C134D5, 1465 calories. More night time eating. Almost no sleep. Planning pool today unless I'm just too exhausted. I plan out the days beautifully and follow them to the letter until late at night. Hopefully this is all the prednisone. 5 more days I think.

Quick good morning. Eating has not been good. Gaining weight. Blood sugar is high. Someone give me a dope slap! Yesterday was a really hard day, plus I've not had much sleep the last 3 nights. That has such an impact on everything.
Food is planned for today: 18/6 and lots of water. Hoping for a walk.
Nancy: I'm sorry you're struggling but glad your cough is better. You fight the nighttime eating; with me it's the late afternoon.
Kathy: Welcome home! Great job not gaining weight on vacation.
Lori and Jan: Have a great day.

Meg = We're both struggling. I don't like hearing about your blood sugar. Hopefully you can turn that around sooner rather than later.

C80. D7. TRE. Did a 39 hour fast (dinner Tuesday to breakfast Thursday) and my blood sugar responded really well and is heading steadily down.
Meg!! Please consider listening to or reading the book Fast, Feast, Repeat. It's not specifically for diabetes, but is a good How To for intermittent fasting. I'm listening on Audible and it Encourages me to keep fasting
Under your doctors supervision (if you have a supportive Dr. Mine is, not all are. My BFF had to find a different Dr.), you should consider trying a 42 hour therapeutic fast. If you can do 18/6 then you can build to a 42. Make.it a clean fast- i.e. only black coffee, green tea, plain water or plain sparkling water. You can do this!!!
Nancy- hope you get over the Prednisone hump and get rest and manage eating on a way that works.for.you.
At this point in my journey, I don't plan on going back to counting calories or tracking WW points. I've maintained a 42 pound weight loss for 22 weeks. Im free of sugar cravings, I eat what I want to satisfaction. I make healthy, whole food choices and that is what I'm hungry for (fruit, veggies nuts, cheese, meat, limited grains). Yesterday, for example, I was craving milk and drank a quart of organic whole milk. It was delicious and I felt satisfied for hours. I also ate two, large well rounded meals. Scale down 1# this morning.
Jan and Lori- hope you are both doing well.

Kathy,it’s awesome how well you’re maintaining. TRE is the right fit for you!
Meg and Nancy, hope you both are able to get a good night’s sleep. It really does make a Hugh difference….. I’ve been so tired, I’ve been going to bed early and having a hard time waking up on time…..looking forward to no alarm clock tomorrow…..

Major binge today. I think it might be because I had no appetite when I was sick and am mentally making up for it. Also the nutrisystem thing - No appetite for that either and when I do eat some of it, it's regardless of the program. I'm going to start with the night time eating, so once I brush my teeth, usually about 10 PM, no more eating. Tomorrow night is the St Patrick's Day Dinner Dance (corned beef and cabbage and desserts) and Sunday is a Singles "Dine In" (sandwiches and desserts). I'd like to track around both those meals and then get back to my 1200 calorie diet on Monday. If I fail any of this, I'm a lost cause. My weight was 150 this morning, the highest in forever. I feel stuffed right now but am about to brush my teeth and call it a night. Any suggestions most welcome.
Lori - Can you please define "eating is going well". Calories? Points? I could use some direction. My only attempt at this point would be 1200 calories but maybe I need some nutritional guidelines as well and maybe 1200 is too limiting. I really have to get under control and would be most grateful for any feedback. As you can see, I'm getting kind of desperate.
