Thursday’s intentions
Plan a menu for the day.
Take a short walk.
Renovation tasks:
- Continue search for color options and solutions of grout stain for kitchen. It’s a bit tricky since the original color was never quite right.
- Wash the fireplace box one last time.
- Vacuum and wipe down firebox.
B: Gk. yogurt, strawberries, walnuts
L: Vegetable soup w/ EVO & red wine vinegar, baked fish
D: Grilled pork chop, lite mac n cheese, salad, homemade apple sauce
Wishing that whatever each of us needs today— peace, comfort, humor, gratitude, resilience, patience, energy— is there for us.

Good morning all.
Good plan June. Hope you accomplish all on your list.
Last night was the first very uncomfortable night since the surgery and I hit my limit on Tylenol. After walking Lily, I took a nap and feel better. I'll be going food shopping shortly. Need to make Lily's food
S - Usual coffee
B - Salad w/ov on a 3 pt. Italian roll
L - Probably hummus and/or avocado lettuce wraps Salmon burger
D - Mussesl fra diabloLobster tail, air fried sweet potato chunks, sauteed broccoli rabe

Prayers still going up for those in the path of storms... many, MANY prayers... there are many, MANY storms... and fires, too, that never seem to go away...

I never got here yesterday. I'm sure y'all can figure out why.
Tuesday night MissMouse and the Mouseketeer stopped by. He was looking for an ethernet cable that I hadn't used since 2018, to directly hook up his computer to the internet for better speed. 2018 - when I retired from the DayJob 🤔. Just TRY and remember where something from almost 6 years ago might be, eh? Knowing that it was blue helped Toots locate it in a box of miscellaneous wires/cables in the basement - amazing! So the Mouseketeer was happy, Pippin was happy that MissMouse took him for a walk, and we've recycled something that otherwise would have been thrown out eventually.
News! NEWS!! On Tuesday, Toots got the "service confirmed" pre-sequenced email from the grand jury ppl. Yesterday he got his PERSONAL response from the Jury Manager that he is EXCUSED 🎉🎉🎉.
Yesterday I got some crocheting done but otherwise never even got outside. Since we MUST get to the grocery store, that will be remedied today.

M🌺B & T: Yesterday I reviewed 25 emails from a variety of files. T is becoming increasingly confused as to "what goes where" - especially since MB has been interrupting her work to talk NOW about work that he still has not yet done that is quite overdue. Tessa wants "... to talk to EC and see if he will let me [her] make an in-depth marketing launch timeline WITH deadlines that we stick to" and then speaks about letting things fail when deadlines are missed and letting MB have to pick up the pieces, basically how we "enable" him, and that it is affecting both us workers and the quality of work we provide. All this is stuff that I said to her in our phone call last week, but now it is VERY visible. There's more. Not worthy of my concern. <meh>.

Glad to hear that a nap helped you reduced the pain. That is amazing that you have been managing post-surgery with only Tylenol.
Hope your grocery run is uneventful and you find everything on your list.
My “to do” may have expanded while I was running errands.
lol.. . We may be painting the fire box. I came home to discover R painting the firewood grate with high heat resistant black paint. Will see if he intends to do. In the meantime, I will look at how to prep it just in case.

Hooray! Glad that Toot’s request for medical deferment was honored. lol. . . I don’t even want to say or think about that situation so as not to jinx us. We both have been selected several times.
Goodness. . . Finding that cord was like a Xmas miracle. Nice that you could make the Mouseketeer’s day! Nice the Pippin & MossMouse can both enjoy walk & play time.
I think that I hurt myself when I snorted and then laughed so hard. Have you not clearly and consistently tried to avert disaster?
It sounded as if T has waited a bit too long to get abroad the train. And at this point, hitting pause seems reasonable. Hit pause. Apologize to clients. Prioritize & get it done. Get the product out.
Adult beverage & pretzels are in order as “more stuff” happens.

Hey, being OP at this point in the day is a success. Being a bit over to night will be okay. Tomorrow really is another day.
