Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Beautiful sunny day ahead. We did get some snow yesterday, enough to cover the lawn but not the streets or sidewalks. Looks pretty. I’m sure the snow will be gone by tomorrow.
Laundry on today’s agenda, that also means giving some clothes away. I’m better at going through things after laundry is done. Continuing to thin out my clothes.
Chicken stir fry for dinner tonight. Bought mixed berries, I’m planning on making yogurt parfaits with them.
Enjoy your day

Good afternoon. Long day yesterday getting home. Had to get up really early (and we lost that hour of sleep too) to be able to drop off the car and be checked in through TSA by 8:30. Thankfully only about a 15 min drive to the airport; easy drop off; then the long walk to get bag tags and drop off the checked bags. Our DF had arranged for a wheelchair for me in all 3 airports yesterday since my hips/back were so bad from all the walking/sitting we’d done over our trip. My hips hurt so badly Friday night I about couldn’t sleep at all. First time that’s happened. I felt kind of strange using the wheelchair but nice to have it available when you do need it. She also upgraded our seats on the flight from DC to MSP to first row of comfort plus. We had talked about how Stan had issues with the leg room on AA and about panicked on the way down. She is a TA and I know she gets a good discount, but felt badly that she paid for it. She would not let us reimburse her. And we were so thankful for those seats because Stan could totally stretch his legs out and was comfortable, even in the middle of 3 seats. Got to MSP & got our bags, got the car, stopped for take out for dinner, came home and ate dinner, I unpacked a little and today am doing laundry. Suitcases are mostly put away and bathroom stuff too. Last load of laundry is in the washer.
I should dust & vacuum but I can do that tomorrow. Doing a few other things I need to get done and resting. We both woke up about 6:30 this morning and got up so I’ve already been up an hour and a half longer than usual. Got my hair washed while Stan was at Peddle Class.
One of these days I’ll get through the closets Joy. So much stuff doesn’t fit me right now (more doesn’t than does) and I’m not sure how far down in sizes to keep. I’m thinking if I can get to 16’s I’ll be thrilled. Anything lower the clothes are probably out of style.
Waving to Martha. I think 3 more days until Dottie is back from her cruise. The 14th I think she said.
have a good evening all. Will try to check in tomorrow. We need to run to the grocery store, the gas station, and I’m not sure what else.
