Good morning! My throat is the same, no better but no worse, thank goodness. I ended up listening to my hunger on Thursday. I didnโt track, but I didnโt binge. Everything I ate had nutritional benefit, so Iโm counting it as a win. We had a party last night, and as planned I ate before I went and then had my usual snacks when we got home. I only had club soda while we were there.
Lori, have so much fun looking at dresses today!
Meg, Iโm sorry youโre struggling. I certainly know the feeling. Iโm wishing peace for you as we move into Holy Week.
Nancy, did you make your beef stew? How did you feel at the end of your busy day?
Kathy, back home?

C80. D15. Mostly TRE, but some unhealthy choices. They had an M&M and yogurt raisin bar that I indulged in. Some fabulous meals and drinks. Scale up 1 pound, but still in my goal range. Might fast today.
Jan- sorry to hear about the sore throat. Hope you have a restful weekend ahead.
I'm home, but fun social obligations today.
Kathy

C134D8, Finsished last night at 9:30 - First meal today at 11:00 AM.
Lori - Good luck finding a dress. I have something very appropriate for Gracie's wedding so have to decide whether to wear it or look for something new. How to Eat More Plants is interesting. She doesn't suggest stopping anything that you like to eat, just add the plants which she defines as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds, herbs and spices. I'm still working my way thru the book but am guessing her recipes will be full of beans and therefore not appropriate for me.
Jan - Sorry about the throat but kudos on the club soda. Yes I made the beef stew and really enjoyed my first helping yesterday. At Costco I bought these beautiful danish at a friend's suggestion. One box of almond and one box of cream cheese filling. They're large, so she suggested I cut them in quarters for the dine in. I also caved to Costco's barbecued chicken - just couldn't resist. I've never bought one before even though I've been well aware of them. And yes on Friday I got home at 3 and slept right thru til 7:30 when my cleaning girl woke me up. I was obviously exhausted.
Kathy - How fanatical are you about "clean" fasts when doing TRE? I am absolute about it, not even a cough drop. I can't believe I've been doing this with no effort. This morning I woke up at 7 AM but held off till 11 AM for my first meal since I didn't want to go under the 12 hours and dozed off for the last 1-1/2 hours.

Hi guys. Trying to focus on clean eating, stick to the planned foods, 3 meals in the 8-hour window. Feeling stronger.
Jan: I agree: Club Soda is a big win! Looking forward to Holy Week. I'm part of a small ASL (sign language) choir that is doing one song on Easter morning. Lots of fun.
Lori: Your outings with DH always sound so fun. My DH doesn't want to go anywhere. I may just start insisting. Enjoy the dress shopping.
Nancy: You are doing so well with the 12-hour eating window. Very inspiring!
Kathy: Welcome home. You and your M&Ms (heh). I think I've eaten more candy in the last few weeks than I ever have before. It's usually not very tempting to me (I usually like the baked goods more), but for whatever reason, I've been scarfing them. I need to get really serious about no sweet treats and no subbing carbs for them.
Happy Saturday, all.

Meg - I'm strict about the fast but no rules about the eating time. I figure it's better to concentrate on one thing at a time. I still have a lot of unhealthy food in the house and am very anxious to get rid of it. I bring nothing unhealthy into the house, so eventually I should have only healthy options. The plant recipes in the book were totally unappealing to me. I don't like complicated recipes and am happy with my steamed or roasted veggies without adornment. I think I'm leaning toward whole foods rather than plant based foods as a basis for my forthcoming diet. I still have some nutrisystem meals to get thru, but have no desire to replace them in the future. The main thing I learned from the books is to stop counting calories. Is there any way you can get the candy out of your house?

Nancy: There's no candy in the house. I buy it myself when I'm out. Sigh. Today was clean, though! Yay!
