Didn't see the thread so thought I'd start one. So far today I have cleaned the freezer in the kitchen. It's a side/side and seems that I put things in there in no specific order and it becomes a mess. Frig needs cleaning too but might not get that done today. Because of the stenosis I can only stand for so long before my back starts to complain and I have to sit and rest it. Any task takes a long time for me.
Woke up at 5 this morning for a trip to the BR and couldn't get back to sleep so I might need a little nap sometime this afternoon. I don't think Ozzie slept very well either because he's been really quiet today. Need to go through my meds to see what needs to be ordered and what to ask the doctor for prescriptions. They sent about 3 weeks worth of meds from the rehab place but some of them are new so will need prescriptions for them. A job I don't like but have to get it done.
My friend Pat got rear ended when she was going to the store this morning. Woman who hit her wasn't paying attention and when she did her she couldn't stop quick enough. I guess she was really nasty when the police came to make the report. Not a whole lot of damage to Pats car but in 70+ years first accident shes ever had. She was a bit shook up but wasn't hurt.
Going to read a bit before I finish my kitchen job. bettyj

Wow it's 4:00 in the afternoon and it just got around to posting here. I decided to go out to lunch with my son today. I've really been in the mood for a tongue sandwich which probably sounds disgusting to most of you but is considered to be a Jewish delicacy.
So we went to the deli and I had my sandwich. When I got to the car I had a flat tire in Decatur light on. If you recall had a flat tire about a month and a half ago and then got another one in exactly the same Tire in exactly the same spot about 2 weeks after that.
We went to lunch anyway and I called my tire guy who was out until after lunch. It was not the tire that had the first flat. It was the other front tire which had a nail in it.
I don't know how my son is managing to get all of these flat tires!
He was able to plug it so it wasn't that big a deal except for the trauma of dealing with it.
My son is currently at Walgreens where he's working until midnight tonight. It's just the dog and me for the remainder of the day which is fine by me.

Shragae, sounds like he passes through a construction area or people having roof work done. Tongue is ok, just tastes like thin tough beef to me.
Betty, so sorry for your friend. Bad enough she got hit by a fool, but nasty too? Sheesh. Take it easy on housework.PT will add to it. When does that start?
Not much sleep last night. I conked out early, but had to take doggie out around 11. She was full of pep and chewed her chew toy for 45 minutes loudly. Then I woke up at 1;30to a strange loud noise but could find nothing. Dog wanted to play ( what the heck?) and then bothered DH and me until I gave her a chicken. Jerky. She was hungry but needed a starter. She is a midnight supper sort. After that she ate the supper kibble and went to sleep. Strangest schnauzer we every had ..#7. Could not sleep because my arthritis and the tendon than runs down the outside of the thought to below the knee kept me up until around five when I took Tylenol and heated up a tube of rice in the microwave to lay along my leg. Thankfully it worked and was ok later in the morning.
Minni had her grooming and is tired. I made a new casserole of beans, tomatoes, tortilla, onion, garlic, spices and sliced eggplant for later. It's a recipe for eight, but you do two dishes and freeze one. It was originally in Diabetic management magazine. www.eatingwell.com/recipe/270564/eggplant-tortilla-casserole/
