This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning and happy Tuesday.
Another rainy day here. Actually, they're calling for thunderstorms off and on all day. Thankfully the temps are pretty stable so nothing beyond T.storms predicted. But, it's pretty messy and I don't really relish getting out in all of this, so I think I'll take another day at home and skip the gym, in favor of squats & such at home. I didn't sleep very well last night, so probably not a great day for a heavy weight session anyway.
Thanks Susie & Robin for your kind words yesterday. Looking back with "what if" and "If only" has never solved any problems, so I try not to dwell on those things. But you can't help when those thoughts cross your mind.
Robin - enjoy your WFH day. I hope it all goes smoothly for you.
It looks like we might have a bit better weather Thursday, then back to rain for a couple of days and then some sunshine for the first few days of next week. I'm definitely going to make sure I enjoy those and get some good outside time. Lol
Have a terrific Tuesday!

Hi again. Grey, wet, cold...just a really yuck day here. I've been doing a load of towels, cleaning the bathrooms, and catching up on a little Netflix w/a cup of delicious coffee. Are y'all part of the FB outage? I am and that pretty much took care of any work I was going to do in my groups today. Lol. In fact, IDK if I'll ever get logged back into my account. I tried so many times to change my password and get logged in that I might have locked myself out forever...Haha! Of course, after the zillionth time of it failing, I thought...Hmmmm...I should Google and see if it's just me. Ha! Nope, me and millions of others, apparently. Lol. Anyway, I guess getting stuff done around the house is probably a good thing. I haven't gotten around to the squats and such yet. That might end up being a Wednesday thing.

Hi Everyone, Lora, even though I don't know the specifics of what happened to your mother I am sorry that it gets emotional at her anniversary. I get emotional but not necessarily tied to one specific date. I can just be driving and some thought might trigger certain memories. The car situation was getting a bit complicated. When I found out what the price would be for the mirror from the dealer I felt it would be worth it to submit a claim from the insurance company. When I called last night they told me that since I wanted to go through my dealer that I would have to get the car inspected at this collision place first and then the guy would send them their estimate/ invoice. I was trying to set the time where I have to take it a bit farther to get to and the transportation is less accessibleĝ though. I picked up the car this afternoon and will take it in the morning to drop if off. My sister will meet me up there and drive me there and drop me off at a bus stop that was more accessible. Falling asleep. Have a good night!
P.S. I chose to have the work fixed by the collision place that I am taking it to tommorow. Just less complicated.

Hello everyone,
Lora, I don't think the outage reached me. It seemed like it was ok when I checked earlier today. How frustrating! Of course it had to in the middle of lousy weather.... Maybe some slowdown time was in order, you know?
Work was great. I didn't have any patients in the afternoon and I was able to get a lot of phone calls done. I also cooked up some taco meat while making calls. It was funny because I use a phone system on my computer, so they are on the speaker while we talk. Well, every time a trash truck (or pretty much anything moving) goes by, the dogs run and bark their way to the mudroom and out the doggie door. Sometimes the person on my zoom visit or on the phone has a dog that starts barking, too! They ALL know how I am about the animals, so they like to see them or hear them😊 I'm going to clean up the kitchen and get upstairs to stretch out. My tailbone is aching, for sure. I'm off tomorrow but I have a meeting at noon, and then Breslin has a grooming appointment at 3p in Sharpsburg. I might drive on to Shepherdstown while I'm waiting for her to get done. It really depends on the weather. I might just come home if its raining. Anyway, it won't be a good day for any outdoor work here. Have a good evening. I'll be back tomorrow. Waving to all!

Hello All - walked with DD, then met my DS at COSTCO and exchanged a pair of shorts and slacks. Next up was bridge and then line dancing. We went to the church dinner and settled down for TV.
Lora - sorry about more rain. Hope you have a better night of sleep tonight.
Janet - I think it is a good idea to have the work done at the collision place.
Robin - funny that when your dogs bark, the patient's dogs bark too - lol. The class I took yesterday was "A Teenager Goes to Congress." A member served as an " Assistant Tally Clerk" at the US House of Reps from 1968- 1971 while he was going to college. It was pretty interesting as he told various anecdotes about members during that time. He also spent time at Pres. Johnson's ranch. He will continue this zoom class on the 11th and 18th.
OK...heading to bed...another busy day tomorrow.
