This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning and Happy Weekend!
Just popping in to get us started. Nothing new around here. We're still planning for workouts today, but beyond that not much else is definite on the schedule at this point.
I hope everyone is having favorable weather and a really great weekend ensues.

Good Afternoon All - walked with DD, then had to get to the clubhouse to set up for tonight.
Lora - DH is wondering the same thing as far as your question about how long with I be the cake, cookie, and coffee lady? This event has been a major time involved event.
I told DH I was thinking about volunteering at a local food kitchen and said, "What are you going to give up in order to have time to do that!!" Ha HOpe you get your workout in today.
We have another lovely day so I am going to get some sun time in before I have to go back up at 4:00.

Susie - haha! I see that your DH and I were thinking along the same lines. I don't see how you could add one more thing without dropping something. Don't get me wrong, I love that you're busy and active and so engaged with your classes, your community and your activities. I'm just not sure that you'll won't run out of hours in the day.  It's turned out to be a decent day here. It was very overcast earlier, but the sun popped out early this afternoon and we got our workouts done. The Amazon truck just delivered the new pool (did I mention that we'd donated to old one to a local pet rescue last year? I saw in our community FB group that they were looking for something to be able to do swim therapy with some of the dogs, so since we weren't using it, we offered up ours - we were wanting something a little bigger anyway. This year it's a 14ft. round (last time was 12 ft.), and this one is 46 inches deep (last one was 33). We really weren't sure exactly what we wanted, but saw this one at a pretty good price, and since we got it early, I think we'll definitely get plenty of use out of it this summer. The other one we bought in July, so really only used it for a few months. Anyway, we've had dinner and are just relaxing a bit now. Not sure exactly what all we have happening tomorrow, but I know we really need to get on our taxes. We used to be so good about doing them early, but that hasn't happened for several years now. Lol |

Hi Everyone,
I was out a good portion of today, first doing a few errands and a quick run home. The get together that my two work friends and I planned a few weeks ago was postponed due to the mirror being stolen. Our former director was able to join us too so it was a nice meal. We ate at a Mexican restaurant that was closer to my one friend's house as she said she wasn't going to have her car. We got there and was ringing her bell and no one was coming to the door. I texted her when we got there saying we got there early. She wasn't home yet so we just met her at the restaurant. Her boyfriend dropped her off and then I took her home.
Stopped at the grocery for some things and just relaxing.
Tommorow I plan to get to the gym for a while and I have an appointment for my taxes.
Susie, hope the party turn-out is successful.
Lora, nice that you donated the pool for the animal rescue. My gym has a pool. This past summer I didn't go in it as I went to the outdoor pool frequently.
My friend's brother has taken a downturn in his health this past week and it is sudden and severe. If you could keep some thoughts and prayers in your mind for him that would be appreciated.
