Since Son#1's entire company is closed for a mental health day (yes, really!) we do NOT have to get up before 6 AM to get him to the train.
So we have every intention of sleeping in <jinx><jinx>.
Coffee... βββ... one more mug...
πππππππππππππππππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππππππππππ

Diva, you truly are a selfless person to always be getting up early to give your son rides to the train! Always amazed at the mountain of things you do for them and hoping for a break for you at a tropical resort, courtesy of your children for all you do!
Deb, the dinner went well and Iβm happy they get along!

((((Reneinitaly)))) π finreporter, I'm so glad dinner went well. You deserve happiness! diva49, You are such a blessing to your family! lavonm, I forgot- where do you live that you had snow again? Are you one of the Connecticut ladies? DebDoesWW, I hope you and your mom are both on the road to recovery and healing. We had some wild weather yesterday. Flurries, then a few snow squalls, then hail, before it all turned to rain. We had high winds with all of that and winds again today. Luckily the snow didn't really stick. Today starts the state alternative testing. This is just ridiculous! I have to test math and reading for all students and science for my 4th graders. Having to sit my non-verbal students in front of a computer, trying to keep them from trying to turn the screen to YouTube and read a story or math problems to them is just crazy. There is no opt out and I'm not allowed to end the test early if they don't respond (that used to be an option). I wish the people that make the rules would actually spend a day in my room. Have a great day everyone!

Diva, you truly are a selfless person to always be getting up early to give your son rides to the train! finreporter , this is only on the one day a week that he is "required" to go into the office. His company went remote during the height of the pandemic (except for the crew monitoring the central computers at HQ) but finally were told to return to in-house one day a week. However, there are only two members who live within commuting distance and Lexi has a special-needs child. The others are <ahem> REALLY "remote" - like California and India (we're NJ). He's the only one who does this (Team Leader who has Project Manager permissions). He can get more work done at home...

Good morning all. reneinitaly Although it's cloudy here today, our temps should still get to the 60s. I'll be walking later. diva49, it's so nice that some businesses allow people to work from home, even if it's only once a week. Such a change from when DH and I had to go into our offices every day. finreporter, I'm glad the recent dinner with your Ex and BF went well. How is the rash? Have a great day, y'all!

Nope, I'm in Pittsburgh, PA. The sun is out now melting the dusting & icy spots we had. My son is special needs & I remember the days of state testing. That was before computers. He never bothered to read anything. He'd just fill in the holes as he saw fit. I'm not sure how he decided but needless to say, he finished quickly. The best part is he actually did pretty well with that method. lol

finreporter yay, that is great π Mom's took her last antibiotic and I just went a d grabbed her probiotics,Activia, and protein shakes. She is miserable. I'm still hobbling around. I get all psyched thinking it is healed then boom, the whole top of the foot shifts and I think, well that probably shouldn't feel like it has disconnected like that π€£ lavonm Eric did that and was so proud of himself for finishing so quickly π

lavonm, I didn't realize you were another PA gal. Yep, Pittsburgh can still get snow all the way to Easter. I grew up in Oil City (halfway between Pittsburgh and Erie) and my brother still lives there, so I definitely understand snow later in the year. DebDoesWW, lavonm, I remember having to video tape some of my kiddos on the test before computers. Somewhere there are official state videos of me getting hit, bit and a kid putting a table through the wall!

Linda, the rash is starting to clear up!! I'm so happy. I get a hive here and there but the bumps are starting to flatten out and turn a less angry color. I'm pleased to see the ones on my chest are nearly gone, it's the ones on my arms and midsection that need to now disappear, but definitely look way better! The Rx steroid cream is doing the trick. I also stopped wearing jeans and tight pants for the time being since that was exacerbating it so now I just wear all my dresses on rotation for the time being.
