Thursday’s intentions Decide dinner. Maybe rib steaks? Laundry. Mini grocery run. Need milk & fruit. Gotta tell ya— peroxide & baking soda is the winning DYI cleaner. The section where I used that mixture looks almost brand new! Will definitely put it in play on the rest of the floor. R showed me a picture of painted fireplace screen. Not sure that I like it. He will bring home a vent for me to check out.

I will get back on track, continue to track every BLT, walk thirty minutes before I sleep, hydrate, finish laundry, etc. Had fun with friends yesterday. The one who had surgery months ago is able to sit up and play cards and is planning how to get to and from Beirut for a month of radiation appointments...she has a driver but he may quit. Nothing exciting to share. Glad to have internet to post a message but won't do personals today.

June - She only just got the diagnosis the other day. Still lots of testing to do but it is likely metastatic breast cancer from years ago. Cathy - Glad you had a great time with friends Waving to everyone else.
It was a carpy day yesterday all day. Lily was happy to play inside with Isabella. I'm starting the next stage of exercises this morning. I'm aware of the staples and the bruising is still awful but at least I don't have to wear the sling all the time now. Cleaning crew will be here in about an hour or so. I'll just pop over to Carol's while they are here. I don't like being here when they are.
S - Usual coffee B - Bacon and lettuce on 647 wheat L - ? Trader Joe's salmon burger on a light em w/lettuce and mayo D - London broil, asparagus. E - Walking, stretching

Good morning all - My hair appt went well yesterday then Randy met me in town and we got hibachi. I got a kids portion as it was more than enough along with a few California rolls. I texted with Ann briefly yesterday and she said to tell everyone hello and she misses posting. She is well. Apple sauce for breakfast again and salad for lunch. Grilling pchops tonight and sides tbd. most likely stir fried cabbage
June, I like the idea of a furniture exchange! Also, the white washing paint idea. Will be looking more into that. The peroxide and baking soda should also be better for the environment rather than a chemical cleaner...cheaper, too!
Cathy, love your pink sweater pic on fb. You look great! Keep up what ever you are doing.
Susi, sure hope today is better! Sending up a prayer for your comfort. I also like to let the cleaners have at it while I go do something else.

Cathy Solid plan for an OP day. Hope that your card-playing friend is able to secure a driver and can continue her radiation treatment. Glad that she could catch up with you & the others. Will need to check FB for your picture in which you sport your pink sweater!
Susi Really great to hear how on target your recovery is. It’s must feel good to get some relief from the sling. Ugh. . . Looking at the staples and bruises always gives me the heebie-jeebies. GL with your PT exercises. Have no doubt that you will do them faithfully, which will further your recuperation and improve the outcome. I wonder how many of those I would recognize. I helped both Mom and Richard with a wide variety of shoulder work. Thx for letting me know that I hadn’t suppressed unhappy news about Marge. (I have done so in the past, and then feel badly for not being a better friend). It is hitting me more that we are reaching an age where unwanted news will come our way.
LaDonna Sounds like the perfect outing for you and Randy. I also like ordering from the kid’s menu. If I don’t, then there are leftovers for R. Thx for the update from Ann. Yum! Your dinner sounds like something right up my alley.

LaDonna - Glad you and Randy enjoyed a nice dinner out. June - Aside from the original exercises (ball squeeze, wrist up and down palm down and then palm up, 90 degree elbow pronation supination, bicep curl, Aarom shoulder flexion), I now need to do "wall walking", "table walking", side and front raises. 3 times a day. No weights and no arm behind my back. I'm sure more will be added next week.
