Good morning.
26, cloudy, winds still blowing, going to 32.
Robin, I think that now Bob and I know each other better, he must feel more comfortable chatting with me, because he does help with the conversation, to a point. I am not too sure he likes someone telling him what to do, as the other day when I was saying he should try heat along with the icing of his hip, he said, yes mother. That is a true sign from a man to shut up, hahaha.
How did your interview go yesterday?
Marsha sounds like the unveiling has turned into a luncheon also. Which is to be expected, with older senior citizens.
Bob has an MRI scheduled tomorrow at Bellin, then they can just send the results to Froedtert. His specialist in Milwaukee thinks one of the screws might have shifted a bit and hit a nerve. He was a bear, yesterday afternoon to talk to, what with not having sleep 2 nights in a row.
Great job sticking with going to the Y, when you really don't feel like going. I am so glad I have the job I do, as I just do not have any inclination to go back to the Y, haven't been there since they locked up for Covid. Funny, that your routine there is basically the same as mine was, when I went there. I know what you mean about putting on your workout clothes after the shower.
Gareth, the predictions for the snow amounts are all over the place. Guess we just have to wait and see, I wouldn't be surprised if we get nothing, as that is what it seems is the norm up here, with us in that drought, plus high fire danger.
Thanks, about the picture of Bob. A picture of us 2 probably won't happen for a while, with him dealing with that hip pain, he told me the other day he won't be able to come here with the stairs. And I am realizing he does not go out to eat much, but he does like ordering in.
I would try to see if there is some way the insurance can work around the 2 MRIs, that is just plain stupid. With all of DH's neck (he had to have a plate put in his neck) issues and tests, and back surgeries, he never had that told to him. That is a head scratcher!
Anngie, Bob is a very nice guy. I like that he can get passionate about the same things as I, like the little boy (3 yrs old) that is missing from the area, so we are all following the story, politics, and some other things. So, when one of us gets going about something, the other jumps in with their opinion.
Yes, I am tickled that Char is back, even for just a month. It is so funny looking at her with her tanned face.
Her and I got a kick out of the fact that she came back to work and then has a week off, a week later.
What are your plans for Easter?
Pinky, I am sorry, but I do not remember where the visitation/funeral will be; hopefully close to you? I see Sunday and Monday we are predicted to have snow here, then changing to rain by Tuesday, so I assume that is what you are expecting, too?
I have never heard of the unveiling of the headstone/tombstone either.
Glad your eye checked out ok, just annoying though about the floaters. How was your coffee klatch? You sure deserve some time to get away for a little while, after your hectic time with the grands over.
Carol, I remember the church we belonged to would do that, with any space that seemed it was not used much; somehow it would collect things that was not supposed to be there. They did that to us, (DH and I) as we had a corner desk in the church office for the script program, and when we weren't there, someone would just trash the desktop with things they did not know where to put. We sure didn't know what to do with half those things! But we had to get rid of it. I sure don't miss running that program!
Yes, I am happy Char is back.
President of the school board announced late yesterday that we are getting a 4.12% raise. Did not see that coming. Needless to say, DD and I are happy.
So many kids came out for recess yesterday, for one of the recess's I had to radio in to have another person out there supervising. There was no one to spare, so the woman that runs the security desk watched over us, with the cameras. I am not happy with the other monitor that now has to come out there, since that other monitor quit, as this one just goes and stands in one corner of the property. Then she screams at kids and expects them to hear and obey her. I tend to move around the whole area, keeping an eye out for anything, and chatting with kids. Oh well, 3 days left till vacation. Then just a couple months left till summer vacation.
