Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Was kinda mia this weekend. Nothing going on, but … I was in a tv watching mood, lazy days.
It’s beautiful and sunny out, but snow is expected this afternoon. Looks like the weather in February was nicer than what we’re getting in March.
Doing some meal prepping today. I’m getting a rotisserie chicken later and will cut that up. Will enjoy for dinner and a couple of lunches this week. I’m going to fry the cabbage that I bought, I enjoy fried cabbage but it’s so stinky. Will also but romaine salad mix and some veggies to put in the salad. Planning on making some small waffles, I like mine better than the frozen ones in the store but I seldom make them. I’ll freeze at least half the batch, maybe I’ll make 2 batches. I use one of those Dash waffle makers.
Ruth - I know the Sabres are doing well, one of the part’s drivers from work is a big fan and keeps me updated. He offers me tickets every now and then. Too many games left. Last season they missed the playoffs by 2 points, I am hoping they get in this year.
Will do a couple loads of laundry today.
Enjoy your day

Gmornin' (((Hugs))) I wasn't tired when time to go to bed. Then ended up reading for too long. Paid for all that by sleeping in & messing up plans for the day. Grr! Last night's dinner was eggroll in a bowl, using shaved pork. Planning on working in spare room after I get ready for day. (((Hugs)))(((Hugs)))

Joyce, I haven’t bought a rotisserie chicken lately since I’m trying to use up what’s in the freezer, but I really feel that they are a great buy. There are so many ways I can use them. Hopefully if the snow comes it will melt quickly, it usually does in March at home.
Martha, I hope you didn’t mess up your sleep schedule too much by staying up late.
Ruth, I don’t have any clothes that I just wear on a cruise. I bring some of my nicer tops for dinner/evenings. I have a few dresses also, but not sun dress type, just dresses that I wear to a wedding or church sometimes. The shorts and capris I brought are the ones I have in Florida. Since we started flying between Florida and our house, I have a set of summer clothes in Florida and then not as many in Connecticut. I Don’t wear the summer clothes as long in Connecticut.
I’m trying to do a cleaning task daily, easier for me than trying to spend several hours cleaning in one day. We are going to the clubhouse for a concert tonight, Bill doesn’t seem to be out of breath as much, I know it was because he didn’t take his water pill for a few days while travelling.

Good evening all. Stan went to peddling class and I got on the phone with insurance again. Turns out the gal I talked to on Friday is planning to call me when she hears from processing that the claim is in the works. I have no idea why this has to be so hard. Insurance says in our handbook it’s covered. And Stan’s back is really bothering him because he agreed today to make an appt even w/o having the $$ from the first 4. He’s going in tomorrow morning for the first appt with her again. We’ll start submitting the visits one at a time to try and get the ball moving faster and it won’t be such a big amount owed us at one time! However, me seeing the dietician/nutritionist is NOT covered. Unless I have diabetes (not pre-diabetes) it’s not covered. You’d think it would make more sense to do preventative covered care rather than the actual disease. I called our Clinic company (Health Partners) today and found out it’s $123 for my zoom meeting for a half hour. I’m going to keep the appt and go from there. Joy, the YMCA’s around here have their Pre-Diabetes program on hold. It’s not being run at all. So that’s not an option.
Did any of the 3 of you watch the Oprah show tonight on weight loss with the new injectable drugs? Found it interesting. I do not want the shots because you have to give them to yourself daily (for the rest of your life) and I HATE needles with a passion. If there was a good medicine in pill form that would help, I’d take it. Guess we’ll see what the dietician has to say. Biggest thing that came out of Oprah’s show was that being overweight is a disease, not a lack of willpower; and that we need to stop shaming people who are overweight. And to stop shaming yourself for being overweight. I was shaming myself last weekend over using the wheelchairs and the seat belt extenders. But I’m trying to work at eating less (which you have to do) and getting some exercise. I did not get my exercise done today. I loved the part where all the people said they hardly think about food. Oprah said it used to be when she was eating breakfast she was already thinking about lunch and dinner. I’ve done that! Anyone else?
Still no offers to buy some of the things I have for sale. Not sure what’s going on. Some of it’s going to be free in the next few days. And I have more to list. Hopefully I can catch someone’s interest. It’s so frustrating.
Had my massage today. Ended up with a migraine aura when I got off the table. I often have the aura w/o a bad headache. I took a couple more Extra Strength Excedrin and then didn’t feel great. The aura went away but I had a headache and squeaky stomach. Took a few hours before I started feeling decent.
Dottie, good that Bill sounds better. Hope his good health continues.
Joy, Stan does not like the rotisserie chicken for some reason. The taste or something. So we rarely use it. But I know Cathy Valentine loves to use them and does dozens of things with them. And we all need a down day when we don’t do much!
Martha, had one of those days when I slept in and didn’t do much yesterday. But you catch up. Enjoy your day!
ok, going to do some folding of shirts and things that are going back to DS’s house. I have Mara’s outfits matched up but I only got like 3 pairs of matching socks; so they are going to have to find some to add to them. I can’t put together what I don’t have.
Have a good Tuesday all. Will try to get here earlier. I have to do our laundry tomorrow and return this laundry to DIL while DS works. I need to check in with them and see if she’s working or not or will be home at all. Think they need the laundry. And they are to get me a little more, mates to some of Mara’s things.
