Hello all…. I was on the phone trying to combine my and DH’s hotel points to possibly use in Germany but alas we can’t use them to book there. Oh well… this trip is costing a bundle.
I have a dr appointment at 3:30 so I will start to get ready soon.
Nothing much else to report. It is chilly here… a winter ‘s day for the first day of spring.
Have a good day!

Good morning. It was supposed to get up to about 60 today, but they changed that overnight to about 39 with a wind of about 12 to 18 mph later this afternoon. Then for the next several days and into next week we get some of that nasty 4-letter word, "snow," with even colder weather. No spring for us yet.
Today I'm going to pick a project or two to work on. I already got my kitchen cleaned up and now I'm ready to move on. I think I'll clean out a drawer in the kitchen that is my "junk drawer." And try to get in some exercise sessions during breaks and in between jobs.
There have been pheasants hanging around my yard for the last few days. They disappeared from the time we got the heavy snow. I suppose they were down in the coulees under the bushes and trees seeking shelter. Now, even though it is not very warm and not windy with snow they have ventured back to my yard looking for food.
Well I guess I'd better get going on my projects, I've messed around on the computer long enough.
Have a good day, everyone.

Hello all,
Still cool here, we had a bit of a freeze last night. It got down to 25. I don't know if it killed anything or not. Maybe some of the blooms on the flowering trees. Our cherry tree has been beautiful, just covered with pink blooms. Doesn't matter if it is frozen or not, we never get any cherries, the birds eat them as soon as they come on the tree. I do so enjoy the birds though. We often see beautiful red cardinals & bluebirds too. We have 4 birdhouses in the back & they are usually always full of the little bluebirds, sometimes the little wrens. The cardnials nest in the pine trees behind our property.
Cherry I always smile when you use the word Coulee. My late SIL used to call the tail end of the chicken the Coulee. She loved it & would never throw it away. She always cooked it & ate it. My mom always called It the "grease ball" & would usually just cut it off & toss it.
The cleaning Girls came this morning & then I ran to the store for milk & a couple of other items. The sunshine is lovely, just cool today.
Have a good one my friends.
