Good morning!
Welcome to Wednesday---the middle of the week and then we ease into the weekend. Based on the fact that I am the one starting the thread again, I am thinking that everyone is pretty busy. I feel you! I am still tracking (thank you for the inspiration, Carole) and decided to just be home this morning before my 7:30 am meeting (I was considering the gym since we fly out on Friday and I won't be able to go). It feels good to be at home---I was so tired at the end of the day yesterday that I wasn't able to figure out something that I can usually do (it is this system for checking to see if schools qualify for assistance). My mind just couldn't stay focused on it. My last meeting (at a district) ended at about 6:05 and I was home by 6:45 pm but really didn't have any breaks except 20 min at lunch. Today should be better I think. Tomorrow night I need to pack my suitcase so hoping to get some other things done tonight. My Superintendent (being the gracious and thoughtful person that he is) called me yesterday to tell me who they selected to fill my position. I am SO happy!! I thanked him over and over for letting me know. They will notify that person this morning. I can't tell you what a relief this is for me--- I didn't realize how much it was bothering me. My people here will be good Well, the San Diego weather is not looking super great--high of 64 degrees and possible rain. I just feel for my niece who has been planning this wedding...I am sure that she wanted nice weather. Who knows....maybe it will improve?
Carole: Wow, you have a lot of fun trips planned....I love that Wizard of Oz event. That will be fun to see how they set it up! And it sounds like it will be outside, lots of walking, fun for the girls! So many great things to look forward to. It sounds like you are figuring out the sleep machine too....it might be more than the breathing issues that are affecting your sleep. I would vote for giving it a few weeks at least to see. I do hope though that you feel good in the morning when you get up. It sounds like you are doing a good job planning to keep those lunches healthy--- I want to be like that too! I can't imagine, after making my own lunch for 36 years, that I will change that one much---just maybe when I make them. How is the planning going for your kitchen? I hope that you get that all agreed upon soon. You use that space SO much and deserve a lovely place to be working! You are right....I need to decide on a car. Interestingly enough, one of the people I work with (at another office) bought a car that is one of the two on my list. Yesterday he sent me a message and said, "Come over here, get in my car and drive it." He loves it and thinks I should drive it without a salesman in it....just notice how it feels to drive it. It is not a "taller" SUV and I get worried that I am used to feeling taller in my current car and won't like the lower feeling. I might take him up on that today (later in the afternoon). Uggh, decisions. Hope that you have a good day and wake up feeling more rested!

Sue: So how was the pool? Hoping that it felt good and you could stretch a bit. How interesting that you woke up at the time Sarah was born! Things like that are so curious! It sounds like the birthday celebration was nice and that Josh set a decent example for his boys...thank goodness. Hoping that your week is going well for you.
Hello to Jenny, Christine, Jo, and Karen--I do hope that you are feeling good about your week so far. Karen should be having a Spring break soon I think? Jo, have you made progress on the decision for Emilie to stay home or go to the lake? I might have time to check back later. Have a good morning!

Sue: YAY for a trip to the pool. Sorry you overdid it though.
Gabrielle: Thanks for starting us off again today. Busy is not the word for ME not starting us... it's tired or lazy! Seriously I sleep until 8 or 9 most mornings! This is ridiculous! After 6 nights with this damned machine, I should be waking up feeling better! Sorry, don't mean to be Negative Nell here, but I just thought THIS was the answer!! Anyway - moving on from MY "drama"!
I'm glad you decided to skip the gym today. You need some rest or down time each day. WOO HOO for them making a selection, and it being someone you are pleased with! Is it the one you mentioned before? Hoping she would get the job?
Aww, it is too bad if the outdoor wedding/reception are rained on. I am sure there is a contingency plan. Tents, with heaters even? Maybe? I am sure it will be a wonderful time anyway. They always say, rain on wedding day is a sign of good luck! We had snow, sleet and rain on our wedding day... here we are (almost) 46 years later!
Yes, the Wizard of Oz, SAYS 90 minutes, and it is all outside - lots of walking. Since we moved from Worcester 45 years ago, it will be fun to see what's changed, and what's still the same, and we get exercise!
As I mentioned - I am NOT waking up feeling any better, yet. I will say the machine says I slept better, and the % of restlessness, is better than when I first started... so I need to give myself a break... and just "let it be"! It is what it is, and if I'd stop stressing over it, maybe it would in fact be helping me (more)!
YES, get over there and drive that guy's car!! I didn't realize you test drove with a salesman! My dealer just filled it with gas and said, see ya' later! LOL
Woke to snow again today. Same as yesterday, slushy in the driveway, and now just barely coming down. I think it's going to be like this until next week!
DH is at work, not sure what my day will hold. I am caught up on prepping, dishes, and laundry, so what-to-do, what - to - do???
OK Waves to all to follow ~ Thinking of you all.
