Susi Sending you the biggest warmest hug. Praying for you.
MJ That was a big surprise for your DGD. lol. . . I would do the same.π Sometimes you need to have a good snit, and then move forward. mB & T. Ring MB & T, you might need to add an adult beverage with that popcorn.
LaDonna Renee is adorable. She could model baby clothes. The lunch kits sound tasty, filling, different, and easy. Great idea!
Bee Glad that all is flowing smoothly in Beeville.
waving hi to Cathy & Ann

Killing time until I leave for the hospital. I'm having her drop me off at 10 so she doesn't miss that much work. Isabella is all set up for Lily and the cats. And I'm ready for a nap. LOL
I'll check back in when I can.

Good morning, all!
Prayers still going up for those in the path of storms... many, MANY prayers... there are many, MANY storms... and fires, too, that never seem to go away...
Prayers for all our loved ones who are in particular need... and for Susi for successful surgery and uneventful and speedy recovery...

Yesterday was a bit of this and a bit of that. My GF from YM, whose Baker's cyst is really acting up, dropped off what she didn't get to bring on Saturday. She was on her way to her GGD's IEP meeting at the middle school. That situation just gets worse and worse, with Nyelah's mom expecting again and the child wanting nothing more than for her mom to change so she can go live with her mom and other two sisters (and the next one). Prayers continue there.
After that, Toots & I took Pippin to Animal Crackers to get his chow. He got to meet a small poodle and a huge chocolate Lab in the parking lot (two separate encounters). Everyone was friendly - always a good thing! I worked my way through yesterday's List <-capital L and set up today's as well. In the evening I again sat and worked on the afghan, deciding that I'd stick to a repeating rather than a random striping pattern.
No sunbeams this morning. Supposed to rain on and off all day. I'll postpone the food pantry drop-off since the YM who would accompany Kressling & me ("passing the symbolic 'spaghetti box baton'") was sick on Saturday and is still not 100%. Waiting another week won't make a big difference; the pantry's loaded with all the stuff from the schools so it will give them a week to break down all the grocery bags of miscellaneous (our stuff comes in all boxed up and "sorted by type" - we are, after all, the Young Marines).
I got up early to go for bloodwork but when I looked at the script it has the notation "mid-March" - reminding me that it's an extended wait since the dermaDoc is stretching out the time between my appts. Well, I got up early because I got up early, not by alarm clock, so no harm no foul. Good thing that I looked at the script before I got all ready to go out the door.
I've got today's list <-lower case and it seems somewhat short <jinx><jinx>. I am definitely suspicious. Let's see what kind of trubble I can get into today.
Coffee... βββ... morning prayer...
πππππππππππππππππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππππππππππ

Susi, keeping the whole team touching you in prayer.
After lunch Sunday at Son's I lost the upward battle and TB knew it. He just leaned against the door frame and smiled. I was up 2 smidgens.
I talked to my sister and she sounded stronger yesterday afternoon. PT did get her out of bed and she did some side steps.
Mike's oncologist is trying to talk him into more chemo. Either way he tells him without 6 months, with maybe a year.
Off to lunch today just not sure yet where.
Keeping all in prayer.
No time to read the posts I overslept.

Susi Have been sending lots of positivity and prayer your way. Hugs β€οΈ
Bee I cannot imagine being faced with Mikeβs decision. Am offering prayers for him, his dear Momma, and other loved ones. I honestly cannot say what I would do in a similar situation. The TB sure does like to βweigh inβ with any minor changes. It wonβt be victorious for long.
MJ Adding my prayers for Nyleah & her DG. Those kind of family situations are just so heartbreaking. I shudder to think of the trauma that my Ladd nephew, A, and SO have inflicted on their two children. Nephew checked out of alcohol rehab, did what those battling alcoholism do, and is back in rehab. All I can do is pray. Great effort tackling your super-sized and regular-sized lists. Nice that you caught the change in RX lab work before leaving the house. Of course the YMβs donation is in tip top shape for inputting. Bless you all for the generosity of your time, energy, and money.

Hey Friends,
Not a lot of anything "new" to tell - Just KOKO - I have been craving some roasted salmon tonight with vegetables.
June, your house sounds so organized! You have been an inspiration to me but I'm just doing a little by little.
Susi, sending prayers for complete healing and a successful surgery today.
MJ, love the name animal crackers for the dog food venue Hope the YM is better soon and glad you noticed the date on the order before heading out.
Bee, what a hard decision to face for Mike. Nice to hear Sis is doing a bit better. Enjoy your lunch.
Cathy, hope you are having a good week.
Ann, hope you, Carl and Benjamin are will.

Internet this week has been missing or spotty so am writing a quick note today. Went to the bank to get accounts highest balance in 2023 to fill out online forms for the IRS-FATCA/FBAR forms for foreign banking and bought manoosh for lunch. Have skimmed but will do personals another day.
