Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Happy Spring??? Snowing out today and for the next few days. We definitely had a nicer February than March.
They have a new brand of rotisserie chicken now, more expensive but really good. The old brand had a “taste”, maybe that’s why Stan doesn’t like them. I get the plain one, but they have bbq and lemon chicken too.
Ruth - it’s too bad the the Y doesn’t have the Diabetes program going right now. Keep looking, hopefully they will offer it soon.
Dottie- my biggest decluttering issue is that I do a really good job of cleaning a room, but I don’t keep it up. Looking at my living room, there are books, and papers, and stuff on all the tables. They were just cleaned … Ugh!
Martha - I am staying up later since the time change, but I’m forcing myself out of bed when the alarm goes off. I’ll be happier when I get up before the alarm again.
I am so enjoying my morning coffee ever since I started using a percolator. I make extra when going to work, I drink some at home and have enough to take to work too.
Enjoy your day

Good afternoon all. Woke to sunshine, wind, and COLD! Snow possible one night soon. We need the moisture but the wet heavy stuff is nasty! We’ll get what we get!
Joy, it could be that the chickens have indeed changed since we used to get them. It’s been years. Will have to try one again sometime. Cathy Valentine can make half a dozen meals or more out of one.
I am about finished with our laundry. And hoping to take DS’s back to them this afternoon. DIL was home this morning but Stan went for his acupuncture treatment. May go later (during traffic) to meet up with DS and drop it off at the house and pick up more. He said he didn’t get it all collected on Sunday. Maybe pick up something for dinner. Who knows.
I went thru the basket of summer clothes I have for Mara. Lots of t-shirts and shorts. Some little longer capris. She’ll wear her tutu with all of it if I know her. She’s doing much better on her ADHD meds. Happier over all, less frustrated with life in general and able to sit and be quiet longer at school. Nice to hear and see.
Looking at next week’s schedule to see when Stan can go to Boxing Class. We have one or more things every day from Monday through Saturday. Between his two classes, my hair cut, dental appt for that crown replacement, the Elder Law attorney meeting, dinner out with friends. It seems to be feast or famine.
I ended my massage yesterday with a migraine. Got the aura about the time I was getting up off the table. It was good enough I was able to drive home after, but was 2 or 3 hours before I started feeling decent. Slight headache and queasy feeling and just ugh. She worked on a spot on my shoulder that is maybe a nerve and I’m wondering if that maybe triggered the headache. Never happened before and hoping never again.
Next 2 nights we have 9 pm Wild games. Going to be late nights. Hate those. Hope we play well enough to be up that late. So few games left I have to watch it all. Unless they are down by 3 or 4 when the 3rd starts.
Still no sales! So frustrating. Even offered to meet up with a gal for $20 worth of kid pj’s. Time will tell. I moved one thing from selling to free today. Just want it gone. Cross-stitch plastic coffee mugs. Would be a good scout project or nursing home project or something like that.
Waving to Dottie and Martha. More later. Will check in during the game tonight.

Joyce, I understand about keeping up with the clutter. It does sound like you are making good progress.
Ruth, I hope some things sell soon. Why do kids socks always disappear? It happened with my kids and I always find a stray sock or two after the grands visit. That’s great that Mara is adjusting to her meds so well. Sounds like you will have a busy week next week.
This morning I went with Bill to his dermatology appointment for the basal cell on his back. The doctor also found another spot that she thought was suspicious. That spot bled while we were on the cruise and I didn’t like the looks of it although I’m not a doctor. We rushed home and had a quick lunch and went to visit a friend who is very ill. Fortunately he was having a good day and we had a great visit. Didn’t get home from that till after 4 so needless to say I didn’t get much done today.
