Good morning.
42, waiting on a light rain moving in around noon, not much change in the temp today.
Robin, I am pretty sure the apartment building is not going to be having children as residents. Not worried about that. The apartment buildings that are going up like crazy are too expensive for me, even the 1 bed, that I might as well stay here. The whole package at this building is what appeals to me with the nice amount of savings, and the small space for cleaning.
I totally agree, about the 10 years, even from when we moved here 5 yrs. ago, I feel my age much more these days. How will I feel even 5 years from now? Now is the time for me to get this done, there is a reason all this is happening.
Interesting to know that about Aldi's yogurt. The last time I tried theirs, I did not care for the taste. Guess I will try it again.
Marsha, yes, I agree about the community room at the apartment building. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment, bigger than mine here, they are front loaders.
Thanks for the link for the cart, I will save that, I think it would work, since I could store it easily in one of the closets.
Nice that you like fish sticks. I would serve those a lot to the girls and Gary back when I would come home from work at 5, and everyone would want dinner in 10 minutes. I just can't bring myself to eat those anymore.
My DS is so happy in her condo, with her small dog. She has a nice patio, that is paved, so when she does not want to walk the dog, she just lets her out into the back yard. She has never complained about the condo fees going up, and she is a penny pincher, so I know I would hear about it.
That cracked me up about the comment to Bob about the container!! I have to remember that; I will just let it go till he asks again, then say that!! Thanks!!
Gareth, there are still a lot of loose ends with all this. And there is that chance that I get denied for that apartment. That is driving me nuts, waiting on that!
I agree about the bare belly's showing off how big your belly is. Today's world has no shame, or decency. Our ancestor's that wore clothes to their feet would flip if they saw what our young people wear, especially the kids in schools!
I hope you don't get any bad storms today. We really need the rain badly here. One local weather guy I follow on Twitter is warning that the end of March will be colder, so there is a chance we could get snow before we are out of April.
Carol, yes, I am pretty sure I will be moving to that apartment, if as I said to Gareth, I get approved. That seems to be the best and smartest way for me to go. I love the locked building, but I am going to see, once I move in (IF, I move in), if I can put some kind of chain lock on my apartment door, too. With living among veterans, I worry about PTSD. I do look forward to the possibility of making friends there.
The last time (a couple weeks ago) I was at Aldi's I too went through the regular check out and with not having a lot, I was able to finish getting everything on the belt before the cashier was caught up to me, lol!!!
Oh geez, I hope you too do not get bad storms today.
Anngie, I have been walking around thinking of all the things that won't be able to go with me, and it does make me a bit ill. In the time I have been here, I have accumulated more things than I should have. I guess I need to stay away from that resale store I love so much!
I am waiting to hear if I got approved for the apartment, which the woman on Monday told me it could take 2 weeks. I am sweating that, as I have to give this apartment management a 60-day notice, which would be on April 1st, to bring me to the start of the new lease, with the $100 increase, and I would be locked in then for 1 year here. I am trying very hard not to start biting my fingernails!!
Yes, here too the new houses have the main bedroom on the first floor, if the house is a 2 story, plus a bathroom with that bedroom.
Pinky, I can't remember, I think I neglected to wish you a Happy Birthday; please forgive me! Happy Belated Birthday!!!
Good luck to your DH on his future dealings with the skin cancer. That was wicked when DH was going through that the summer of 2020. He had to have the Moes surgery quite a few times.
I felt bad for that farmer that is tilling the ground next door, as he came back last night to hopefully finish it; he came back to finish around 10 pm! Not a job I would like to be doing.
I am not going to worry about getting that container back from Bob. We will see what he does to see me again.
Pinky! I am the same way when I come home from somewhere, I just don't feel like doing things; I have to really force myself to get that energy back.
Eye specialist appointment this afternoon after work. I am dreading it but looking forward to hear if there is anything that can be done about the auras. Plus, I am hoping they can tell me if this summer would be a good time to take care of the cataracts or if nothing is needed to be done yet about them.
I guess the in thing at the high school is boy's getting perms. DD sent us a picture of DGS last night, after he got one!!!! OMG!!!! I was beyond shocked!!! I can't imagine his girlfriend approved that!!!
