Not much here just going to take a nice hot shower and finally get dressed. Maybe I’ll feel human again. I do feel better this morning. Not 100% but getting there.
Rosie is so funny and certainly has a mind of her own. Fred told me the barking I heard when I went to bed Tuesday was her barking at the tv and he was watching a basketball game so thought she didn’t like all the noise. But he did share that about 15 minutes after I went to bed she looked in the bedroom, saw I was in bed and came out grabbed one of her babies and jumped up in my chair, curled up and went to sleep! I said well if she can do she can surely go up and down the outside steps! Later he had gone to the store for something and I was in the bathroom checking my temp and she wasn’t scratching at the door or anywhere near it when I came out and there she was with one of her babies in my chair! I was like that’s okay I’ll share with you but nope if she couldn’t have the whole chair she wanted none of it. Then when Fred got back we had a game of chase so I could get her harness on so he could take her out on the leash. He took her out the front door and he said she walked just fine down the steps on the leash and he took the leash off once in the yard and she ran and ran and when done came up to him to get the leash back on and walked up the front steps into the house. She did it so easily I wonder if she could do it all the time but was more than willing to be carried all around.
Since he’s been the one taking her out he’s started doing what he did with Bridgette and Bailey and that’s give her a treat when she comes back in. He knows to either put it in her dish or on her blanket and she will eat it. So this will be good if she associates me with meal time and him with treat time. I just wish she would take it from our hand as she wants it but turns her head away from your hand. Maybe in time as she now does allow me to touch her face which at first was an absolute no with her.

Good morning. Sandy, glad you're feeling better. A hot shower and getting dressed might make you feel better.
Nothing on my to do list for today. Might work on a couple more kitchen drawers and cupboards. I noticed a few things that I could make more convenient for me. Spent a lot of time on the phone last night. Hadn't talked with my sister in law for quite a while and she called and we had a good chat. While we were talking I got a call from a good friend and I called her back and we talked for a while. I read for a while after that and then went to bed
Cloudy this morning and temp right now is 40, high of 48 today. My pastor is coming this afternoon to give me communion. Looking forward to talking with him.

Bet Rosie was smacked around her face at some point. May take awhile, maybe be careful not to come "at" her, a scratch behind the ears at first when petting her.
Betty, I need to redo my pantry beside the fridge, can't find anything in there. Need to take some of the canned goods to basement. I seem to just buy the same old same old stuff. Did check the dates not too long ago. All good. For now I have canned pineapple etc with the cans of tomatoes. Dislike going through the same stuff all the time for one thing.
My headache is still there but not bad. I am going to Rite Aide this afternoon. Need some things for the kid's Care package and also some things for me. Want to check out a new shampoo. Think I need something different.
Looks like I need a new faucet for the bathtub/shower. one thing after another, not wonder I have headache. Old House Old Lady!!

No Linda we tried that and she turned away. Connie I was thinking the same thing but she has trusted me enough now that she will let me touch her face and even clean the corners of her eyes and she loves it when I give her little kisses on the side of her face but not on her nose yet. We always scratch behind her ears when petting her as she loves that along with belly rubs. She just gets happier every day.

grandmasandy2, sometimes Minni will not take something and wants it in the floor..no idea.
I don't get a chance to sit with tea and a book on a rainy day. So what are the odds that late lunch with friends we only see once in a while would be right at the height of the storms?

I just had the technician here to fix my tv/internet connection. He found that the box was bad. He replaced it and hopefully in 24 hours I should have internet again. It takes about 24 hours to the box work properly. It's cloudy and 51 degrees.
