This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning and happy FRIDAY!
Right on schedule, the thunderstorms arrived in the wee hours this morning. The county just to the north of us (very near my gym) has already had a tornado warning this morning. Yikes! So far we're just having the thunderstorms, but I'm not going to complain as it could surely be worse. I think we just need to hang on for another 3 hours and then the worst will have passed us by. Fingers crossed. At least DH is WFH today, so I don't need to worry about him out on the road in all of this mess.
Susie - I'm most definitely keeping my focus poolside, Lol. I'm going to have that badboy up and filled at the very first chance. I mean, it'll warm up eventually and until then, I might teach myself to enjoy a cold plunge. haha!
What does everybody have going on this weekend? Nothing specific planned here ATM. We're trying to stay flexible and know that we might have to do some in-law related stuff. But honestly, I'd love to just have a weekend to relax a little and do what we want to do, since we have to make that journey Monday and since DH was already there 3 times earlier in the week. That being said, we'll do what we need to do. I think I'm going to put on my thinking cap and try to do some meal prep for them that I can deliver Monday when we do the Dr. appt. trip.
Anyway, I hope everyone will be having a good day to end the week and kick off the weekend.

Hello All - went to my gym class; we used hand weights (dumbbells) and the TRX ropes. Next was the walk with DD and then I had to go to COSTCO to pick up a big sheet cake and cookies for the St. Patrick's Day party at the clubhouse tomorrow. This afternoon was a bridge party at the clubhouse and I am hanging at home for the rest of the day!
Lora - It had just started to sprinkle as I left the clubhouse from the bridge party. I hope you stay safe and have no horrible weather.

Susie - goodness! Always some fun party or get together in your community. How long are you committed to be the cake, cookie & coffee lady? Ha!
Our weather played out exactly as predicted for us today. Heavy rain and thunderstorms until about noon. Then it slacked off and dwindled down to nothing but the gloomy hung around all day. I don't think we're supposed to have an more significant rain until Friday, so hopefully we'll have a decent weekend and most of the week.
We're planning the gym & track tomorrow morning, but beyond that, I'm not really sure.
