This thread is for all of us who have been on the weight loss merry-go-round quite a few times. We have banded together to make this our FINAL time. We offer support & motivation, WEIGHT LOSS TIPS, food ideas – whatever you need to make it your FINAL time. If you start the day’s thread, please copy and paste this paragraph.

Good Morning Sue ~ Thanks for starting us off this morning ☼ Looks to be another beautiful day here today! Actually yesterday was still pretty breezy after all, so no outdoor trimming! Ken left for an ambulance call, and I bagged up three bags of sheets, blankets, pillows & towels for the animal shelter! Good Lord, now I can actually use my linen closet for stuff we use! LOL Then I finished clearing photos and scrapbooking supplies off the shelving in the spare room. So I did get my exercise yesterday. When Ken got home we did hit the tub! Loving the warm sunshine. I think I have Saturday's NYC trip all mapped out for the girls trip we are doing. It's all only about 4 miles, but it will most likely take all day! LOL The GOOD news is, we are not going to 5th Avenue... the parade route! Phew!
Just saw on FB that my SIL's Fiancée died on Monday. Sad that we are not even "family" enough for them to let us know? It said service will be private for the family - so I guess we won't be going! It also said a Celebration of Life later - but highly doubt we will be included in that either - makes me sad and, I admit, a little angry. Oh well, gotta let it go.
Today I need to get grocery shopping lists figured out, for Easter pies and for here at home. Other than that, not much on my agenda today, besides adding water to and doing weekly maintenance on the tub.
Call with Kait at 2, can't forget that either! LOL
♥hugs♥

Quick HI from work....got us started right after I arrived at work because I had a couple minutes to at least get that far but then all H3LL broke loose so never got back. Another beautiful day here today in the low 70's and little to no air moving. Will hit the pool after work and hopefully be able to get back here then....my evenings have been a bit crazy the last few days...not sure what's going on! LOL!
Remember....we always have choices and we need to think first to make the best one for ourselves, our health, our well-being....

Evening all...don't have a lot of time but figured I'd pop on for a bit! Had a nice workout, then spent about 15 minutes in the whirlpool...with the extra reps and time this week, I bit sore, a good sore and the whirlpool really does help loosen things up a bit. Once I got home Jackson and I made grilled cheese for dinner....Kellen has baseball practice tonight so Jackson stayed home. Since the time change they now practice outside and longer so he didn't feel like hanging out at the ball field doing nothing. Can't say as I blame him!! Kellen is usually the grilled cheese master so it was time to teach Jackson!! LOL!!
Now all the way back to Sunday to catch up a bit more....
Jenny...winds seem to be the story for a lot of us this weekend and early this week too...they finally calmed down yesterday and today....we have enjoyed some glorious spring days. It was 72° when I got out of work today!! Surprisingly we didn't lose power at all through all the wind...both Tonya and Gloria lost it a couple times but they are not on the same electric company as me...not sure if that makes a difference or not?? Bummer about the honeysuckle plant...did it get damaged at all in the wind?? Glad you enjoyed your massage....WOW, they are expensive out your way....Jason pays $62...I only pay $52 because I get a $10 Sheridan discount! Holly's mom and sister both work(ed) at Sheridan. But Jason pays for 10 and gets the 11th free. $60-70 is about normal here for a 1 hour massage....I try to go every 6-8 weeks but when I do stretch it to 8 weeks like I am this time I can feel it....Was the big price just because you went to a different person at a different place or did the massage place just increase prices for all massage therapists. Mine is self employed and the only one. AT the Y they are $65/hour.
Your meeting sounds like just what you needed to reinforce good habits and set goals of your walking mat, weighing/measuring and tracking food. I will say that the only thing I have really changed in the last 6 weeks is adding the pool 3 days a week....I haven't really lost anything but I will say when I look at my legs and arms they look more toned...no, I'm NOT buff by any stretch, but I notice my clothes fit better and I haven't lost anything to make that possible. LOL, yes, I remember our Oak Island trip and you trying to get the Oscars on TV....glad you were home to watch it in the comfort of your own living room and technology you knew how to work!
Oh my....sounds like "Barbie" is in a bit of hot water for her lack of attentiveness to detail. Sounds like they are trying to push her out the door...could be an interesting week. Not sure what her documenting every time they talk to her will matter....I'm sure they too are documenting it all with HR already if they have already taken disciplinary actions with her?? Time will tell???
Carole...glad you did indeed have a SIMPLE Saturday!! Sounds perfect!! I do love snow this time of year because it does melt so quickly....hopefully the moving and stretching will help your bum back!! I do know that if I don't get up and make a few loops during the day or if I sit at the computer or table too long when at home I too get stiff and achy!! Nachos sounds yummy.....I have stuff to make taco salad...I've been hungry for it but that didn't go with the pizza so I'll make that another day when I get more lettuce!
Funny....my DM didn't need her glasses right after she got her cataracts taken care of but soon she needed them again because of reading....her no glasses phase was short lived but I guess when you have worn glasses all your life it's not a biggie!! Hope Mary can enjoy no glasses for longer than my DM did!
I agree Carole....since cancer has hit your family in many ways, I don't see them ever not participating at the Relay but you still don't need to stay....that's one very long night and the older you get the harder that night is....and teams don't keep someone on the track all night anymore like they used to....it's not the same and that's annoying. I remember the crowds of people on the track all night when I did the Relay years ago when it was at Y....I'll be curious to see the final pie tally for Easter....I know the donuts are always a favorite and sell out quickly.
WOW....AZ is just around the corner....4/1 is only 2 weeks from Monday!! Coming fast!! Hope you can soon finalize what kitchen updates get done. What is Ken's issue with pushing the fridge back?? And what does the counter top have to do with the fridge?? I'm confused I guess??
LOL Carole...I'm thinking the same thing about retirement and grabbing healthy lunches...I know what my weekends are like....I do great during my planned work week, then on the weekends I'm a bit all over the place, not always making the healthiest of choices. I see myself planning at least lunches and maybe breakfasts forever....otherwise I will become a 7 day a week "grazer" and that is NOT good for me!!
Well....didn't get far and it's almost 9:00....another one of those nights when Jackson asked me 20 questions, then Jason, then Kellen and Sarah got home and Kellen has to show me his new uniform, etc.....so it took forever!!
Night all...going to try to read the last couple days to at least know what is going on....
