Good morning,
It is 52 degrees and it's going to be another beautiful spring-like day here....approaching 70 degrees. We are heading into days of rain starting on Friday. That is the day that we drive to the airport so hoping that it holds off so that we are not soaked when we get to the terminal. We'll see! San Diego highs are still only the mid-60s so it won't be super warm, but it isn't supposed to rain (which is good--I think the wedding and reception are supposed to be outside). Yesterday was a good day work-wise. A few people who were on the interview panel for my position stopped by my office. Apparently, another person dropped out so they only interviewed 3 people....I really didn't want to know a lot about it though....it just feels a little odd. Anyway, today are final interviews (usually the top two) with Cabinet. I am hoping that one of my colleagues from another department is selected. She is new to our organization (this is her second year) and I have found her to be so smart and experienced....I hope that it comes through in an interview situation. Anyway....we'll see! Today I am hosting a training with 40 people and looking forward to seeing the folks from the districts (I will do my own work off and on in the back of the room).
Carole: I like your idea of the trip with the girls next time--planning it out so that everyone is clear on the decisions. None of the "last minute" planning and disappointments. Get that next trip planned and try it out! Hoping that your doctor may have adjusted the CPAP? That is kind of cool that they notified you on their own...technology is just so interesting! I hope that yesterday was a good day and that, soon, you have days in a row where you wake up feeling rested. Based on what Jenny said, it sounds like it takes a little patience though (you have been waiting a long time!).
Jenny: Wow, you really were moving this weekend.... a lot of steps! Good job! I am with you....stay out of the work drama! I hope that you can do that (that you are not somehow dragged into it). Oh, we actually have a friend that we run with who is looking at my car. Her and her husband want to drive it and are seriously considering it for their daughter (in college). It would be the perfect, safe car for someone like that. On our way home from the airport on Sunday, we are going to meet them along the way and they will drive it, etc. So, it might be sold by next week...then I will be car-less! Well, I have Ruby, but it is supposed to be raining so DH might have to chauffeur me around. Guess it's time to make a decision on a car. Hope that you have a good day!
Hello to all who follow--Sue, I hope that your back/ribs are feeling better and that Sarah had a nice birthday dinner last night. I love breakfast for dinner! Hello to Christine, Jo, and Karen. I need to get going to meet the group for a run.

Jenny: WOW - Great job getting steps over the weekend. Man - you got a LOT done. Oh I do hope Kerry gets the power washing done for you. Ahhh 75 degrees, I am dreaming of temps like that! Thanks, Patience is NOT my strong suit. Last night I tightened the straps a bit and then - my overthinking brain - was thinking I'd suffocate! Something "worked" as my report says I scored 100 last night. Fitbit says 80, but no yellow in that graph. I averaged less than 1 event per hour, so I guess it's working.
Get it TRACKED Tuesday... OK will work on that! Yesterday wasn't fully tracked, so I'll need to go back and get that done as well. I got busy upstairs, and with DH help we got the middle room ready for flooring! We might start today, we'll see. I do have to get my bento boxes filled again. Yesterday, I was busy upstairs and skipped lunch.
Ahhh, 70 degrees.... I'll dream of your temps too. We are at 31, and woke to rain/snow mixture this morning! It's just a light snow now, but won't amount to anything. More of this weather coming Saturday! I'm sorry these folks think you need to know every step of the interviewing process. Good luck getting some work done during the training today.
LOL, No not ready to plan another trip just yet. We (the family) have a pretty busy schedule. April Ken & I will be in AZ, May the family (10 of us) will be doing NYC, June is Relay, July we are doing a "Wizard of Oz" Scavenger Hunt! We will head to Worcester, MA for a yellow brick road scavenger hunt through the city. I saw the ad on FB and thought the girls would enjoy it, so bought the tickets. August we head to Branson, then in September, I am hosting our Jenny, and traveling to see you in VT! In amongst all those plans we need to open the pool, and mid June birthday season hits! LOL I think I'll wait a while before planning another trip.
Yes the doctor adjusted the pressure down to 11, and I tightened the mask straps last night. According to my machine I I had a great night! So why do I still feel tired and have a headache this morning?? UGH, will try more water during the day today, see if that helps.
I think yes... it is time to make a decision about a car. LOL If you don't DH might! LOL
Sue: Glad you are feeling better, I bet the warm water pool will help too. Tomorrow is actually the first full day of spring... it doesn't come along until like 11 PM tonight... but YAY HAPPY SPRING! As the snow falls in New England!
OK Need to get moving. I want to get a few things done this morning, in case DH is ready to start flooring today. Due to his knees, I will do most of the kneeling and placing, while he does ALL the cutting! It will not be done in one day, that's for sure!
TRACK IT Ladies... ♥hugs♥

Saw this yesterday on a WW feed on Facebook…thought it was a really good reality check for our sometimes unrealistic expectations of our journey!

Evening all…I did after a crazy busy work day got to the pool…but of course in true “Sue fashion” probably did more than I should and am now paying for it…guess the “nurse” in me is still a terrible patient!
Funny thing….last night I crawled in bed before 10 which is great…went out like a light then woke up suddenly at some point ….looked at my clock as it clicked to 1:59am….the exact time Sarah arrived 38 years ago! Took it as a clue to do as I did when the girls were little….i always got up and went in to be the first person that wished them Happy Birthday! Thankfully I didn’t wake her up! She already gets up way too early with OT!
Josh did help the boys wish her happy birthday…simple as it should be for their age….
Now….while I have read, brain is mush…will hopefully be better tomorrow!
