Linda, I hope you and Bob got some sleep and his back is doing better.
Karen, you were really busy yesterday. I hope you’re not feeling it today especially since you’ll be doing greenhouse work.
Kathy, I hope you’re having a good day.
Iggy did some yard work while I was at the grocery and hurt his back again. I told him he needs to do a warmup before he starts gardening. You can’t go from doing almost nothing all winter to all day gardening and not suffer the consequences.
I continue to get my steps and do stretches and strength exercises. Weight loss has stalled but I am not going to worry about that for now. I just want to continue to get more energy and a feeling of well being.

Good for you, Chele. Sigh. It does not take much garden work to do that.
We managed to sleep until 8. Dog did not want to get out the cocoon she had made in her bed. She got her walk just before the monster came along and picked up the recycling. got DH to blood test. Fingers crossed.
he is doing ok if he keeps up the meds. Not doing any bending, driving, or lifting anything over two pounds. Gallon of water..nope.
I am puttering. Cleaned up a small part of garage to get to my box of frames. Leaned up the freezer to find the beef for the beef and bok choy stir fry tonight. Used furniture crayons to fix a frame and got picture of the four of us from October in it, then small nicks in edges of dining table leaf. Was going to block off dog and spackle a couple places in doorway, but both tubs were concrete.
Tried Goo Be gone on small spot of duct tape stuff left on floor where we kept Minni off a lamp wire…nope, and petroleum licked up is not good for dog. Cleaned it up and resorted to carefully used razor blade scraper like I do to get hard water off window. Easy..gone immediately off Pergo.
BTW, Bon Ami cleanser since 1880 will easily take hard water leavings of glass. So no scraper next time. I need to do that to the yard fountain.
who knows what exciting things I may still find to do?

Karen, thanks for the start. We had similar weather yesterday, but we're warming up to 80 today. I don't have the temperature on my Garmin (or don't know where it is!), so I haven't noticed any issues with that. Otherwise, I like it. It's less clunky than my FitBit and the battery lasts a little over a week which is a big improvement. I feel your frustration with the printer! I like mine, but it goes through ink like crazy and it's almost cheaper to just buy a new printer instead of new ink. Hope the greenhouse work went well.
Chele, we really are the eye drop queens! Our pollen count is high right now and I've really been feeling it in my eyes and sinuses the past few days. I actually haven't seen DeSantis on the news as much here, but he's hard to avoid completely when he's the governor. His last term will be over this year and maybe he'll slink away into obscurity. I'm hoping Rick Scott will be defeated. He barely won last time and he isn't real popular, so there is hope. I'm not surprised things will be crazy there with the eclipse. I don't think we'll be getting much of the eclipse here this time. Good advice on doing some stretching before gardening. That's a tough activity on the back. You are doing great with the activity and the weight loss will follow.
Linda, glad you got to sleep in a bit. I need to try out that Bon Ami cleanser since we have hard water here.

Linda, I know that was a major relief on Bob's trip to the doctor. I hope he will be compliant with his restrictions and meds. I hope you enjoyed the puttering. Sounds like you were working through all those little things that don't take much time so they don't make it to the top of the list. LOL on Minni in her little cocoon sleeping late.
Uh-oh on Iggy's back, Chele. He definitely needs to stretch and warm up. That going zero to sixty after not gardening all winter usually does not go well. Good job on keeping up with your steps and the rest of your fitness regimen. Your body is probably doing a bit of a reset and you may be building muscle, which weighs more than fat. I was feeling it yesterday and wasn't in the best frame of mind anyway, so that didn't help. I was feeling better today and went to the greenhouse to help with transplanting. We got a lot done. Grow lights were installed a few weeks ago and they are really making a difference in how well the plants are growing this year. We transplanted several flats of cabbage, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli for the cool weather crop sale the middle of next month, plus we have beets, kale, bok choi, and several greens that we will have ready for that sale. We are almost filled to overflowing in the greenhouse right now but things look really good. There is something about the floor in the greenhouse that always aggravates my leg. So it's a bit sore. My lower back is also reacting to the bending I did. Hopefully I can work through that in iTone tomorrow.
Kathy, we were in the 70s today, but with clouds and occasional rain or it might have been warmer. We'll be in the 70s with rain tomorrow and then a cold front. Your Garmin is doing well on charge. I typically have to charge mine every 4 or 5 days (it's on charge at the moment). I play music on mine, plus individually timing every workout I do, so it drains the battery faster. I know what you mean about buying ink vs. a new printer, especially if you buy the high yield cartridges. I use mine more to scan than to print and typically only print grayscale. I needed a few documents for the greenhouse today and just turned them into Adobe docs and saved them to Dropbox so I could view them on my phone, rather than face the frustration of trying to print them out to take with me. I guess DeSantis will get a high-paying job at a law firm defending the right-wing crowd and will never be seen in public again. You can hope. Any idea who might run for governor next time?
After working at the greenhouse, I made a stop at TJ Maxx on my way home. I killed my 20 year old Cuisinart personal blender about a month ago, and the renters at the other house had abandoned a Farberware one that Dale brought home and I put into service but hated. I found a nice Nutribullet at a good price that followed me home. The motor is even more powerful than my old Cuisinart. I probably won't have a chance to use it until Friday though. I also found a few nice storage jars, and several other little things. It was a productive trip but I was really tired when I got home. I don't have much on tomorrow's schedule except for iTone, but sometimes that's enough.
