This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning.
Just popping in to get us started. Looks like an overcast and dreary day here with possible rain later. In fact, most of the week looks to be somewhat drippy. Yuck. Oh well. I guess it's just that time of year.

Good morning and happy Tuesday.
I took a 1/2 day vacation yesterday and met an old friend for lunch. It was delightful. It was good to be away from sick people and work people. We laughed and just really enjoyed ourselves. I think I just needed the time to decompress because I am in a much, much better mood now.
I STILL can't hear out of my left ear and I am afraid a follow up appointment is going to be necessary. I have done everything I can think of. The dr. assured me it was not waxy build up - and I have even tried the ear wax removal drops and a hot shower with warm water concentrated on the left side.
Yesterday Zeke started limping on his "good" leg - not the one we just paid $5K to have fixed. They warned us that lots of dogs usually end up tearing the other ACL - I don't know where that $ is going to come from but we are going to need to figure that out.

Well, I got my gym trip out of the way then came home and did some lifting and organizing stuff here. Still a few more things on the list for today, but those require me getting out the tall step ladder...light bulb replacements, etc. After that I'm going to make myself a cup of coffee and sit down for a few minutes and maybe watch a little guilty pleasure type TV. Haha! Jana - Oh good! So glad to hear you're feeling better. Sorry about your ear. My left ear stopped on the plan down to Miami and stayed "closed up" until like day 5 or 6 of the cruise. It finally cleared just in time to hop back on more planes home. Of course it plugged up again, luckily it opened after a couple of days. I feel like mine pop open and closed constantly. You'd think as much as I'm up and down the mountain, they'd be used to it by now...but nope. That would just be too easy. It's possible that with all of that congestion and such you just have fluid build up or even and ear infection, but of course you'd need the doc to take a look to know for sure.. Well, I'm off to grab the gorilla ladder so I can get these bulbs changed and then get on with my coffee and relaxing.  |

Hello All - this morning was my tap dancing class, then my history class. Next up was bridge and then line dancing. I decided not to go to anything this evening with the rain and everything else that was going on today. Tomorrow is gym class, Bible study, mah jongg, and Bunco.
Jana - sorry about the ear and Zeke's issue, but glad you had a nice lunch with your friend.
Lora - hope you had a successful day getting things done on your list.
Waving to everyone...have a migraine aura so I am off to bed.
