Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Joyce, I hope you are having a good day at work and enough work to keep you busy.
Ruth, one of the problems with a virus like covid, flu or other viruses is that the person who has the virus but no symptoms yet is contagious. So that is one reason they can spread so quickly. I hope Stan is feeling better. Any sales?
I did most of my packing today so will finish it up tomorrow morning. Tomorrow I plan on changing the sheets and by evening I will wash a load of dark and a load of towels, I like coming home to everything clean since I’ll have lots of laundry to do. We are heading out to dinner with some friends tonight and then back to their condo to play cards.

(((Hugs))) Update on farro: recipe was good. However, way too many carbs. I'll make it again and just be careful with portions. Made it to ww wi/mtg. Stayed the same. After a 2# plus loss from week before, not surprised. Before I left to do groc shop, it was snowing but not sticking. I was glad to get home - it's warm inside and I'm not going out again today. Finished farro fir bfast and finished off ratatouille with eggs for lunch. Dinner is pizza. (((Hugs))) Stay warm & and safe!!

Good evening all. Stan is feeling better today. Stomach issues seem to be over. Still some leftover issues overnight and I came out and slept in my recliner. About 6 I went back to bed and woke up about 9:00. Let him seep until after 10 and then got him up.
We ran errands this afternoon after doing a few chores this am. Realized when we were on the road that we needed gas so ran to Sam’s club because it was cheaper. Then to DS’s to drop off some stuff for Mara and picked up some laundry to do for her. Then I did a return to Old Navy and tried to do one at UPS but they closed at 3:00 and it was 4 when we got there. They are bringing Mara out for a couple hours tomorrow while they go to a movie to celebrate DS’s job. Going to a theater near us so we’re handy. And Mara hasn’t been here in a while.
Yeah, viruses are hard. And they are starting to treat Covid like they do the regular flu and no more restrictions on staying home or masking up or anything. Even though it’s way more contagious and all. I asked Stan about testing but he declined. I can’t make him. I’m beginning to think he’s had PD longer than the last 6 mo or so, possibly 2 or 3 years even. Some of the symptoms it’s hard to distinguish between age and PD.
No sales yet. Sure wish stuff would go. I really wish I had more energy to get more stuff listed and more stuff just gone but my get up and go got up and went. Hoping when we get back from vacation I can get moving. Older DD is coming for a few days end of March and she’s great help. Maybe that can be my motivation.
Watching hockey now while I do laundry. I have a few more chores to do while I watch also. And we stopped to get cash out or the trip and I looked at the bank balance and was shocked. The federal tax refund went in today. Nothing yet from insurance refund but I’ll take the federal.
Ok, will try to get here tomorrow. Dottie enjoy your evening out. Hope Joy had a good day at work and hope Martha is doing well.

Good Sunday morning,
Work was very slow yesterday. I had enough to keep me busy until lunch, that’s pretty much normal.
It’s 44*, heading to 60 today. Tomorrow we might actually hit 70*. Temps will stay warmer than usual all week.
Today is sweater laundry day. I’ll do it in 2 loads. Hoping to get to the Y later this afternoon.
Martha - keep up the good work. I need to get back to focusing on my eating so I can start losing again.
Enjoy your day. See ya tomorrow

Joyce, sorry to hear that yesterday was a slow day at work. Can you use the internet while at work?
Martha, sounds like you are enjoying your meals.
Ruth, that’s good that you got your federal refund. As you mentioned you think Stan had the PD longer than the last 6 months, I’m sure some of the symptoms were there but probably mild and not as often so that makes sense that he might have had the PD for 2 to 3 years.
I did the sheets this morning and also finished packing except for some things that will go in my little beach bag that I’ll keep with me. I still need to pitch some things from the fridge, will do that later this afternoon and take everything out to the trash after dinner.

I have a load of towels in the dryer and when they are dried I'll fold them and put them away and head to bed. We plan on leaving around 8 tomorrow morning. We are supposed to have WiFi on the ship but most people say that the connection isn't very good so doubt if I'll be able to post. Take care and will be back on around the 14th.
