 p.m. and he was beat! We were both glad the groceries were done.
Judy ~ CONGRATS on your 2.5 loss!! That is such a huge victory!
Today I have stripped and remade our bed and washed & dried the sheets; and then cleaned the bathroom including scrubbing the floor. I actually got everything done that I had hoped to with my time off. I am going to get dressed now and go to see VBF at the hospital. That will make a nice afternoon.
BBL. Make a great day!

Sue, so sorry about your VBF but glad she will be okay. Maybe she can head to FL later on. That's a shame, but I suppose it could have been much worse.
My friend is gone. She passed this morning. Yesterday she sent a big bouquet of flowers to all of us at work thanking us for our friendship and letting us know how much we meant to her. Knowing her, she directed her brother to do that - she had everything so well organized and lined up. What a true fighter she was and I will miss her dearly. I can't believe I won't see her on this earth again but knowing she is at peace and was well cared for is a comfort to all of us.
I made the chicken fajitas for lunch. DH still has very little appetite. It's the last day of his antibiotics for the root canal and the erithromycin combined with all the other cocktail of meds he takes upset his stomach and decreased his appetite. He claims he is okay and he does seem a bit better today. The fajitas were great and I'll have another for dinner. He had some of the chicken.
I am off to run a few errands. Glad you did all the grocery shopping, Sue. That's always a relief!
Have a good night!

DARN!
I was at the end of a long post and it poofed! Short version: my covid test on Friday was positive, not negative as I assumed when she called in an antibiotic refill, but the doctor’s office didn’t think it was important enough to leave a message, so I probably infected half the village and all of my family before they called me on Monday to let me know. By then, DH had it, too. I was feeling better by Saturday night and he is starting to feel better, too.
