Hello, friends. It’s been a relatively smooth week, both for eating and life. I’m grateful.
Kathy, welcome home! I hope you are rested and refreshed after your tropical getaway. I’m so amazed and impressed that your weight remained stable while indulging on your trip! I would absolutely love for TRE to be as effective for me as it is for you. I did limit my eating to 6 and 8 hour windows in January, but didn’t lose a single ounce. I’m up about 7 lbs from 18 months ago and I just can’t seem to make the scale budge.
Nancy, I hope you start to turn the corner soon. This has really wiped you out. I’m glad you have appointments coming up.
Lori, how did the remainder of your week go?
Meg, was the book Kathy mentioned available at your library? I’m on a waiting list for it. I’m sorry you’re struggling. I will pray for a good day for you.

C134D1 - Finally a clean night. Brushed my teeth at about 11 PM and nothing to eat after that. Slept very well too, no coughing. I felt more like myself yesterday after pool. Hoping I've turned the corner. New TV will be installed this AM and then a free day until the St Patrick's Dinner Dance this evening.
Jan - I ordered a Kindle sample of Fast, Feast, Repeat. I doubt fasting is for me, but it can't hurt to give it a read. There's always something to learn in these books. If I'm interested after reading the sample, I'll buy the book. So glad you had a smooth week. Wish I could say the same. I was going to wait til Monday to get back on track, but decided instead to track around the two clubhouse meals this weekend and stick to the no food after brushing teeth rule. That should give me a good head start on the new week. Enough is enough!

C80. D8. No TRE yesterday and close to a stress induced binge. My dogs ran off and one is old arthritic, deaf and blind. I waited up for them until 12:30. Sitting at the kitchen table eating PB with a spoon 🙄. She is in great pain this morning. Stupid dog. My fault - I had them out with me by a campfire and they slipped quietly away into the night.
Jan - when I started fasting I was in the obese range and now I'm 2 pounds below overweight. I'm at the very top range for my height. I had a lot more to lose than you. You are muscular and lean and probably already closer to the middle.of your healthy weight range.
I'm happy to be even 1 pound below overweight!! I've been obese for decades. I'm 30 pounds heavier than I was in college (undergrad) and 10-15 pounds heavier than when I got married at 30, but don't care. Hmmm...maybe I'll try on my wedding dress 🤔.
Nancy - so glad you had a clean evening and are feeling more like yourself. Hope you find something of interest in Fast, Feast, Repeat.
Meg- glad you found the book ay the the library and hope.it gives you a little umph in your eating plan.
Lori- Happy Saturday! Is your Mom and neighbor still going to the senior center regularly. Hope you have a nice weekend ahead of you.

Good news. I had the singles dine-in for tomorrow but it's not until next Sunday. TV up and running.
Kathy - OMG I know what that's like when a dog runs off. Happy he's home and hopefully the pain will be short lived. Whoever said life is easy?

Today was a good day. Started with a nice 4 mile, moderate hike with GF on a new to us trail. At the end, we sat having a cup of coffee by the river….so peaceful….
Later in the afternoon, I took Mom out for a little stroll to get some fresh air.and soak up some sunshine….
I didn’t realize it was so late….BB tomorrow
