Good morning.
29, clear, temp going to 53. No rain yesterday after all, so drought continues.
Robin, the resale shop does not buy anything, it is all donated, then that money goes to Unity Hospice. I believe strongly in this charity, as it is local, and all money is used for what they say it is used for. Yes, I am still talking to Bob. He is now dropping hints of going further in our relationship, which I appreciate, as I know where he stands, and is not being pushy about it. Thank you, about the eye doctor.
Wow, what a story about the bus driver!! I bet that is really not too surprising for those long-haul drivers, who are on the road so much, away from home. Is your profession like the medical profession with having to keep everything about cases quiet?
Sorry about your drive to book club. How was it going home?
Marsha, that is of course a good idea about the cart left in the vehicle, I should have thought of that!
Thank you, about the eye doctor.
Did you do pizza last night? How are the cauliflower crusts? I have looked at them in the store, and am tempted, but afraid.
Sorry about the ants, never had the black ones, just the tiny brown ones. We used to get them every early summer, after a good rainfall. Either the bathroom or one corner of the kitchen. I hated it.
Pinky, it may have gotten to 52 here yesterday, but with the winds, it sure was cold! We are officially spoiled now, with thinking yesterday was cold!!
Not too sure the perms are because of Patrick Mahomes', as he is on a different team, I do not think boys in GB would want to emulate him. Plus, the perm is just on the long (back) part of the hair, not the front. Have a great weekend with the kids.
Anngie, I did get an email from the office at the new apartment, they need 6 pay stubs, the hiring letter, and one of the statements from DH retirement account. I want to get that all over to them early this morning. (email) That gives me hope that it is progressing nicely. They did imply that this is what is now holding up the app.
Thank you about the eye doctor.
Gareth, if I don't hear back from the apartment office, I will call over there, maybe midweek, next week. The aura's have to do with ocular migraines, nothing to do with cataracts. He said that since I am getting the aura's so much, he is going to recommend to my family doctor a med for that, even though I do not get the typical migraine, it will stop the auras from coming back so much.
You are lucky to never have had ants. Even here I had them one time, down by the back door.
Carol, I know what you mean, about looking at all the apartments online. This one is kind of interesting in the fact that it is mostly a white apartment. So I can figure out the decorating, with a lot of color. The storage is decent size, of course I would like a bigger area for it, but at least it will store my Christmas stuff, in the totes. I have a few totes under my bed, just paperwork, so I may get a few more of those for whatever. My head has so much going on in it right now, that hopefully soon I will start thinking of if I want to sell some things or what. I do not want strangers coming here, so I just don't know yet.
All I have to say about Rodgers is he is nuts, and we here in GB are SO HAPPY he is gone from here!!!
Very happy to find out my eyes are healthy! Yes, I have the cataracts, but he said they are nothing to rush into surgery for. I can put it off another year. He did dilatate the eyes to see in the back and all, and I was hard pressed to drive afterwards, but did good. Stopped and got gas, which I really needed, and got pretty cheap. It wasn't till many hours later that my eyes were finally back to normal. Isn't it something that having healthy eyes is something to get excited about?
Bob called and was telling me (I think he was warning me that he had plans for Saturday) that he has his sister's birthday party to go to tomorrow. I was happy to hear that, as I want the weekend to myself, since I need to get started on all kinds of things here. DDs were supposed to come over at some point this weekend, but they may have forgotten, which is fine, as it does not have to be done immediately.
Need to get going on that email.
