Good morning, all!
Prayers still going up for those in the path of storms... many, MANY prayers... there are many, MANY storms... and fires, too, that never seem to go away...
Prayers for all our loved ones who are in particular need... especially our dear Bee's son, Mike...

ππ₯³ YESTERDAY was the Mouseketeer's 13th birthday! ππ₯³π TODAY is the Kress MousekeParty. ππ₯³π HERE, at 2 PM. π₯³π
My front room is a disaster! The focus this morning will be reddingUP for the gathering this afternoon. YES, THIS AFTERNOON. Toots & I are NOT responsible for any of the party stuff. We are providing the space so that Hazel the Hound can also attend. If it was a summer party, we'd be at the MousekeHouse but all-indoor means here, to accommodate both doggos.
Yesterday's drill had too much stuff in it, which we knew right from the beginning. But 99% of it got done. The mayor attended. He's usually a drop-in-and-dash but he stayed for the WHOLE THING and we even got him to take a picture with our Woodbridge Township Have-A-Heart 214 Challenge; we'll send that off to his office so he can post it on FB, as he does with all the schools that participate. All that food (well, except for the cereal that I could leave in the car in below-32* temps) is in the front room; I will need to do a really, REALLY quick sort-and-tally. Rice and pasta can go out into GracieTOO but not the cans/bottles that would freeze - they will be stacked in a corner until Tues/Weds-ish (must call "our guy" at the Health Office who coordinates).
Ah... the tale of the Honorable Discharge... that will have to wait until later. It went well. VERY well.
Coffee... β... morning prayer in a sunbeam... last night's prayer was under the Snow Moon, the full moon for February...
πππππππππππππππππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππππππππππ

Update on my sister - The report last night is that Cathy is better. BUT because her BP fluctuates so much, she will be in ICU until she goes home. None of the floors want to take her as if it fluctuates, they would have to send her back to ICU.
Yesterday she was only on a pill to raise the BP, not an IV drip.
My niece brought her some licorice tea as licorice raises the BP.
They are hoping to send her home Thursday, as of yesterday.
Thanks for prayers.
All is well in Beeville.

About to pick up Haley and the baby and head to church. I have taco soup and cornbread ready for our lunch. The oyster roast and memorial fundraiser had to be a great success. It was a HUGE crowd and lots of hello's to people I'd not seen in a long while. I am so very thankful today that my arm is no longer throbbing day and night. Friday I was almost in tears as I headed out the door to work and now I feel as if I'm walking on sunshine LOL. Praying you all have a wonderful, healthy and productive day...I've read but I am going to scoot for now...love and prayers to all!
