Susi Marvelous to hear how well you are doing! Bet that the surgeon will be very pleased at your post-op check up. Glad that Lily is able to walk with you while you recuperate. How kind of your gym friends. π
Not sure if I would go to Lily Dale or Cassagada. But I have met a medium who has a 50-year association with Lily Dale. His grandmother was a registered medium there. She taught him. We had an interesting conversation. MJ Feel free to munch on any fun snack and observe the fallout of previous decisions of T and MB. lol. . . Limiting your role in the damage control is reasonable. They may learn something. . . Perfect timing at ShopRite. Love to be on hand when the bargains are being displayed. Nice to have a visitor who wants to play w/ Pippin and visit with you.
LaDonna Sounds like Lakenβs house will soon be occupied! Good neighbors are a blessing. Glad that Randy can take care of those tasks. Sure does save a lot of $$! Will be a big change in all of your lives. But what a happy & exciting time for youβ a grand daughter, a wedding, a successful surgery & recovery for Randy, and a new home for Laken!
Cathy Sorry that your deep sleep made Mounah worry. It is sweet though that he cares so much. Could you print out a whole year, but would start it this date and revise the first yearβs date? In my mind the year could be from March 5 2024 to March 5 2025. It could work out just fine. Sorry that the HealiApp is wonky.

It's pouring rain so no walk this morning. I.. could barely get Lily to go out. Spoke with my cousin about Easter Saturday. Final decision will be made after I know my progress tomorrow but plan to go ahead with extra help and scale back my end. Working on my plan for the day including salmon
June - Hope you find the right paint and enjoy your leftovers

Susi Feels like you are right on target in your recuperation. Seems like Easter is rapidly approaching. Bet everyone would be happy to adjust the menu and/or help.
Thx. I can always default to a black, industrial high heat paint. I know what R & Marty use. But I am hoping to get something with a bit of character.

Good morning, all!
Prayers still going up for those in the path of storms... many, MANY prayers... there are many, MANY storms... and fires, too, that never seem to go away...
Prayers for all our loved ones who are in particular need... especially Susi and Ann...

Yesterday got sunny! And when MissMouse's tires arrived at Firestone earlier than expected, I offered to pick her up so she could drop off her car and come her to <ahem> walk Pippin. So I got to spend time with her and be out in the sunshine as well (due to end-of-school-day timing, I got to see both Mice as well). The only speed bump was that I never had my lunch - but MissMouse shared her Sam's Club salad with me (spinach, feta, craisins, blueberries, walnuts) so I was able, when I finally got home, to wait and just have dinner.
For dinner we enjoyed meatballs and stuffed shells from our ShopRite run. We watched the end of the NASCAR Cup series race last night "so we can say we did" and then some random TV until bedtime.
Today I have a decent-sized list. Some are phone calls. A couple of things are out-of-house. One is ESSENTIAL: Toots finally got the grand jury summons questionnaire and we need to get it back in the mail to the courthouse. He used to like going to jury duty but this is grand jury and via Zoom. His hearing loss plus his unfamiliarity with Zoom puts the kibosh on it now. UPDATED TO ADD: I just called them and I can email a PDF so we don't have to worry about the USPS delivery time ππ. I scanned the file yesterday so all I need to do is combine the two pages and email them.
Haircut is also on my list; let's see if I can get an appointment since I don't just want to walk in.
Coffee... βββ... morning prayer...
πππππππππππππππππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππππππππππ
MπΊB & T: MB is sick - he has a cold. He let T know that he was canceling his regular Tuesday "live session" and notice was sent out last night via email and posted in FB (THAT person made it sound like he's at death's door: "I regret to inform you... incapacitated... a substitute offering is not possible at this short notice." D@ng, lady - he's got a cold. And one NEVER suggests that any kind of backup 'wasn't possible' - that's TMI about "back office procedure". Just say it's canceled and be done with it (NOTE: when we know in advance that he's not going to be there, there is a plan for a session with a volunteer facilitator - but no one was available this time). However, based on his FB posts I do think he's "taking it easy" and not using the time for prep on all the things still not done π§ππ€π€£. Meanwhile, T is "so tired" as she messaged me last night. Historically, she makes a LOT of mistakes when she's tired. This morning I'm sipping coffee (it's too early for popcorn).

I can always default to a black, industrial high heat paint. I know what R & Marty use. But I am hoping to get something with a bit of character. Maybe they make a bronze high-heat - sounds like it would go well with the rest of your color scheme.

Good morning all Another beautiful day here - A dear friends husband is having bypass surgery tomorrow so I want to connect with her and give my support. B was applesauce and graham crackers. Lunch is salad and dinner will be salmon, brussels, and quinoa. Laken and I discussed last nt
June, Yes lots of wonder things going on and I am thankful Renee slept thru my visit with her last night. She seemed so tired. She loafs all the time so I guess she needed to catch up on rest. enjoy your warm day and researching paint.
Susi, planning to scale back sounds smart. So many options no need to over extend yourself.
MJ, early popcorn may be in order after coffee LOL hope you get the hair appt made.

MJ Hanging out with MissMouse plus seeing the Mice would make a. Wry pleasant day. Nice that you could share that salad and that your SRite find was a quick, tasty dinner. Am sure that Pippin loved the walk/visit as much as MissMouse did. Hmmm. . . a delayed launch. . . am not surprised. Stress weakens the immune system. Just saying. In the future, plz feel free to substitute a piece of toast for popcorn for early morning events. lol. . . Am just thinking that there are round & round lap plus a βcrash and burnβ quality to MBβs projects that echo NASCAR events. I had a Chair who thought anyone who was a systematic planner was βoff.β She prided herself in working best under pressure. One day, I just couldnβt hold back. I asked her how she could make that determination when she always did everything last minute. And I mean everything. I kid you notβ she was physically gathering materials for her promotion interview about 10 mins. before her appt. across campus.
Glad that you could quickly process the jury duty paperwork. π
LaDonna Will add your coworker & her DH to my prayers. Did I read that rightβ you kept Renee overnight? Big milestone. π Hope your work day goes well.

Paint decision was made pretty easily. While the oil rubbed bronze by Rust-oleum had a bit of punch, it is not as heat resistant as I would prefer. Went w/ R to S Williamsβ storeβ it had twoβcount βemβ two options, both were high gloss finish. Travelled to HDepot next, went with my first thoughtβ a high heat, black enamel paint in a satin finish. lol. . . Encouraged R to get M to undertake painting the fireplace screen & vents, since painting is his thing. Hope M does. If all goes well, then I may also ask if he can paint the lamps.
Time to get some cleaning accomplished.

June, No I wish! I went by their house to visit after work - even took a new book to read. She was very tired when I got there I could see it in her eyes. I got her in my arms and she laid across my shoulder and went to sleep. I later repositioned her to laying where I could see her face while she slept. Then I laid her on the couch beside me where she continued to sleep. After 2 hour I decided to go home since it did not look like she'd awaken anytime soon. Anyway, it was fun just watching her sleep and making little noises. I visited with Haley and my son until he went to sleep as well while laid back in the recliner LOL.
The high heat option would have won my vote also. Yes, if M can paint for you let him - yall need a break Mike is the name of my friend having bypass tomorrow. Thank you.
