Good morning!
I am thinking that all of us agree that tracking definitely has its place in the life of a person focused on improving their health. So why is it so hard to stick with it? Is it because we feel "judged" listing things after a not-so-good eating day? It takes too much time? It is too cumbersome? I think that I just haven't forced myself to REALLY use the data I collect from it so I don't value it as I should. I am a chronic off-and-on tracker and I really do want to improve on it. I think this weekend I will explore the "why" I want to do it more. How about you?
Yesterday was a long day (got home at about 7:10 pm) but it was a good day---especially coming off of the time change. I went to bed at a decent time...tonight is the Board presentation at 6:00 pm so we'll see how I feel after that! I probably will go to the gym tomorrow morning to make up for missing my Monday workout. It's all good. Today it is 43 degrees and rainy and we have "track" ---this takes some serious commitment to get out there (after 10 min or so, you are warmed up though)...sigh, we will do it.
Carole: Did you go and see Apollo 13? I love to see ANY movie in the movie theater! I hope that you did and that you enjoyed it. Out here, on Tuesdays, most theaters charge $5 per person for any new movie. I think that Meg and I will make that our habit--going, when we can, on Tuesday evenings. I am looking forward to it. So, did Ken remember to ask about the sleep study, LOL? I hope that the wind has died down--I love though that you are still using the E as an option. That is why I have the TM....it is good to have options. Hoping that you had a good day and are feeling good with the movement helping you loosen up those muscles and joints.
Jenny: So glad that Audrey made it safely home and that she had a good trip! Does she like Utah? Just curious! I did love seeing what everyone was wearing at the Oscars and don't mind watching it. I don't sit there for 3 hours though (I am not good with that)...I feel like I can go in and out of the room. I did love how, for the major actor awards, they had past winners introduce the nominees----I REALLY liked that! Loved seeing people like Rita Moreno and Sally Fields. Hope that you are having a good, "normal" week.
Sue: I forgot to mention it (but saw Carole's post). I LOVE that they teach swimming in middle school! I think that it should be required of PE in middle and high schools....it is truly a life skill that can save your life. It is great to hear that he is getting better at it too.....a lifetime activity that he can keep up. How did work go yesterday? Hoping that your week is going well. I am waiting to hear about you painting that chicken (not the live chicken.....the one for Lacey's class, LOL).
Hello to all who follow. I need to suck it up and get ready to go running. Hmmm...DH isn't up yet so better make sure he is up if he plans to go. I might try to check in later from work. Have a good day!

Jenny: Yup, it was Monday again... but hey today is Tuesday!! 1 down 4 to go!! Glad you are back to normal hours this week {{{hugs}}}
Glad Audrey had a good time in UT, will she be traveling for "Spring Break"?? What a difference a day makes! WHEW... the winds died down during the night, looks calm and sunny out there this morning. Today is supposed to be up to 50s! Glad the weighing and measuring is going well for you. I do it 90% of the time... but didn't take a measuring cup to the movies yesterday! LOL Have to guestimate on how much popcorn I ate! I know I had eaten a later breakfast, and then my healthy lunch just before leaving, so I wasn't "hungry"... but I ate too much popcorn anyway! LOL I didn't eat/wasn't hungry for supper... Didn't hit my macros yesterday!
Gabrielle: Good Morning ☼ Funny you are thinking about tracking... that is Kait's message this week too! She had a FB post yesterday about it, and it was her Q&A (mindset) last night. I have been pretty steady with it lately. Last week I even tracked the alcohol and junk food! Somedays I have to go back and track the night before - I need to get more into tracking BEFORE eating. One MORE habit to work on I guess.
Ugh Track day in the rain, and cold! Yes - SERIOUS Commitment there! Does Ed go with you?
Yes, we went to the movies yesterday. I remember the movie, but WOW I had forgotten the emotions of it! Jaclyn had to sit next to Eden to "shield her eyes" during a couple scenes. LOL Truly not that bad, but Eh' not my circus. Yes here too, $5.00 Tuesdays, yesterday we got the SENIOR Discount!! Yes, wind has died down, and it appears to be the start of a beautiful day!! I have to leave shortly for injections, but then I'll be home and hope to get out in the sunshine later.
Hope you got Ed moving - and hope the run went well. ♥
I cleaned my room yesterday! Well, not cleaned/cleaned, but decluttered. Saturday, when I meet the bus for NYC, I will take a couple trash bags of old pillows, blankets, and towels. I'll throw them in Deb's car, and she will take them to her animal shelter next week. She goes to volunteer sometimes, but will always take donations down. Anyway, it will be good to get a bunch of stuff OUT of here.
Two nights of sleeping at an 89! Yesterday though my graph was a straight line again! Today was same as usual, and I woke with a headache and groggy. Oh well, it is what it is - and I still wait for insurance!
Today is injections, then home to no real plans. I see the hot tub in my afternoon! LOL Along with laundry as usual, and MAYBE getting Ken outside to start trimming tree branches! I want them done before Jeff comes to do the spring yard cleanup!
OK Guess I had better think about getting myself out the door!! I hope you all have a great day, and yes... TRACK-TRACK-TRACK... it truly IS beneficial for weight loss!!
♥hugs♥
