Checking in. Internet cooperating so will finish on the boards then post the review for the book finished last night. Bella didn't show up for her breakfast till nearly noon - no idea where she was. Maybe she ate a lot of rodents last night and didn't need to eat till now.
We have leftovers I can reheat for lunch so am not going to make anything new.
BEVERLY: Hope you, your husband, and family are staying strong.
CHERRY: What kind of bread do you make? I have to make a yeast bread - perhaps Easter related - for an event on Wednesday. LYNN: Doing anything fun this weekend?

Hello!
Nothing planned this weekend⦠it is raining cats and dogs today so I am staying home. I already started a pot of soup for dinner.
On Monday I have to drive up to our car dealer to get some maintenance on my car and they have to replace a chip that went askew on my dashboard. That will take a lot of hours ughβ¦
On Tuesday I have to drive a friend to the airportβ¦
It will be a busy week!
Have a lovely day!

Good morning. cathygeha, I make 100% whole wheat bread, with white whole wheat flour (made from a different variety of wheat) and regular whole wheat (made from red spring wheat). I mixed up bread yesterday and forgot to put yeast in it, and it wouldn't rise. I had no idea how to salvage bread that won't rise, so I trashed it and am making another loaf today. It is already mixed up and waiting for the first rise. I use a bread machine to mix it up in, but I form it into a loaf and bake it in a bread pan in the oven. I don't like trying to slice bread that has been baked in the bread machine as it's not anything like a normal loaf. It is supposed to snow this weekend, starting today and going through Sunday night, with wind so I don't know whether I'll be going into town for church this evening or not nor even tomorrow. I'm waiting to see what it is like by the time I have to leave for town. Other than that I'll just pick some projects to do in the house. Have a good day, everyone.
