MJ Lol. . . Of course, Chicken Galore comes to mind when ordering take out for St. Patrickβ Day. Whatever you ordered, I bet it was tasty. Glad you were able to watch a couple of races and didnβt let MBβs emails take over your weekend.

Mondayβs intentions Meet my sisters for lunch at a local Italian restaurant. Will probably order wedding soup. Put my menu planning in play. Am thinking that mu weakest link is lunch. To make it simple, I will alternate healthy soups, burgers, wraps or pits, and leftovers. Make a quick grocery run for celery & carrots to add to my 15-bean soup. Look into my Silver Sneakers benefit.
B: Pink lemonade flavored Gk yogurt, strawberries, walnut pieces L: TBD. Maybe wedding soup D: pan seared center cut pork chops, seasoned oven potatoes, roasted carrots S: hummus, vegetables

June - Enjoy lunch with your sisters. MJ - Good luck with the MB stuff. Hope you at least get an answer on the dental for Russ LaDonna - Hope you got lots of snuggle time with Renee. Cathy - Hope you and M got your errands done. Waving to Bee and Ann We took a late lunch over to Marge and Amby. She hates is there. It's clean, bright, food I saw didn't look too bad. A little worn but most are around here. They lost both her and Amby's clothes. Supposedly in laundry to be marked since Friday. And her hearing aids can't be found. Unfortunately, weekends are not the best time to get answers in a place like that. Amby does not need to be there. It's only because there is no one else at home and he is uncomfortable being alone for long stretches of time. And she can now walk and get around so she should be eligible for care at home. She has a call into the case worker to meet this morning. I am a little nervous about going back to work. My boss already asked Tom to do all the payroll this week so I can just focus on the backed up reports without pressure. I need to do the rest of my exercises and then a short nap. I will miss those naps when I go back full time!
S - Usual coffee B - Carrot cake oatmeal w/cream cheese frosting L - Chicken Caesar salad D - Lamb burger, tzatziki, tomato and cucumber salad

Susi You are right on schedule, and naturally you would still be nervous. Thereβs no way to know how returning work will be. Happy that your boss and coworkers are supportive. Good for Tom to bear the brunt of the data workload. I imagine that just being at work will be tiring in itself.
Hope that your visit cheered Marge a bit even if she didnβt say so. Misplaced laundry seems like it is always a NH or AL issue. Hard to understand how laundry labeled with someoneβs name gets lost. And, in general, getting answers at NH or AL anytime can be difficult. Weekends are the pits.
Am looking forward to lunch and catching up with my sisters in person.

Good morning, all!!
Prayers still going up for those in the path of storms... many, MANY prayers... there are many, MANY storms... and fires, too, that never seem to go away...
Prayers for all our loved ones who are in particular need... especially Susi and Ann...

Yesterday didn't start out pretty but it got nicer (but still cold) as the day progressed. Our traditional St. Patrick's Day take-away from βοΈπ Chicken Galore πβοΈ was all that we hoped it would be, and we have leftovers to repurpose for a couple of dinners this week. NASCAR cup series ran in the afternoon and while not the wreck-fest that some of those short-track races can be, it was definitely a tire-trasher. NASCAR even had to allow each team one extra set since they were deteriorating so quickly π±. Before I went to bed I finished up the YM MTS and Parent Newsletter and got them both emailed out so THAT job is done for March (we had the parade as our first gathering and had put everyone on "save the date" for this coming Saturday 3/23 so everyone was well aware of the WHEN and just needed some final details.
My Short List of Little Things worked out pretty OK and I've decided to keep those πleprechaunsπ and π§ββοΈπ§ββοΈSpring fairiesπ§ββοΈπ§ββοΈ on retainer for the rest of the month. Today we were up early so I could take Son#1 to the train; he was chatty when he came in at 6:15 so I didn't get here. Then I had a urologist appt at 8:30 AM. THAT regular checkup went just fine and in fact was even better than fine. She told me that she was particularly impressed with <ahem> how good things look. That's great news, especially with the autoimmune thing still making its unwanted presence known.
I've made two important phone calls, received another (from a YM mom). I got one callback - <YAY!> Pippin IS properly-licensed for this year - now for Toots' cardioDoc to get back about the blood thinners (from a message left on 3/6). I'm not sure what dinner will be. We can have C-G leftovers or hold them for another day and have chicken parmigiana and mashed potato. That actually sounds like a good idea. It's time for a nap. Pippin is tapping his paws waiting for me.
Coffee... βββ... chilly here...
πππππππππππππππππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππππππππππ
Russπ€ΉStuff: We asked on Friday for a current health status. The X-ray showed no sign of pneumonia and the antibiotic was due to finish on Friday. They did NOT address the 2nd question, about whether the cardiologist had cleared him for the 9 extractions that the dentist wants to do. No, not "right now" - not until he's over the bronchitis - but is he cleared AT ALL. So we just sent a follow-up email to get that information.
MπΊB & T: <thhhbbbpppttt>. I spent random time yesterday reviewing stuff on the product sale website - yes, he's making significant changes there, NOW. I have no idea what's going to come my way today; T made a comment in another associated chat thread that "Tessa & Mj have 19 emails to get out this week."

The day is winding down. Tomorrow is the potluck. I am ready for a change. I was NOT on program today and doubt I will be tomorrow due to the potluck that will have more food than we will know what to do with. It will be a nice break and then...back on track again for me!
<copied and pasted>
I am getting SO FRUSTRATED with the internet. Phone line is seldom working and filled with static if working at all. Internet is unpredictable and flickers more than it is constant. Talking to family is iffy at best. I am glad we don't have cable TV or I am sure that would also be an issue. We bought auto insurance today and the insurance salesman said that he doesn't have a drivers license and when www.loveandlemons.com/sweet-potato-salad-recipe/ mine expires in 2025 I won't either. It is...an interesting place to live! We bought the items needed for the potluck and I roasted the sweet potatoes and pumpkin seeds, made the salad dressing, packed things up, wait for the arugula to "dry" as it drains so I can pack it up, too. I will assemble it there. The recipe I am making is www.loveandlemons.com/sweet-potato-salad-recipe/ and the dressing seems lacking in something but perhaps others will figure out that it is fine or the ingredients will come together when in the dish together. I am tired for no good reason and am eager for the change tomorrow will bring. Hope all are doing well and hope to have time and internet for personals in the future.

Afternoon all. Quiet day at the office but busy just the same. I have this week and 4 days next week then I'm off for spring break so lots to do to be of out of the office. I cooked a turkey breast in the crockpot yesterday and will eat on that this week. KOKO for me...
June, hope you have a wonderful time with your sisters!
Susi, easing back into work sounds like a good plan. At least you'll be there if anyone has a payroll question.
MJ, Chicken Galore works for a St Pats day meal We had chicken wings and sides. When you are done with the fairies send them my way!
Cathy, I'm sorry its so hard to communicate with your US family... just unacceptable with all the technology that is available to us in today's world. I hope the potluck is a time of enjoyment for you!
Waving to Bee and Ann.
