Good morning, Well, Happy St. Patrick's Day! We are leaving in about 30 min to drive down and cheer on DS29 and Kate in their half marathon. I am putting a corned beef roast in the slow cooker. I didn't invite anyone over for dinner....I needed to see what today was going to look like work-wise (sad, I know but it won't be this way much longer). I am thinking that I will "last minute" invite the kids over. Maybe DM....we will see. She was kind of complaining on Friday about being too busy and kind of out of sorts. I should ask her and probably will. How terrible of me! Anyway, yesterday was a good a day--the run was good, it warmed up to 71, and we drove Ruby in to pick up Subway sandwiches for dinner (I know, aren't we fancy??) So a friend yesterday texted and she and her husband want to possibly buy my car for their daughter (college bound). We are going to meet them next Sunday on our way home from the airport so that they can drive it, etc. That would be good! It is such a good car and I have taken good care of it. I wish that DS24 would consider buying it for himself but he has his mind set on eventually buying a truck. Anyway, selling the car would FORCE me to make a decision on what I buy next. Lately I have really struggled with decisions! I think that, in my mind, I am thinking that I am retiring and that I won't buy anything big ever again. Who knows why! I know that we are fine, but I am just so conscious of spending. Anyway, first world problems, right?
Sue: Oh, I hope that your back is better! I wonder if you could look up some smooth, stretching types of exercises that you could do in the pool. I feel like the water just makes it all smoother. I do hope that it feels better. I am so glad that the kids are having a good time in CO! Like Carole, I heard about big storms coming in but it sounds like it all worked out perfectly...nice! Oh, podcasts. So, you have an iphone I think? iphone has its own app called "Podcasts" I think. See if you can find it on your phone. It comes loaded already. From that app you can search topics and find podcasts. The one that I really like is called Zoe Nutrition but I also like Ologies, Ted Talks Daily, and Smartless for a few others. I do not have an iphone, I downloaded an app called Pocket Casts that I find easy to use (you can probably download it to iphone but I am sure that Apple doesn't like you doing that). You will probably have to learn things like how to get to the next podcast, etc. but it is pretty intuitive. In your car, you can use the "auxiliary" or "media" option to play them there...I love listening to them on my way to work. I hope that this is helpful to you. Yay for Jason taking care of things outside. We also have some cooler weather moving in next week. Hope that you feel better today and have a good day!
Jo: So good to see you yesterday! Oh, I am sorry about Emilie and now having to think about the lake. I do wonder about Emilie in the future and her seizures. I wonder if, as a mom, there is someone you can talk to about their adult children who obviously want some independence--- I don't have the answers but really do feel for all of you trying to figure this all out. Hey, did your car get fixed and was it under warranty? I am trying to remember but I am thinking you were still waiting for it last time you posted. How are you feeling with new meds and all? It sounds like you have a lot of things on your mind, but hoping that they are slowly getting worked out. Thinking about you!
Carole: I hope that you had a good time in NYC!
Christine: I hope that the party house is calm now, LOL.
Jenny: How was your meeting? Did you get to work in the yard?
Okay, time to go. Have a good day ladies and I hope to pop in later.

Good Morning everyone and Happy St Patricks day
I too and joining Gabrielle and putting a corned beef in the crock pot today. I'm also going to go out and get my lawn mowed and get out the pressure washer out and do the patio. We have family coming up in a couple weeks, my aunts and uncles and one cousin are coming up for my dad's 86th bday and I'm hosting a dinner on that weekend so I need to get as much yard work done as I can and I'm hoping we have good weather that weekend, it would be nice to be outside.
Oh yes, Fred is not a nice person for being that high up on the food chain. Yes. Fred kind of does what Fred wants whether it's right or wrong or against the law. If he has a problem with someone he targets them and pretty much makes them quit and if they don't he set's them up to fire them. So far, knock on wood. he hasn't come after me and hasn't given me a hard time, he kind of likes me I guess. Who knows!!! All I know is he scares me so I just kind of stay out of his way. WWOW reported him to HR 5 years ago and he demoted her. Miranda (aka Barbie) say's she's not going anywhere and that he's targeting her and he really is trying to get her to quit. She only ordered all that brand new furniture for her office because she wanted to piss him off. She's a rowdy one that girl but I have a feeling she's not going down with out a fight. She also said out loud so we could all hear that if HR doesn't do anything this time around about him and she looses her job that they better call the company lawyer cause it's going to court. She is just fighting for her job, she's got every right to have a safe work area free of all harrassment and she is being targeted, it's really obvious so we will see. She's been documenting everything and the funny thing of it and she proved it is that the mistakes that they wrote her up for are not hers and she's got proof of it on paper. So I think they are messing with the wrong person. We shall see.

We went to the potluck last night and Kerry got to visit with his high school friends. I made stuffed mushrooms and ended up just getting a peanut butter and chocolate cream pie from Costco. The mushrooms were really good, I got the recipe from Food network and they were Ina Garten's sausage stuffed mushrooms, so yummy. They also had ribs so Kerry was in heaven. They have some acreage out in the country and grow hazelnuts and it was really pretty so we sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather.
Gabrielle I hope DS and Kate have fun on their run. I've been doing my mat faithfully today I won't do it cause I'll be outside getting lots of steps in just mowing and cleaning up the yard. I bought 2 new flower plants to plant, luckily my honeysuckle didn't have to much damage from last weekends winds. I need to rake up the pine cones that fell out, what a pain in the a$$ that is. That's great you might have a buyer for your car. I love your car it's really nice, I have always loved BMW's myself. I hope your enjoying your day and not working to much. Yes, I went to my meeting yesterday and had a lot of fun, I just love all our members for that time slot, we call ourselves "Team 10:30" cause that is the time our meeting is.
OK I got to go and get my Corned beef in the crock pot be right back

Sue glad you got your hair cut and shampoo and scalp massage always so nice to have. Glad you can help Sarah with her highlights it's nice to have in the summer. Oh I bet Jason is chomping at the bit to get out there and get to Gardening. We are lucky we have today to work a little on the yard. I heard so many mowers going yesterday and I wanted to get out there but we had that BBQ to go to so we opted for today. Even now I'm ready to go but I need to get some breakfast going and then I can.
Carole hope you had a good time in the city yesterday.
Jo we always get a good return for our taxes, with Kerry's little side business and a rental house it helps a lot but this year Oregon got a kicker back from last year so that helped. I agree with your about Em staying home by herself, just in case she has a seizure. Doe's she have them often?
Christine I'm glad to see Jess is coming up and going through some of her dad's things, she might want something to remember him by. I'm glad your getting the wedding venues all decided on. It sounds like fun.
OK I need to get going, enjoy your day

Good Morning ☼ It IS still morning, as I go back to catch up a bit.
Gabrielle: Thanks for starting us off yesterday. I am sure your Dept. Superintendent is getting nervous! It's about time they see ALL you do for your job. Glad you had nice weather yesterday - we have (almost) perfect weather for NYC. It was warm, but when we were not in the direct sun, it was chilly. Glad I decided NOT to leave my sweatshirt on the bus. Yes, Ken is enjoying his Friday nights, and I am happy for him to have that to do. He DID ask if I wanted to go along... But we all know I am not a ball player, and it's good for him to have some time with other people!
Hope your run went well yesterday - have fun cheering on the kids. Will they run together? Or separate as the run begins?
Jo: Sorry you didn't sleep well, yup, terrible to wake up with so many things going through your head. {{{hugs}}} Oh dear... your little Em is growing up. I know it would be such a hard decision, to leave her home alone, but then again letting her grow up to be independent. Oh Girl, you are definitely between a rock, and a hard place on that one. Good luck!! Steve must think this sounds like an OK plan? How old is Emilie?
Thanks, the day on NYC was actually my friend Deb's idea. She has been wanting to go for a long - long time! I got almost 15k steps. I was pretty proud of myself! I was not sore, or having trouble walking... the other 3 were all a mess after just walking from the bus to Central Park! LOL I knew then it would be an interesting day! Our tickets were for 12:15, we got off the bus a little before 11 and they insisted on heading to the park. Ummm, yeah it was a 6 block walk... up from 53rd St to 59th... so I knew it wouldn't take an hour! They were afraid we'd be late. Thankfully the carriage we had reserved was not overly busy, so he took us early! One woman, Cheryl... she even goes to the gym, every day - 7 days a week - only walks on the TM. So she walks every day, and was a hot mess by the time we walked 6 blocks. Clearly her gym time is not doing her much good. LOL
Friday night with CPAP went much better, but last night was (again) a challenge. I will message the Dr. today to ask about lessening the pressure.
Sue: Ouch, sorry the back was still flaring yesterday. What about your ribs? Did that work itself out and has now landed in the back? My back is achy today, but I swear it's this desk chair! I think I will swap out chairs today, and see if a straight back might be better for me. Nice to help Sarah with gift certificates to get her hair done.
LOL Yes, we got a little too close to the parade at one point. While the parade route was posted as 5th Ave., it didn't mention a couple of side streets! Then OH BOY our 2nd trip through Times Square was total bedlam!! The parade was over, and folks had moved to there I think!
My batch of donuts usually makes about 7 dozen. Depending on the dough! LOL I too thought waiting for insurance would be lengthy... the woman even said it takes about 2 weeks, and if you haven't heard back by then, give us a call!
Oh I do hope your back and side are doing better today!
HAPPY St. Patrick's Day
Gabrielle: Thanks for starting us off again today. So glad you can go cheer on the kids. I am wishing I had planned a corned beef dinner today, but, since Tracy did one last night it would be silly to do one today. Ken did end up going, but "forgot" to bring me leftovers! I'm sure the kids and DM won't mind if they get a last minute invite.
Oh I do hope your friends do buy the car, and it will force you to make a decision for your retirement car! Yes, thanks, I had a great day in NYC. Like I said earlier - it was interesting! LOL I could literally just walk and walk and walk, kept finding myself ahead of the group and slowing down to stay together.
Jenny: Oh My... mowing lawns and power washing already!! I need a new power washer this spring. Have fun getting ready for your Dad's BD party!!
GO BARBIE! I don't blame her for fighting back!! I think the company and HR must be sick of having to cover all or Fred's antics!
So, as you know I had a good time in the city yesterday. I'm looking forward to going back in May with the family. I know that day, I will NOT be "in charge" of what to see and do! LOL So that will make it even better!
I heard of a ride called RISE NY, that I hope to do someday. It may not fit into our plan for May, but it looks and sounds awesome! My travel girls yesterday wouldn't spend the $50.00 for it.
We had planned on Gordon Ramsey's Fish & Chips for lunch, but, well, the girls needed a break before we got that far down, so we ate at Applebee's! LOL Whatever! For "dinner" which was really just apps & drinks, I got them into an Irish Pub! LOL As Deb opened the door, she said "Oh it's kind of loud in there"... But I said it will be fine! LOL Hey I didn't get my Gordon Ramsey's for lunch, I was not missing out on something different for dinner!! Then we HAD to head back to the bus. (again) they were sooooo worried about how long it would take to walk back! I said it won't take an hour - but they insisted - so we got back to the bus 45 minutes early! UGH! I mean, it was fine - just meant another 45 minutes of just sitting added to the 3 1/2 hour ride home!
Don't get me wrong, I'd probably travel with them again, but another time - another place, and I will FORCE them to make some decisions about what they want to do!
Jenny: I hope your walking legs are READY for September! LOL I'm pretty sure we will be walking a lot, with everywhere you'd like to see while you are here! LOL I know we will be fine, and walking won't bother you... I can't wait!!!
OK Well, it is not morning any longer! LOL Guess I had better get myself dressed and figure out what is happening today. I know there is laundry and dishes! They never seem to go away. Someday I hope to just do smaller loads every day and not wait until it's a whole day's worth of work!
♥hugs♥

Afternoon all...back is still giving me a fit...it's so odd, nothing I have ever had before. Sometimes I can get in a position where I don't notice it at all then I do something as simple as reaching for my coffee on the end table right beside the recliner and BAM...it flies in!! So odd. I'm not heading to the pool tomorrow, not because of my back because I could just walk and do legs but Sarah's birthday is Tuesday and the boys will be with Josh....she would normally have them for her birthday but it works out since she has an eye doctor appointment after work for Josh to just have them...fits his schedule better and we will just celebrate Sarah's birthday tomorrow and I'll head to the pool on Tuesday instead. Jason will pick up cupcakes on his way home and we are having "breakfast for supper"...asked her what she wanted and she said "if dad will make sausage, then French Toast for supper"...so that is what it will be! She said not to so anything but we need to celebrate just a little!! Can't believe my baby will be 38 at 1:59am on Tuesday...where have the years gone??
Have been getting a few things done today....got down to the basement and went through Sarah's freezer and tossed some stuff, making the chicken breasts tonight for dinner and the rest went back into the freezer and organized to use stuff first as needed.....next weekend is chicken wings....
I HAVE NEVER MADE CHICKEN WINGS SO I NEED HELP....please, anyone who has made them, please share some recipes and secrets!! We are not "wing people" so I never made them but Josh loved them and surprisingly they are still vacuum sealed and look great so next weekend we will make them.....wish me luck!!
Carole...love your pictures of your trip yesterday to NYC...looks like perfect weather and a great day!! You really did see a lot of places in a short time...what time did you arrive in NYC and then head home...I know you left very early!!
OK Carole...I'm confused?? I thought you were only going to have a nasal thing for your CPAP?? I'm sure in time you will get used to it....might be a matter of adjusting the straps to make it tighter so it doesn't slip and leak?? No clue here, neither of us have a CPAP but like I said, I know many with them and they do say that once they get used to it, it really helps. Greg actually got a new one while he was here doing the electrical work for the addition and he had a time of adjustment and he has had his for 15 years or more....You'll adjust, I know you will!!
Honestly Carole....if the rainfall is "normal" Jason doesn't need much water except when he plants and "waters things in" and when he fertilizes things mid-season and "waters is" the fertilizer....it's only if we have a dry spell like we did last year...we had weeks with no rain at all and some things really needed a drink....while all the neighbors, including the folks who bought the house told him to just help himself to the water, he doesn't wany to take advantage. He has 3 big barrels and he's got the spouting going into the one with the spigot on it and unless we get tons of rain that will likely be the only one he needs but if we get a lot of rain, he has a flexible tubing to attach to the spouting to re-route it to the next one...and then the next if needed...he will need to dip that water out with a bucket but he doesn't mind....he just loves his garden and being self-sufficient is his thing!!
LOL...yes, I remember the wait for "dumb David"....what a PITA....I expect to see our refund in the account in the next week or so...I did the taxes last weekend and people have been saying their refunds are back in about 2 weeks....not doing anything with it be saving for paint, curtains and any other things we need to get the house finally finished....but then again, Jason isn't painting until he retires in January! The only thing he plans to do this summer in the "down time" from the garden is stain/seal the natural wood of the doors and closet in our master bath. Hopefully you will get your forms back and can send them off soon.....glad the store isn't an issue this year except for claiming Ken's income. Will say, I was nervous this year doing them with adding SS for Jason...but I figured if I could handle the sale of the house last year then SS is no biggie!!
Carole....in the pool I use a "noodle" for all my leg exercises and a foam "weight" for all my arm exercises....I honestly just do all the arm exercises I used to do in my toning class years ago...bicep curls, upright rows, chest flies (except on my belly pushing down through the water)....the noodle I put under my ankle with a straight leg and push it down to the wall then slowly up and repeat, then I put it under my foot and with my knee bent and push down...the hardest one for me is to stand with my belly to the wall, noodle under my ankle and push down to the wall and slowly up...I googled water exercises to get more ideas but just saved them...I also jog, tread water, lunge, cross-country ski across the pool forward and backwards....surprising how different forward and backward feel. Hope that helps!!
I only have the two stainless and the gravy ladle...they came in a set many years ago and I use them all the time. I love them and make it so much easier to figure things out...even when you make a recipe, plug it into MFP and then you see the serving size...I can easily adjust according to the scoop I use. I also buy the storage containers by size, cup, 1/2 cup, etc....anything to make planning and prepping easier. Yes, I'm not tracking diligently but still know the healthier portion size for my "go to" meals. My PC scale is also in the drawer, easy to grab and weigh out proteins....
Yes, I agree that the WW article was a man and we all know men lose differently and often faster and easier than females but what I liked is his goals...they were not stringent....they were live-able, they were more the "5 days a week", nothing too overwhelming and he could still live a "normal" life and still be healthy but not perfect....so many times we get in our heads we need to be good and perfect every day....well, we aren't going to be....life happens....I thought it was a good dose of "reality" when it comes to this journey...we all still need to live our lives, interact with others, cook for others, rely on others when we visit to cook healthy choices but if they don't...it's OK, the journey is not over....we all want to be thinner I'm sure but my biggest goal is my overall health and if that means I hang around this weight the rest of my life but am still healthy in the eyes of my doctor and I'm doing all I can to keep my "numbers" where they need to be, keep my strength up and my bones strong....I can be this size...I can live with it....I want to grow old and experience family, friends, adventures.....I want to live the healthiest life I can and need to stop focusing on the weight so much but more on the health....healthier proteins, healthier portions, moving more....if the weight comes off AWESOME...but for me, I cannot make that the focus now....I'm almost 64 and want to be 84...even 94 to see great grandchildren and if I'm blessed, great, great grands....but that is about overall health, and NOT the number on MY scale!!

Gabrielle....thanks for starting us off yesterday...we did have a nice day yesterday...as I mentioned, not quite as warm as earlier in the week but low to mid 60's is definitely nice weather for us this time of year!! We did have sun and I'm on the east coast and we all know now that Carole had a beautiful day in NYC....seems that Friday was our ugly day and we got a nice but cooler weekend!
How cool that Tyler and Kate have worked hard to do their first 1/2 marathon...yes, quite the accomplishment. I'm glad Hannah is finally getting healthy to be able to finally complete her first soon....she has been trying to do one for a while now.....Sounds like the Deputy Supt is still being "enlightened" as to how much you actually DO for the district and what big shoes he has to now fill. Bummer a couple more applicants dropped out. Will be good to have the interviews behind the district. Will you be responsible for a lot of the training before you leave?? I know you are getting to the busy time of year and training I'm sure is not something you want to add to your already full schedule. Not sure how it will all work for you....
Honestly Carole and Gabrielle...my M&M habit is YEARS in the making.....I used to actually eat all 13 because that was a "serving" but then as time passed I took one away, then another and another...now I still love them, still enjoy them and a 1/2 serving is enough!! It has stopped me from mindlessly just reaching in the bag and tossing 2 or 3 in my mouth over and over until I'm well past the serving size. I pull out one of every color, yes I'm "anal Annie" and then I toss the "odd" one of the 13 in my mouth as I close the bag...I put it in the back of my desk drawer that I don't need to get into during my day....it's a 17 year habit that stuck!! LOL!! Well....actually 16 years, 7 months....since I started WW August of 2007!!
Jo....bummer you didn't sleep well...will admit since my back has acted up, me either.....Stress is an ugly thing...that is what usually keeps me awake at night....I usually go to bed and fall asleep no problem but as soon as I wake up to pee, I'm awake tossing and turning trying to solve all the world's problems...which I know I can't but I still can't turn my brain off! Neither of us are Irish so today is just another day her!! LOL!! Glad you have a low key weekend and hopefully you got better sleep last night!
I love that Emilee wants to stay home with the dogs to let Steve go but I'm with you, I too would worry about her seizures. She might be right, it could be the fact she got up early but once a mom, always a mom and I would be worrying too! I get it, DBIL is NOT the most reliable but hopefully if you tell him your concerns he will be a bit more "on the ball" and keep an eye out on Emilee. Even if he doesn't know what to do, he can call 911. Such a dilemma....hug to you mom! ♥♥♥
Here too Jo...it seems like in the last couple days all the early flowering trees are in bloom, the forsythias are gorgeous and the HUGE tulip poplar I see on my way to work is awesome!! But that also means allergies for many. My house is one big "sneeze fest"!! Jackson, Sarah and Jason are the worst.....
LOL...I guess I've just gotten used to the treat of my 7 M&Ms.....like I said, it started as a full portion of 13 and gradually I worked my way down to just one of each color and the 1 bonus while I close the bag! I enjoy a piece of chocolate every day....I have some Dove chocolates or Lindor truffles and they are about 60 calories....I just have one when I have those....they are in my stocking at Christmas a lot of times and I enjoy the treat....I actually like the M&Ms better because I can space them out during the day....they sit in that little green cap and every now and then I grab one....sometimes I honestly get to the end of the day and I have 4-5 left....I don't crave them so it's truly a treat.
Gabrielle....thanks for starting us off this morning!! WTG Tyler and Kate!! I'm sure they will have a great day and be proud of their accomplishments!! No corned beef here because I'm the only one that likes it!! Nope...not too many more "work work Sundays" in your future!! I think you should ask DM and leave it in her corner....she can decide if she wants to say yes or just stay home!!
OK...dinner is ready....will hopefully pop back later!

I'm back...yummy dinner of grilled chicken breast with one of the new Penzey spice blends on it....I had several that were in the middle bedroom because I couldn't fit them in the cabinet in the old kitchen....not sure which one I had because Jason didn't keep track of where they were on the grill but mine was yummy!! Added steamed broccoli and cauliflower....think probably a 0 point dinner on WW....didn't quite finish the whole meal so put it in a container, added a little more chicken and veggies for a nice lunch probably on Tuesday. I made the Cream of Crab soup so will take that tomorrow and will bring for the guys and Gloria....Tonya says she has a shell fish allergy but I don't believe anything that falls out of her mouth so her loss!!
LOL Gabrielle....yes, fancy you were....not quite as "fancy as Applebee's on a date night" though!! Have to admit I do love that song...got a catchy tune!! It's one of those tunes I turn up loud and sing along when it comes on the radio!! Not a huge Walker Hayes fan but I do love that one!! Yes indeed...if you sell your care, then you HAVE to decide what you want for the next one!! I think most all guys go through a "truck phase"!! Yes, you are retiring but you are still young...I'm sure there will be another car in your future. It is odd how the looming of retirement really does make you think differently. I'm sure you and Ed planned well for retirement and between pensions, retirements, SS and other investments you will be "living the same life style" you are now. I know that is what we planned...we don't need to live "higher" than we do now....we just want to live the same life we do now and be able to travel and do a few fun things along the way.....nothing "high on the hog"!!
Thanks for the idea about stretching exercises for the pool....as I mentioned because of celebrating Sarah's birthday tomorrow I won't go to the pool until Tuesday so that gives me time....it really is the weirdest thing...never had it happen before. Yes, I have an iPhone so I will have to check out the app...LOL, with only 12 minutes to work I really don't need to listen to much of anything...I usually just catch the weather and local news on the local country station and a song or two!! I love my short commute!
Jenny....Jason will be mowing this week too....he was going to do it today if he got to it...he had a few other things he had to get done before mowing....can't believe how long the grass has gotten in these last few warm days!! I'm sure your family is NOT coming to check out your yard...but I know what you mean about getting it looking nice for company!! When is your Dad's birthday?? My dad would be 87 this year but not until November!
LOL...while Fred sounds like an A$$, Barbie sounds like she's just as bad....I would never think of ordering all the new stuff just to pi$$ off a person of authority....first off, it would NEVER fly at Sheridan....you get what you get and if you want something else you buy it yourself!! It sounds like she is definitely not going down w/o a fight. Unfortunately in PA, they can fire you "just because"....they really don't need a reason. I'm guessing Oregon is NOT the same. Work will definitely be interesting for you for a bit....just keep your head down, do your job and hopefully Fred won't decide to target you for some odd reason!!
Sounds like you had a fun night at the potluck with Kerry's HS friends. I'm sure the area was pretty and nice place to just sit and enjoy visiting with old classmates!! Funny how the older we get all those HS clicks no longer exist....all those "popular" people are just like the rest of us...old, graying, wrinkling, few extra pounds....all are on even playing field and no longer a hierarchy of "coolness"!!
So glad the honeysuckle survived the winds from the other day....what kind of plants did you buy to plant this year?? I agree, no mat needed today if you are planning on mowing and getting the yardwork done!!
Carole...sounds like you might have slept in a bit after your long day in the city yesterday!! Glad Ken is enjoying his Friday night Pickle Ball....I've heard lots of people play but honestly not sure what exactly it is.....I hear it's a cross between tennis and ping pong??? Hey, if pickle ball is not your thing...so be it! That can be Ken's thing and you can do something else!! Yes, now that you are retired and he is semi-retired you need interaction with others and those others don't need to be the same....he has his circle, you can have yours!
WOW Carole...15k steps....that's a lot of walking!! Will say I'm a bit surprised your friends struggle so much yesterday!! Especially Cheryl who goes to the gym regularly??? Yes indeed, 6 blocks is NOT that far!! Glad they were able to take you a little early since you were there! Glad Friday was a good night with the CPAP...I'm sure it will take a bit to just adjust to it every night...won't hurt to message the doctor to see if the pressure can be adjusted?? Oh yes, a desk chair can make or break you....I've had some really crappy ones over the years. Have to admit as I read more about your adventures in NYC and the fear of "not making it in time" from your friends I laughed....oh well!! It looks like it was a nice day. I will admit, I'd be bummed to have lunch at Applebee's and not Gordon Ramsey's place. He can be a PITA and obnoxious but I would love to eat at one of his restaurants. I love him on Master Chef and Master Chef Jr....he is so patient with the kids especially....he instantly kicks into "dad mode"! Maybe in May you can get there!!
Jenny...is that Rose your reward after all your hard work in the yard today?? Will say it's a bit chilly here for sitting outside ...not bad out there but not "sitting outside with a glass of wine" weather!! More the "work in the yard weather" with a sweatshirt on too!
All caught up I think....waves Karen....I'm sure between school and the upcoming wedding you are busy.....pop in and let us know how things are going!! I forget, what is the actual wedding date for Isaac and Marissa??
Sarah should be back soon with the boys....all the leftovers are put away and the dishwasher is loaded and ready to run after everyone gets a shower...we usually run it when we go to bed....laundry is done and we are all ready to wind down and call it a day here. Sarah has to work OT for the next 2 weeks at this point so she will be heading to bed early....with OT she starts at 5:00am....so while the boys will be up after she goes to bed, they will be in quiet mode so she can get to sleep at a decent hour....Jackson doesn't get up until 6:30 and Kellen gets up at 7:00 so they don't need to go to bed at 8:00-8:30 at this point!!
Sweet dreams all....hope everyone had a great day!! Mine was very low key and as productive as I could make it while still pampering my back/side/ribs.....hope everyone gets to bed at a decent time, gets a good night's sleep and starts the new week off on the right foot!!
Thanks Carole...it's not really my "back" that is the problem...the usual spot that flares up is fine....the rib issue is actually on my left rib cage and the back issue is usually my right lower back....it's so odd. I think I'm going to look for some stretches as Gabrielle suggested to try in the pool on Tuesday to hopefully work it out!
