Chele, I hope your weather has been as nice as ours today. We're talking car windows and sunroof open/shorts weather. I ate lunch on the deck and soaked up as much Vitamin D as I could. How did Iggy's appointment go? Does he like the new chiro? Did he get instant relief?
We're in the 70s, Kathy. Where are you? Any activity at the pond? I hope you aren't having wildfires yet. Have you heard if your Philly aunt has recovered from covid? What has DM been up to lately?
Linda, how are you feeling? Does Bob seem to be in less pain? Do you have outdoor work planned for today? Did you get all those plants you bought in the ground or containers?
Class was tough today, but in a good way. Regular instructor was there and she's on the schedule for the entire month (I checked). I was talking to the young lady who left class early with the substitute instructor and she has lost 21 lbs since the first of the year. She says she can move so much better. I'm happy she is doing so well and gave her some encouragement to keep it going. After class I went to REI shoe shopping. I was looking at a pair online and hoped they would have them in my size, which they did. I'm glad I didn't get them online because I wasn't crazy about the fit or feel. I did find another brand that I liked and bought them for Dale to give me for my birthday. So for the next couple of months I'll wear the ones I have been wearing in iTone, which is fine. They are the ones I wear to the gym in the summer when I'm in sandals (which aren't gym legal). The fruit trees are starting to leaf out, so I hope we don't get a freeze. We haven't had any fruit from most of them since we planted them.

.I start with get up and go after coffee, but these days with miss butt head dog not pooping in the yard because she wants to do it on the walk, that is my first duty. DH had become better and was doing that on short walk, but his back injury is not happy. Currently everything is on me. Dog and I both need that exercise with a longer walk (not anyone's definition of long). When we get back, I have to rest a while.
My days are programmed by I have a list. What should I do first if I have too much pain to do more? Then what if I. An do more, etc. Some days the gods of tasks are in the prank mood.
So today I was to rest at the desk after putting my sheets into washer. would you believe the clean sheets had only one sheet and no idea where the other is? I gave up looking and got another set on the bed. you know I am going to sit on a stool and clean out that linen cabinet…
Deskwork ok until I went to renew car registration online and the site malfunctioned first refusing my password. Got that changed with two verification codes on two devices. Then it all timeds out and I had to do it allover.
So it was noon by the time I got to the kitchen with DH wanting lunch. Cake is finally in the oven! It say pour the batter…uh. Too thick and sticky. Sometimes they translate wrong. I hope not. But pictures on several sites show it more like bars than cake. One layer in in 9x13 pan. I make half in an 8x8.
This is an online recipe pretty much like it.
