Chele, thanks for the start. Hope Iggy's back is doing better. Are you getting spring weather? One of our weather guys said he thinks we're skipping spring. It's supposed to get to 87° this weekend. I'm not ready for that.
Karen, glad your regular instructor is back. The pond has been quiet lately, but I hear a lot of songbirds out there. I haven't heard anything about wildfires in the area. I think it's been too wet for that.
Linda, how did the cake come out? Looks good.

Linda, online issues are no joke. How did the cake turn out? Were you able to take Minni on a longer walk?
Kathy, I wondered if you were going to be really warm since up north we are so warm already. Iggy is a little better. More on that below.
Karen, I’m glad your regular instructor was back. We’re supposed to be getting an REI store around here but it hasn’t opened yet. I loved it when I went in Portland. Good thing you tried the shoes on. I hope you have better luck this year with your fruit trees. Iggy started another lemon tree. It is still in the seed sprouting stage. I don’t want it. I hated it in the house.
This morning when I went to Kroger it was mostly sunny. By 10 am we had a thunderstorm. The rain lasted until about noon a day it was a hard rain. It’s warm so it’s not too bad. We have reached our high of 67°. Yesterday was sunny and 73° and, of course, I had a migraine.
Iggy is just okay with the new chiropractor, but he called the old office today just because he wasn’t thrilled and talked to someone who said the sign on their door was just for the day not permanently closing. They neglected to say that. If the new chiropractor doesn’t do a better job, he said he’s going back to the old one.

Great that his chiro is still there!
Cake was/is great.
Rei is very popular here.
I guess FB and instagram have been down? First I got on iPad today is now. Dog walk and yard work, then making lunch, paying bills, checking bank statements…and in a few minutes driving DH to dr. BBL.

Thanks for the start, Chele. Good news that the chiropractor he likes really isn't permanently closed. I think I would be tempted to go back since he's just okay with the new one. I hope the new lemon tree will do as well as the old one did for so long. Will he be doing anything different with it so it will be easier to overwinter? Sorry you had to drive home in rain. At least it was quick. How's the migraine today? Gone, I hope. It's nice to have an REI so close. The closest one in NC was south of AVL, so a couple hours drive. They have some nice clearance items from time to time. Is it supposed to open soon?
Kathy, I hope your weather guy is wrong about your skipping spring and going right to summer. If all the rain keeps the wildfires down, that's a good thing this time of year. Maybe the pond will get more active.
I'm glad the cake was worth all the effort, Linda, and I hope you have enough left over for a few more days. Did you get FB to come back up? I've been on this afternoon and didn't have any issues. Did you go to the museum today? What's your "terrible twos" girl been into lately?
The "triple crown" was this morning. He used lots of anesthetic, so the pain wasn't bad. It's wearing off now, so I'm feeling it. The largest pain was the bill. I remember the days when a crown cost about $500 and that seemed outrageous. That's cheap by today's standards. They estimated that dental insurance won't even cover 20% of the bill. Pretty pathetic. I get the permanent ones in 3 weeks. We were planning to do pizza from Mellow Mushroom to celebrate my bone scan. I started to place an order online until I got to the payment screen and it said the two pizzas I planned to order were going to cost $70. Their pizza is good, but not that good. I guess they're sticking it to the tourists. We'll do something else instead. It's tick season here--Dale got his first one today. One of the downsides to warm weather.
