This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning and happy Sunday!
Yes, I did get to the gym yesterday and it was a good workout with a bit of a spooky surprise. Haha! So, since they started issuing the key fobs back in the fall which gave key fob carriers 24 hour access, they saw a big increase in their electric bill from keeping all of the lights on all of the time and decided that putting the lights on motion sensors and timers might help alleviate some of that expense.
So when I got there the whole place was dark. As soon and I swiped my fob and opened the front door the upstairs lit up. Cool. I signed in and when I went to the stairwell, I could see that the basement was completely dark. When I hit the 2nd step, the basement automatically illuminated. Cool. When I was basically upside down in the floor on the leg press, the lights behind me timed out and the other side of the room went dark. SPOOOOOOKY! Hahaha! Apparently, my movement on the leg press is not enough to trigger those sensors. So I calmed my heart and finished my leg press work and as soon as I stoop up we had lights again. But I'm not going to lie, my heart & likely a whole bunch of adrenaline was pumping pretty hard for a minute. But, now I know to expect that might happen if I'm there alone. In hindsight, it's pretty funny.
Anyway, just normal Sunday stuff here I suppose. I hope you all are having a lovely weekend and have some favorable weather for whatever it is you want to get into.

Hi Everyone,
Just a usual Sunday. Went to the gym ( sans spooky though), went to Walmart to see about exchanging a bra for another size which they only had in black and I didn't want black so returned it. After that my usual food shopping which I could have done yesterday but decided not to. After lunch I took a quick run to the nearest dollar store but they were closed for renovation so went to the next closest one and got most of what I wanted. Now home with Cassie about to read. I bought some thighs for dinner that I will make in a while. It's very easy preparation with mixing a bit of the powdered onion mix soup, French dressing and some apricot preserves mixed all together basting it on the chicken.
As I was driving to my different places the car isn't squealing like it has been doing all along. That's been since the last time when they supposedly checked it out again. Have a nice day. I hope the weather is nice where you are. It's chilly but sunny.

Hello All - went to church, then DH and I went out for breakfast. We took pics of my old car that we are going to sell privately and I finished my book (which is overdue at the library so I will return it tomorrow).
Lora - oh man, I would have been scared to death! At least you know what to expect now.
Janet - Glad the car isn't squealing. The chicken sounds very yummy.
Waving to everyone...

Hi again! Janet - so glad you got the squeaking resolved. I know that kind of thing is both annoying as well as worrisome. Susie - I'm totally laughing at myself now, but my initial response was definitely a split second of freezing followed quickly by a move to get the heck out of there. Lol. Two other ladies were coming in as I was leaving, so I gave them a heads up, as well as a good laugh. It's been pretty quiet around here today. I got up this morning and replaced the little bulbs in the license plate lights on DHs SUV. I guess those are the kinds of things you don't realize are out until the police pull you over...Haha! Yes, he got pulled over the other night on his way home, but no ticket was written, but definitely something we needed to get handled. We pass an Auto Zone on the way home from the gym, so picked up the little bulbs yesterday. We're pretty much just taking it easy today, although I do plan to start some laundry and such. Really, just a quiet day around here.
