Congrats to MJβs dear grandson, Kressling, for his admirable service and leadership to the Woodbridge community and veterans as a Young Marine member.
Personally, knowing that there youths of his caliber fills me with hope for the future.

Good morning, all!
Prayers still going up for those in the path of storms... many, MANY prayers... there are many, MANY storms... and fires, too, that never seem to go away...
Prayers for all our loved ones who are in particular need...
ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅π
Yesterday was a day of YM prep EXCEPT FOR the time I spent in text exchanges with DDIL about going to Woodloch. THAT was time well-spent, even though it put me about 90 minutes "behind" in YM stuff. The Kressling didn't get here until after 9 PM and bedtime was well after midnight.
Today I'm up before the alarm π§. Muster is at 8 AM so there's a bit of wiggle room but we didn't get any pre-loading of GracieTOO done last night so there's that. It will be a VERY busy YM drill day.
Coffee... β... morning prayer...
πππππππππππππππππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππππππππππ
MauiπΊBoy & T (and V): They FINALLY answered the questions I sent at 7 PM Thursday at 2:30 PM on Friday. By then I was completely immersed in YM prep and family Woodloch discussions. I don't think that V knows what instructions T gave me; her response was not congruent with what I'd been told about her focus on JW-parameters. I didn't touch any MB files. The earliest that I can get to them will be after YM drill today - perhaps around 4 PM my time. Maybe. Not taking any bets.

Good morning, Friday got away from me as I worked til 2 then left early to go see about my arm/elbow. They gave me a cortisone shop at the walk in orthopedic clinic in Cola. Its feeling better and hopefully even more so over the next 24-48 hrs. Also got an anti inflammatory med to take as needed. I did not eat very OP yesterday but plan to remedy that today. Randy and I are attending an oyster roast this evening and B/L is tbd.
June, I'm so glad R's hand is ok. MJ, Have a wonderful day with your YM and family!
BBL...after coffee got a lot of chores to accomplish and see what my gbaby is up to today...hope to sneak in a visit

Good Morning. Here to update everyone on my son Mike.
Yesterday my oldest son, Mike, put himself on hospice. He has fought 4 cancers in 12 years. This last chemo is not working. Please keep he and his wife Theresa in your prayers.
Thanks for all the prayers.

MJ Wishing you a great day as your YM activities unfoldβ hopefully as planned! Enjoy the ceremonies, esp. Kresslingβs special moment. Nice to get some Woodloch planning accomplished. βMaybe or maybe notβ designation for the MB stuff sounds about right.
LaDonna Sure do hope you are able to have a quick snuggle with Renee. Just thinking of all those cuddles and smiles makes my heart happy for you. Good to hear that the cortisone shot is helping. Hope it speeds up the healing in your elbow. Enjoy the oyster roast.

<<<Bee>>> Lots of prayers and comfort to you all
Midnight's vet visit was not very illuminating. We will continue with the one food and an over the counter product for another month. If that doesn't help, we will switch her food to another that seems to help with food allergies, if that's what it is. Last stop would be a dermatologist. Great. Lily has an oncologiest, Jack has a cardiologist and now Midnight might need a dermatologist? Oh, and Jack chewed through the router wire yet again. The new one is as well wrapped as I can make it in cardboard.
More later

Susi Itβs a bit overwhelming when you list each pet and their medical professionals. Pet health care has certainly expanded over the years. I have mixed feelings on the subject. Itβs great that medical treatment & pet products have advanced & expanded, but it seems extremely expensive. N dropped at least $250- $300 on Rubi this past week: food, treat, 2 chew toys, biodegradable waste bags, & meds.
Dangβ what the heck is Jackβs attraction to that wire?

He stopped chewing for a number of years but started back about 2 years ago. He also killed the roku but I don't care since I have never used it (and it was free). Don't know why. Yes, so far this year I've spent about $3500 on the three of them for various reasons. That does include food.

Thanks, June did not get to see her today but tomorrow for sure.
Susi, wow on the expenses being that much and its only February. you take such good care of them. hope their medical will ease up for you.
Randy and I did some house chores which are still in progress...laundry for one. Then we rode to town and had lunch at Longhorns. They have a fantastic salad with grilled chicken fresh fruit and balsamic dsg. I had that along with a small bowl of shrimp/lobster bisque soup. Lunch special for 9.99. Randy had a steak. Oyster roast later but most likely wont eat too much there. Its a big gathering with a lot of attendees raising memorial money for a scholarship to a neighboring school district. We mainly bought two tickets to support the cause since the roast is in honor of my last cousin Lisa Rucker. Her brother and his wife head this up every year.

Okay dokey Spent much of the day shifting through a large number files transferred from my two remaining filing cabinets to 7 cardboard boxes. Goodness! I am now down to 4 bankerβs boxes, and that is including my school files. R had another large garbage bag of papers to burn today. I want to whittle down my files a bit further this week. Then I will decide if I will keep 1 filing cabinet in the cellar or not.
