Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Just a quick post before heading to work.
Ruth- I’m keeping my Ecosport, will be buying out the lease next month. I don’t even have 14,000 miles on it and I really like it.
Dottie - the cruise sounds nice, islands sound a bit disappointing. Glad you had a nice time.
My favorite ice cream place opened up on Monday. Early start, but the weather has been so nice. I’ll stop there sometime this weekend.
Enjoy your day

Good morning. Lots of bright sunshine but we will be getting lots of cooler air and wind in the next few days. Thankfully not what they are getting in Denver or the tornadoes which were all south and east of us. Hoping we might get a little rain, even snow if it’s not measured in feet. We will see 30’s for high this weekend.
Joy, I thought at one time you talked about not being able to keep the Ecosport and you were looking at a different brand. Nice that you can keep this car because you know it and love it! Hope things are going well at work and that you are keeping busy. And you inspire me to go through one closet at a time and really weed out stuff. I don’t need to keep so many sizes.
I have a DF working with me and I’m tracking, watching what I eat, drinking more water, and getting some exercise daily. Going to try and move my Dietician/Nutritionist appt up by a couple weeks. Call the clinic directly to see if they have any openings that I could get to. Even if I need to do zoom I could do that for a 1st meeting. But I’d like to do it sooner than later. And then look into what the Y offers.
Dottie, sorry to hear you didn’t like some of the islands. Which ones did you go to? We haven’t been to the Caribbean since we discovered the Hawaii cruises and bought the timeshares. Our neighbors are in Cancun right now and enjoying that.
Martha, hope all is well with you! Did you go to WW today?
I slept pretty well last night. Stan did not. I need to drink more water before dinnertime though because I had to get up 4 times. But I drank a lot of water in the evening so sure there’s nothing wrong with me. I wish we could figure out something for Stan’s sleep. He can’t do sleeping pills due to hallucinations. A work in progress.
I got a bunch of things listed yesterday and I have more going to be listed today. When I went down and let the dog in I brought up some of the Fisher Price toys to match up with little people and then get listed. Hoping more I listed yesterday sells today.
Ok, dryer beeped and Target sent a message about things out of stock on my order. Gotta see about both. Have a good day all.

Joyce, with only 14,000 miles on your car I think it makes sense to keep it. It sounds like your weather has been very summer/spring like for so early in the season.
Ruth, have you had any sales on the items you listed yesterday. I hope you can find a solution for Stan’s sleeping problem. It will help you also. I can’t drink a lot of fluids with or after dinner because then I’ll be up several times heading to the bathroom.
The islands we visited were Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia, Martinque and St. Kitts. I’m sure all the islands have a pretty side but because we were docked on the Atlantic side of the islands that was were the industry was and therefore it was very rugged terrain and the area was also very poor. The docks themselves had the big barges with lots of shipping containers on them. We enjoyed our visit to Hawaii but for us it is a long trip.
I’m almost all finished with the laundry we wore on the cruise. I will do another 2 loads tomorrow and them it will just be the things we are wearing on a daily basis. I went to the grocery store for a few items and will be set for a few days. I don’t want to purchase too much because we have less than a month here before we head north. Plus we have several events/dinners that we will be going to.

Dottie, we really enjoyed Barbados and St. Lucia. We rented a car with a driver on Barbados and he did a great tour. We didn’t like it either when our ships would dock on the industrial side of islands. Our Bahamas cruise did that on a couple of the islands. And one of the islands in Hawaii they did it too. And from where you parked the rental car for the overnight stay (so had to be Kauai or Maui) you walked through some industrial area to get back to the ship. Did not like that at night. It gives you a bad impression of the island and makes it hard to get to the fun parts.
Nothing sold today, sigh. Hopefully this weekend.

(((Hugs))) Happy Friday! Yes, I did go to ww this morning. Scale went down .8. Not complaining as it is going down instead of up. My walks were broken up but spent an hour walking. I did some standing stretching while waiting for bus. We are to have a sunshine weekend. 🌞🍀🌻🌷 Joy, glad that work continues instead of playing tiddly-winks. Dottie, glad you were able to sit, visit and relax a bit. I agree, industrial area not enjoyable. Ruth, would drinking camomile tea or other sleepytime drinks help with the sleeping? I'm purposely having easier to fix meals this next week. Other things around the house, along with my own procrastination have been taking up my time. Meals for the next week - soup & sandwich, eggroll bowl, spaghetti with salad, pizza with salad, beef stew with biscuits, salmon patty with tater bites and Italian sausage egg squares. I don't have as much to buy this wk as most already here. Tonight's dinner is sushi spinach salad - imitation crab meat, spinach, avocado, sweet pepper, carrot, edamame shelled, cucumber and a little bit of nori to garnish. It's a new recipe that seemed appropriate for the warmer weather today. Will try to be online at least once this weekend. Hope all have a good weekend! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀(((Hugs)))🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
