This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning, everyone.
Welp, I did it. I snagged the glue that was lifting and made my finger start bleeding. I took some clean sanitized scissors and trimmed off as much of the loose glue as I could. I am right-handed and the cut is on my right hand - so handling scissors left-handed is not easy. I did the best I could, bandaged it back up and the bleeding seems to have stopped. I am starting to wonder about the dr. who did the glue - he seemed very hesitant and unsure of what he was doing. My neighbor and I were giggling that he was in another room watching YouTube videos of how to do sutures. He did also have 2 other dr. there look at it before he decided on using the glue - it was kind of a big gloppy mess when he did it. Oh well - as long it doesn't seem to be getting infected, I am just going to keep on keeping it cleaned and bandaged unless I am home doing NOTHING.
I am leaving for NC in a bit. I have to work part of the day first.
Susie - I will go by where Daddy is staying. Maybe I should show up and say hi - LOL I bet he would be surprised to see me. I do not like the cold weather either. I hope it starts warming up soon. Neighbor has someone opening her pool mid-April - It will obviously be too cold to get in it then. It will be nice to sit by the pool in the warm weather though.
Lora I hope your MIL is continuing to do well.
Janet I am sorry about all that your work partner is going through. Hopefully she won't get hurt while trying to her Dad. It would be sad if they have to move him but it might be the best thing for him.
Waving to everyone. I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

Good morning and happy Wednesday!
Jana - thanks for starting us! So sorry about your glue snag. Ouchie! I agree that clean and covered should be fine. If it gets wet, I'd air dry it for a bit to keep the healing moving along. Have a wonderful weekend in NC. I hope y'all have beautiful weather for your sisters weekend.
Susie - teaching an Irish dance? How fun! That LLI sounds great.
Janet - sounds like your partners family is in a tough situation with her father. You never would want to go against their wishes, but if they're dangerous to themselves and/or others, I can certainly see where a facility would be safer to all involved.
We have sunshine again today and are heading toward the mid-60s this afternoon. Funny how a big splashy pool in a box in the garage is suddenly making this cool weather lover anxious for warm weather to get here. Haha! Tomorrow we're looking at clouds and then rain for Friday & Saturday. I guess I need to enjoy the sun while I can.

Hello All - went to see my neurological ophtalmologist this morning....was there for 2 hours. All looks good, will go back next year. DH and I went to an LLI class on Grover Cleverland (the only President to serve 2 non-consecutive terms). It was really good. We stopped to get something to eat on the way home and now I am in for the evening.
Jana - oh no! Glad you got the bleeding stopped. Hope you have a great weekend.
Lora - today was the warmest day this week, but it got pretty breezy so not the best day to be outside.
Waving to everyone....
