Bee Keeping your DS and you in my prayers.
Cathy Great plan to balance out yesterdayβs indulgences with an OP βnext dayβ and then bank earned activity points for Sundayβs event.
LaDonna I love almonds, but have not thought to buy any lately. When one of the SP plans encouraged mini meals, almonds plus a fruit, vegetable, or string cheese was one of my favs. MJ Lol. . . Kiddos can surprise you w/ how much they eat. Can imagine how much Pippin liked the romping around the yard with a kiddo. Hope you made progress on all those moving pieces!
Susi Did you wade through the pile of work that stacked up? Hope so. I thought of you when Noel made a huge Greek salad w/ fresh chunks of feta , herbs, and so on. Seemed like something you might create. Looked amazing.

Another fun day in the booksβ we had a dance off in the morning, read most of a birthday book, walked Ruby, and then headed to Noelβs hotel to swim in the pool. lol. . . Avery & I played in the pool for an hour or so. R stayed home w/ Rubi and put together a smorgasbord for dinner, brisket, ribs, baked sweet potato, sweet potato fries, and more! Avery & I had another dance off. I lost even though I fully committed and went to the floor. We are now watching βDespicable Me 2.β Am washing clothes for the crew. They head down to Columbus tomorrow afternoon. Itβs a little helping hand that I can give them. Life is good.

June - Sounds like such a wonderful visit. That salad sounds really good and yes right up my alley LaDonna - Veggies are veggies, don't necessarily need to be green. MJ - Back in my younger days I could outeat a linebacker without gaining an ounce. Oh, for those good old days! Bee - Prayers to you and DS Cathy - Yay on the scale and hot water Ann - Thinking of you, Carl and Benjamin
Boy, the fitting for my sling was COMPLICATED! It's not your old fashioned cloth sling. The profit sharing plan issues stem from her predecessor not leaving detailed notes and the resort industry has lots of "exceptions". With my surgery next Wednesday and my boss being on vacation next week, it makes resolving it more urgent. Leaving shortly for Lily's monthly vet visit and then WW WI. Chiro after work.
S - Usual coffee B - Cheesy spinach scramble L - Open faced tuna melt with tomatoes D - Pizza topped with arugula and balsamic glaze E - Walking and stretching

Good morning, all!
Prayers still going up for those in the path of storms... many, MANY prayers... there are many, MANY storms... and fires, too, that never seem to go away...
Prayers for all our loved ones who are in particular need...

Yesterday I finished updating the second DDR flyer and got both PDFs transmitted to the YM-TO to print. When I checked in with her in the evening, she said that they're in progress; she'll bring them to drill tonight. I worked on other bits and pieces and was just settling in for a nap in the recliner (Toots was napping in bed) when the Kressling wandered in. We lined up details for tonight and for Saturday (YM full-day drill) and then Pippin pulled the "walk me!" game with him, too.
Later in the evening I was speaking with another YM-AV (adult volunteer). We'll pick up her son and take him to drill since she'll probably be late getting out of work. She and I also talked about the cake for Saturday's recruit graduation and the Kressling's honorable discharge ceremony. PRAYER REQUEST: She told me that a 52-yr-old guy died "on the job" yesterday. Warehouse situation, not an accident. He sat down at his desk to report in to her and just faded away (they checked cameras later). Saddest part is that his 20-yr-old son also works there; the young man has some challenges, doesn't drive, and really worked with his dad as a team. So prayers for all the co-workers but especially for his family... πππ
Late-evening messenger post from T: she and V are preparing a Google CGI email for the MB launch campaign that they would like me to review so EC can review it on Saturday. Yup. We're completely disregarding that the product stuff isn't done. Whatever.
I've got a gear list running for tonight's YM drill, and another one for Saturday. Theoretically I'm in pretty good shape. It's 5:25 AM and I'll be going back to bed after I post this (was rolling around so figured I'd use the time wisely but I'm yawning so will take advantage of THAT as well).
Dinner may be chicken casserole or Italian take-away (we'll be feeding the Kressling after drill).
Coffee... β... breakfast...
πππππππππππππππππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππππππππππ

I tiredly walked into the domain of the TB. There was no battle, I am up 11 smidgens.
My sister is not doing good. She doesn't eat, but there are certain things she refuses to do to get better. She is too weak for much company and her son and husband are there, so we came home..
Thanks for the prayers.
For the 2 days we were away I walked over 3,000 steps. I also climbed into my son's big pick-up, which I nicknamed The Mountain, with the help of a stool. But I could get out without the stool.
It was good to be with family, and we took country roads as none of us like interstates - we saw funny sights, friendly sites and unique sites.
Hope ALL has a good day!

π Bee π - sorry to read that your DSis is choosing the path that she is.
In my experience, it's always easier to fall out of a truck than to climb in...

Bee Good that you were able to make the trip and offer your support. Sorry that your sister has a less than optimal attitude. You can see some interesting things on those more leisurely drives on back routes. Although it was unintentional (a goofy GPS detour route) we saw active coal mines in W Va. Had never seen coal shooting out of a mountain into a RR car. The TB didnβt consider that trip. But you know what was what.
Cathy Super! Love it when the body responds so well to zooplankton days. Enjoy the walk/read.
LaDonna Baby Sydney sure has grown! You know how fun babies are at 8 months. So many cute baby smiles, giggles, and cuddles.
Mj Am excited for Kresslingβs big event with the YM. lol. . . No surprise that the cluelessness reigns supreme in LaLaLand where T & MB live. Glad you are taking it in stride and not letting it drive your b9nkers.
Susi I imagine that the sling has to be βjust rightβ to keep that shoulder in the proper placement. Hoping you get all the work stuff hammered into shape.

Will try to check back later. Hard to type with a Boston Terrier draped over my lap. She patiently waited for me while I zipped around the house gathering up Averyβs things & Rubiβs things.
N & her family are having lunch w/ her Dad & his wife.

When I posted in another group yesterday about today's L-T mtg being canceled and the start date for the pre-pre-launch coming up fast, one of my friends commented, "This sounds like it has all the makings of a disaster........ π I hope you have a flack jacket on when it blows." My response was, "I do have popcorn... π₯πΏπ₯. I have a busy week ahead and the weekend - both days - will be jam-packed. Just sayin' π."
The last AI-written missive was torn apart by MB after I polished "what was there" - let's see how this one goes, especially since it's not even supposed to be in MB's "voice" but in that of yet-another entrepreneur, the gal with the massive following who is doing the 3/16 webinar with MB to "open the cart". <meh>.

They changed my sister's port, as they think that is where the pseudomonas originated from. She has now agreed to do something she didn't want to do before, they will do it today or tomorrow. We are all so blessed by her decision.
